He smiles, nuzzling her as they arrive at the camp. "So, I noticed the fox. You think maybe we could take it in? I could talk to it. I'm fluent in fox. I can translate for the little one."

He nods. "Well, still, I'd love to go with you. I have an eidetic memory."
-
He smiles. "I'll do it. Its not hard with my memory."
-
Syra smiles. "I'm a scout, Legendstar. I've traveled to your borders before. Hard to notice a black cat in the middle of a new moon."
-
He smiles, and nods. He walks over to Kajika he smiles kindly. "Hello there, bud. I'm Skye." He says in fox. "I'm gonna help you stay here, ok?"
-
She smiles. "Not good, great. I've been to your nursery, and surveyed your defenses. They're pretty good, but you've gotta work on the walls. Thorns on the tops will stop predators from climbing the walls. No worries, though. I'm not gonna hurt anyone. I'm a scout for fun."
-
She chuckles. "Use the branches, silly! Dry out some sap and use it to stick the thorns on!"
-
Skye smiles. "You understand me, bud? It's ok, I'm a friend."
-
Skye turns to them. "I'm skye."
-
She shrugs. "I'm good at thinking up new things."
-
Skye smiles. "I met Legendstar a while back, and I told her I'd join once I'm finished with Phantomclan. My sister died protecting me, and I intend to repay the favor by protecting you guys till death."
-
Skye hisses. "Anyone hurts this fox, you'll have to deal with me! Understand? I'm not going to let anyone get hurt on my watch. So. Play. Nice." He says, eyes lighting up a bright blue, a blue haze forming over his claws, and it coalesced into claws much bigger than his are normally. "I am a sage of the sky. You mess with me, you deal with ticking off Amaterasu."
-
Skye smiles, going to Syra. "Let's get outta here, sis. Let's go explore."
-
Yup yup!
-
He calms down, and curls up, tears welling up in his eyes. Evidently, it hurts him to do that.
-
He follows her, smiling, syra in tow.
-
He recoils. "Owww.... that hurt." He says, switching between fox and normal speak.
-
He groans weakly. "Damnit, lord Amaterasu, why? Why can't I channel you yet?" He murmurs, and winces, getting up. "Sorry for worrying you both. I can barely control it. This ability is VERY recently acquired. I started following Amaterasu's teachings to see if I couldn't see Syra one last time, to say goodbye. It didn't work. I saw her ghost, but she just started crying and turned away from me. I-I think Amaterasu is punishing her for her sins. I want to save her, but I cant... not alone, anyway. I need your whole clan's help. Please, she's all I had for so long. I just want to repay my debt to her."
-
He sighs. "That one doesn't like me, it seems. Too bad. His energy is good. He'd be able to learn what I can do and use it himself." He says, sitting. "Well, thanks, guys. I hope it doesn't take too long to get the trust from him. I brought down a deer earlier. Its about a mile to the west of here, hidden in a bush. I cut it apart to hide it easier. My claws from Amaterasu can rend twoleg vehicles. It wasn't hard to kill a deer."
-
Skye smiles at the little fox, retelling what just happened on fox so he could understand. "Amaterasu is the Guardian of nature, a deva. A powerful one that guards the spirit world. I tried to rip the veil to get syra back. As a result, he's punishing her."
