Name- Lana Monroe
Gender: Female
Age: 22OOC:
Thank you!IC:
Lana walked quickly through snow covered streets, attempting to peer inside the many businesses she passed along her way. When she reached Starbucks she put more time into looking around, knowing it was on the list of her current targets favorite places to go. It wasn't long before she spotted the young girl, and even less time for Lana to react. In minutes she was sitting in the chair beside her, eyes cold and a cruel smile on her face.
"You can either come with me quietly and without struggle, or I can remove you by force. It's your choice." -
Ah, demons girl has a little spunk in her. That won't last," Lana said with a chilling laugh. Each demon she encountered started with that spark in them. With the false belief that they were better, more clever than anything and everything. It never lasted long, not with Lana around, and there was nothing different about this one. All demons were the same bloodthirsty, horrific embodiment of evil that they have been for centuries. They never changed, and they wouldn't start now.
"Show me the way? Don't be ridiculous. It's not as if you know where it is or how to get in. And if you do, I will find out, and I will punish you for every time you have come within a mile of the place. So be warned. You dirty little magic tricks do not scare or intimidate me." -
Lana chuckled at the girls ignorance and shook her head in disbelief. "I am glad you believe so, you'll need all the imagined power you can get for the next few weeks." Pushing back her chair, she stood and stretched out her long, lean body. She stood taller than most woman, and the added height gave her a natural edge and sense of intimidation. Walking past Lindsay and out the door she looked over her shoulder and said,"You might think you're stronger, h*ll maybe you are, but I have fought and won against stronger beings my entire life. What gives me the edge over you and all those like you is my intelligence. That and my determination to see everyone of you wiped from existent. Enough of all this serious talk though, it's getting old and I'm not in the mood to play an intimidation game with you."
-
"Do you think it matters to me how strong you are? Strength can only carry one so far," Lana told her, and edge to her voice. "And of course we did not believe your capture so easy. I am sure you have many tricks up your sleeve, and I can assure your at pointedly that I have some as well. My band of misfits and I, as you have so correctly deemed us, have been doing what we do for many years. For centuries even, if you count back all of the generations. There have been people like us since there were people like you. We are in no way amateurs, and it would be most foolish of you to underestimate us." Her statement ended with cool assurance dripping from each word, and there was a lethal smile on her face. When she heard the girl complaining about the weather the smile grew and she laughed freely. "A demon that complains! How comical that is. Why do you care how cold it is? Just look at you! Your internal temperature is so high there's steam coming off of you. Oh, and how near or how far the base is doesn't concern you. We will get there when we get there."
-
"You're giving away quite a bit of information about yourself. I haven't even started the interrogation yet! If this is what I can expect from you during your entire stay I wouldn't mind that you're an over confident, bragging demon with a nasty ego." Lana spoke in cheerful kind of way as she guided then through a maze of snowy streets until they reached a 2014 Dodge Charger, parked neatly into a parking spot surrounded by trees. When she reached the drivers side of the car she stopped, spun around and looked at the girl with shrewd, assessing eyes. "Oh boohoo, "My wings were stolen from me, my kind is against me!" Can you not hear how absolutely annoying you are? Do you seriously mean for me to fear you when you spew this drivel? You are embarrassing yourself and making me uncomfortable. Oh, and we'll be using this baby here for the rest of our travel," she said with and affectionate pat on the roof of the car.
-
Lana's eyes widened in horror when she saw the girls fiery fist coming so close to her car, and then narrowed in rage. "Is that a threat? Because I swear to all that I stand for, if you put even a scratch on Charley the Charger, I will end you." Venom and hatred coated her words, and pent up anger made her whole body shake. The use of her silly car name didn't even embarrass her. She sat down in the drivers seat and glared daggers and the red eyed she-demon. "You will not harm Charley for any reason, and if you do I will make sure to pay you back in kind. Now stop looking at me with those creepy little eyes of yours, I am trying to drive." With that she peeled out of the parking lot and turned her focus to the road.
-
"My confidence isn't undeserved, so I can and will be as confident as I please. We may not now the exactly how much power the demons wield, but we can make pretty good guesses." When Lana heard her mention the missing hunters she stiffened ever so slightly and ground her teeth. The disappearance of the men and woman under her command had eaten away at her for weeks. To be reminded of her failure so harshly only made it worse. "The existence of dragons does not faze me, as I have know about dragons for many years. And this island you tell me of has little importance to me right now, even if it is real. I will deal with that situation in due time, don't you worry." The farther she drove the more deserted the roads became. In barely any time at all they were surrounded by frozen fields of wheat and corn, meadows that usually had cows and horses roaming them empty. It was as if life was at a stand still.

OOC: Sorry I haven't replied in a few days, we had some surprise electrical work done on my house so I haven't been able to go online.
IC: "You're just a one man pity party aren't you?" Lana asked her in exasperation. There was only so much complaining she could take, and with the news of humans being changed into demons her patience was limited. "You were just bragging about how powerful you are, and now you're saying you shouldn't even be called a demon. If you hadn't been able to evade us for so long I wouldn't even bother with you," as she spoke her irritation became evident, and her hands gripped the steering wheel so tight her knuckles turned white. In an attempt to lessen her agitation she focused more on the questions she was asked. "The number of demons I've captured isn't high. Not because I couldn't, but because I prefer to kill them. They could offer me nothing, but I have a feeling you can. And my name isn't relevant, however you asked me so nicely I feel compelled to indulge you just this once. My last name is Monroe."
-
Smiling at her discomfort, Lana replied in a haughty tone,"You will so readily betray your kind? I must say, I thought it would be harder to get information from you. This is almost proving disappointing." It might be time consuming, but she had always liked long, grueling interrogations. When a demon finally cracked and told you everything you wanted to know, the feeling was indescribably satisfying. "And of course I kill them, most demons are of no use to me. But you have nothing to worry about, at least for the present. You are still worth something to me... Did you just giggle?" she asked in astonishment. In all of her years as a demon hunter, she had never heard one giggle. Is was discomforting, hearing such a human sound coming from something so inhuman.
