His breath was heavy and rugged. He'd been running for god knows how long. But it would both worth it to loose those guys. Maeron had Shamus on his back, legs wrapped around his waist and arms around his neck, and Shraya in his arms bridal style. Demons weren't lucky enough to have super speed like they did, so he always had to carry her. This was the first time they'd been caught by HUNTERS. Usually it was just a random person's family member or something, but never hunters. This was bad. They knew their faces now if they had stayed long enough. They were on their trail, he knew it. He couldn't go back to the castle, they would know where they went. Only Shraya could do that undetected by shadow transporting. So, they kept running. Hopefully the hunters would just forget about them, leave them be. But they couldn't be sure. Soon enough, thank god, they came across a stone cottage. Unluckily, there were lights. They couldn't just barge in. Karkat went to it, Maeron following close behind. The young hybrid prince pounded on the door, yelling, "HELLO?! ANYONE IN THERE?! LET US IN WE'RE BEING CHASED HELP US!!"

Finally. He'd gotten to go on a hunt. It was the first time in a while he'd been allowed to go instead of working the computers. Sure, he was good at it but that didn't mean he had to be there all the f-cking time. Not only that, but they actually found some creatures. Three vampires and a demon to be exact. Why a demon was there they didn't know but they chased them. They lost them about twenty minutes ago, but they were doing their best to continue tracking them. "Th'till nothing." Sollux groaned, cussing in Russian and throwing his gun down on the ground. "Hey, we're all frustrated here." Another member of the hunting party sighed, leaning against a tree. "We HAD 'EM!!!" The Captor hissed before kicking a small rock into the depths of the forest. "We're going to be out here till we find them, 2. Don't worry." The leader of the party, Mark, said, putting a hand on Sol's shoulder, "It's why they put you on MY team. The best team. We stay out till we get them. No questions asked. It'll be fine. Let's keep going. MEN, LET'S KEEP GOING NORTHWARD!" With that, the hunters gathered their things and kept folloing the trail they thought the vampires and demon took.

Karkat rushed in as soon as the door opened, falling to his knees on the floor and letting out a wail of pain from how much his chest burned. Being half demon f-cked up his running. He could run fast sure, but he couldn't keep going for too long or it would affect him as it would a demon. He fell onto his side and groaned loudly, slightly curling in on himself as he tried to actually breath right. Fuck that was far... how was he still even conscious? Maeron set Shraya down on her feet and knelt down so Shamus could climb down off of him. "Thank you..." Maeron said once he stood, putting his arm around his brother as Shraya went to kneel beside Karkat. "We were found by hunters while we were out in search for blood. We got away from them, but they're hot on our trail... Shraya is going to get us changes of clothes because they'll probably base it off of that. I don't think they saw our faces for too long." The older Mallor boy explained, walking over to Karkat and getting down beside him so Shraya could summong a shadow portal and disappear into it. The portal closed after her. "Sorry to trouble you though. He really needed to stop, and we needed to hide." It was a few minutes later when Shraya returned, giving out the new clothes to everyone, who took turns changing in a hidden room, all but Karkat, who they were allowing to lay on the couch to attempt to get rid of his headache.

The team of hunters continued walked, and ended up at a clearing with a stone cottage. "Sir, I'm getting abnormal thermal readings from inside the house." One said, showing a screen to Mark. Mark moved to the cottage and knocked on the door. "Hello? Anyone in there?" He asked. Sollux sighed and pushed Mark aside, saying, "We have legal authority. We can th'earch this pla'the." before unlocking the door using his telekinesis. Mark then opened the door and gazed upon the group. "I'm sorry, ma'am, but we're going to have to take a look around, take a check on you all. Hopefully our search here will show to be fruitless. You needn't worry about us taking anything unless permission is granted. Now come on men. You two, go to the upstairs and see if anyone else is here, you two stay with me. Captor, take that one." Mark said, pointing when he spoke. Lliamm was staying with Mark, who was going to check the four he saw standing before him. Sollux was to tend to the one on the couch. Great. He got the sick one. Or was he sick? Maybe not. His face was pale enough... unless... He went over and got on the floor beside the couch he was on. "So, how'd you get here?" He asked him, crossing his arms.

The Cancer looked over to the blond, sighing softly. "We just got here. We're visiting. She's our cousin," He pointed to the stranger, only getting his information from Shraya and her mind powers. She was telling the same story to the man kneeling in front of them. "It's been a while since we've seen her. We live far away." He then put a hand to his forehead and hissed. Fuck, pain. This damn headache wouldn't go away would it?

Mark seemed to believe every part of Shraya's story. That Maiyya was Shraya, Karkat, and the Mallor's cousin, and they were coming for a visit. Maeron kept his brother behind him, holding his hand so that he knew he was there. Having a blind brother was kinda hard, but he would do anything for the little guy. "You seem to pass... Lliamm. You trust them with this story? You think they're lying?" Mark inquired, looking to the other hunter.

Once the pain subsided, Karkat looked back to the hunter. He was scared, but at the same time, this guy was very attractive, and he seemed to be treating him gently. He was ok with that. It made him a little more nervous but still a lot better at the same time. "Um... I'm Karkat." He said softly, putting his hand out to the human. Hopefully this wasn't bad??? Exchanging pleasantries with him? Hopefully it didn't end too badly... Maeron smiled a bit when the other agreed, but quickly got rid of it. He couldn't show his satisfaction. "Now, if you believe us, can you please leave? You're scaring the hell out of my little brother. He can't see you and you're a stranger so he's afraid, right Shamus?" He asked, looking to his little brother, who nodded. Shraya smiled politely, gesturing to the upstairs, "And don't forget the other men when you leave."

Mark nodded to them and looked at Lliamm, saying, "Got get Rodney and Jayson. I'll be waiting out front... Sollux, get out here." Sollux watched the stranger wince in pain and decided to give him a second. He was in pain? It was probably headaches. He got them a lot too, so it was understandable. When he introduced himself, he smiled a bit and took his hand, shaking it and saying, "I'm 2." He almost didn't want to let go of his hand. There was something that felt... nice about it? He couldn't describe the feeling. It was more of a... warm but cold feeling at the same time? But, all things must end. He felt his face heat up as he let go, looking over to his group leader when he heard his name. He nodded then turned back to the other, reaching into his pocket and mumbling, "You have a phone, Karkat?"

Shraya sighed softly when they left, looking at Maeron, "That was so f-cking close." she whispered, giving him a hug. "Yeah, I know." He sighed, patting her back then picking up his brother, "As soon as they're gone we're outta here." "Well what about her? We should know if she needs somewhere to stay." "You are NOT suggesting we take in ANOTHER person are you?" "Well... I guess? I mean she did just save our LIVES here." "Holy f-ck Shraya." "Hey, I'm just trying to be hospitable, unlike SOMEONE!!!" Maeron growled and showed his fangs to show he wasn't taking her sh-t, letting them retract when he knew she saw. Shraya rolled her eyes and sighed, moving over to the area where Karkat was to sit with him instead. Karkat looked at the blond hunter in front of him and shook his head, saying, "I can get one though." He got a half smile from the hacker and a piece of paper. He smiled a little and watched the other get up and leave.

The other two people on the team left the house with nothing in hand but many scannings they had gotten from rooms upstairs and random hairs they managed to find for scientific testing. Mark greeted them outside then began to speak with them. Sollux smiled to Karkat and said, "Call me when you get that phone, ok?" before getting up and joining the others outside. He joined in their conversation, arms folded across his chest. The only thing in his mind being that d-mn boy. F-uck, Karkat get out of his head. That didn't work... well sh-t. He'd get the thought out of his head. "Let's head back with our findings... LLIAMM!!!" Mark yelled inside the house to get the boy's attention, "LETS MOVE IT NOW!!!"

[glow=red,2,300]Slice, slice, stab stab. That's pretty much the whole routine now, what with the Blight swallowing up Lothering like it was buttered spaghetti. Bethany, Carver, and Hawke's mother, Leandra, were running from their home as it was beginning to fill with darkspawn, because really, there was no way to get them to calm down. Not so friendly, those hurlocks. No friendship circle of peace or anything was going to ensue, so running was their only option. Other than fighting. Hawke and his younger siblings were good at fighting though, so they weren't too worried.

They ran along the path, heading south after running into a templar, Ser Wesley, and his wife, Aveline. That's when, surprise surprise, they ran into more people running from the blight. Another mage, no less. Ser Wesley would not be pleased. Hawke, Aveline, Carver, and Bethany all ran to assist the mage girl and her templar accomplice, while Ser Wesley, who was injured, and Leandra stood aside as they were in no condition to fight. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Garrett was glad to see them running towards them, be he casually ran past them to stab two genlocks in the head, and use one that was still stuck to his dagger to push over another. Bethany halted next to Sparrow, shooting a wall of ice in front of them as extra protection for the two mages, Ser Wesley, and her mother. Carver was basically surrounded, but he did one spin with his longsword fully extended and slashed them all to death. Garrett was a little overwhelmed, but it caused Carver to be worried.

"GARRETT!" Left his mouth without him thinking as he full on charged at the darkspawn surrounding his older brother, and knocked about half of them over with his sword, stabbing them in the process. Garrett smiled a bit to Carver before taking a small bomb out of his pocket and throwing it on the ground, transporting him behind the group on genlocks and allowing him to backstab two of them. Aveline, well, she was rushing some with her shield, helping clear out some of the darkspawn Carver was fighting. A few more were coming up the ridge, but seeing how the fight was going, it would be over soon.

"Be careful Carver! Garret, take care of you little brother! Don't let him die!" Leandra called from behind, tears on the verge of dripping down her cheeks. The sadness was clear in her voice. [/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300] "I know this is the worst timing," Bethany began as she lit her hands on fire with magic and began to melt a hole in the ice for her staff so she could hide easier, "But my name is Bethany! Bethany Hawke!" Once a hole was melted in the cold, frozen surface of her wall, her staff was through and she was shooting magic from her hiding place and confusing darkspawn to guide them away from her brothers, Aveline, and Sparrow's brother. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Garrett and Carver fought together like a machine that was perfectly built. Carver swinging around Garrett and Garrett swinging his arm over his brother not only to give him space, but to dig his dagger into a hurlock's head. Aveline wasn't a part of the machine, but she did her part with ease. Slicing, chopping, stabbing her way through until none stood before her, and looking over at the rest of them, none were around the two brothers either.

But when the ogre came, Aveline dove for Crane to get him out of the path of the ogre and make sure he was unharmed. "They will not take you." Aveline muttered to him before getting up to sprint her way to Garrett and Carver. They spoke softly to each other but quickly because there was no time to waste as the ogre roared at the people behind the wall of ice and breaking it down. The wall was not broken before Bethany could grab Sparrow and drag her away, though. Ser Wesely had fallen, as had Leandra, from the force of the ogre's charge and footsteps. [/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]Bethany left Sparrow next to her mother, and with sadness in her voice, she whispered, "Maker, give me strength..." She then ran to the beast, shooting it with fire. [glow=red,2,300]In only an instant, the ogre picked up the mage girl with a large hand, looked at her for half a second, then smashed her on the ground. Blood splattered from her shattered skull, leaked from scratches where the ogre's claws dug into her. Once more he smashed her to the earth below, and then again. Then he threw her to the side like a rag doll, and she landed onto the ground limply as blood lightly pooled around her "BETHANY!!" Leandra cried, sorrow and fear coating her voice along with tears. She ran to Bethany, turning her onto her back and trying to wake her up.[/glow] Garrett and Carver looked dead horrified, more so Garrett than Carver, as the older of the two looked paper white and as if he were about to cry a little. But he blinked it back and charged at the beast alongside Carver and Aveline, now extra determined to bring this certain darkspawn creature down. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]The ogre didn't seem happy with all the boulder throwing, ankle stabbing, or leg slashing. Which was basically all they were doing to it right now. Garrett was doing the ankle stabbing, and Carver was doing the leg slashing. Though that other templar had joined in and was also stabbing, but at the heel. That made the ogre angry. "Charming fellow, isn't he? I think I should ask him to a game of wicked grace, buy him a drink or two." Garrett said sarcastically as he stabbed the ogres ankle again and slashed just under it's knee. "Not now, Garrett!" Carver growled, slashing at its lower left leg. "There's always a time to lighten the mood Carver!" Garrett said before backing up a little bit and continuing, "I think it's getting weaker, keep stabbing it, I got this one on my own." [/glow]

[glow=brown,2,300] Carver nodded and stabbed the ogre's leg before looking to the templar boy that was with the mage girl. "I think you should go help her! More darkspawn are coming, and they'll be headed right for her. Maged aren't close up fighters... as you can tell." Carver told him before giving a sideways glance to Bethany and his mother. "Go." [spoiler=Sah'rel Lahalaan]
    [img width=510 height=504]https://40.media.tumblr.com/fd…mr6auNwb1tc9bn0o1_400.jpg[/img]
    Name: Sah'rel Lahalaan
    Class: Mage
    Origin: Dalish Elves, Lahalaan Clan
    Romance: Solas [/spoil]
    Color: [glow=navy,2,300] Navy Blue [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Garrett ran away from the ogre, just to get some running distance between them. "Carver! Stab it's knees!" He demanded, and got immediate results. Carver stabbed both the ogre's knees and the ogre roared in anguish. Now that it had weak legs, Garrett rushed it, jumping up and landing both his feet on his chest. He kept his balance as the ogre toppled over, stabbing it in the chest and twisting the blade of each dagger multiple times before repeating. To make SURE it was dead, Garrett shoved one final dagger into it's head. The ogre went limp and blood began to pool around it.

    Now... Bethany.

Carver looked at Garrett and softly began to speak, only managing to get, "She's..." To come out of his mouth. Garrett and Carver both went over to their mother and limp sister, getting followed by Aveline and Ser Wesley. "Bethany. Wake up. The battle's over! We're fine..." Leandra insisted.

"I'm sorry misstress... your daughter is gone.." Aveline told her calmly, looking over to her husband.

"No! Those things will NOT take Bethany!" Leandra insisted as Hawke knelt down next to his mother and dead sister. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]The clan. The clan didn't know this would happen. But why did it? What was going on? This wasn't what he signed up for when he agreed to be a spy at the Conclave. Where... where was he? Was this.. was this The Beyond? It was dark and dreary enough to be. He wondered aimlessly until he came upon two other figures that looked even a little elvish, maybe human... Could that be a qunari? No, no NO! He was just seeing things! But the figures, looking even a bit like his own, he HAD to go to them. To know what was happening. He ran to them. He found another elf, a familiar elf, no less, and a human. Both mages. "Sah'rel..." Sabrae said upon seeing her in a sigh of relief. He then turned to the human and asked, "Who... who are you..?" [/glow]

[glow=navy,2,300][font= times new roman]Sah'rel had woken up not too long ago. She'd just managed to stand up when she saw another girl next to her. A shemlen... oh boy. "Shemlen..? U-uh I mean miss... uh... miss something. Are you alright? Are you hurt? What's your name?" So many questions, so much confusion. Lack of social skills is what comes from being a keeper's first. But she'd live. After helping the shem up with no response given, she heard a friendly voice, a familiar one. "Sabrae! I didn't know you were here!" She smiled, hugging the elven man with joy and relief.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]With how Sah'rel was acting, Sabrae knew that he'd have to the talking. That wouldn't go well, in the end.

"I... I think so... I am Sabrae Levellan, and this is Sah'rel Lahalaan," He said, letting go of Sah'rel and looking around. But the looking? Not such a good idea. He gasped and pushed Sah'rel forward, shouting, "GO!" in an violent and demanding tone. So much so it scared to poor elf into doing as he said. He'd have to apologize but he was just as scared. So he was keeping up with her, almost being in front of her. [/glow]

[glow=limegreen,2,300][font=times new roman] People sized spiders were running at them, their beady eyes souless and unforgiving. They made awful screeching noises of hostility as they followed, keeping in close pace with the two elves and the human. They did not look like they would let them go so easily.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Carver looked to Sparrow and Crane as they made their way over, frowning a bit. He ripped off a strip of the bottom of his shirt and handed it to Sparrow, mumbling, "For your leg." Leandra simply looked at Crane as he spoke before her attention went to her son as he tried to help as well. "Maybe we should mourn later rather than now..." He spoke softly, looking at Bethany and knowing she would want them away from here as fast as possible. "Don't speak of me of grief! This is your fault! How could you let her charge off like that! My poor girl... My sweetheart.." Leandra yelled, her voice dropping to a whisper. Garrett looked hurt beyond belief and looked away from both Bethany and Leandra.

"If we stand here weeping, the darkspawn will get the rest of us too." Carver said, trying to point out that they should get going."

"Allow me to commend your daughter's soul to the Maker, mistress.." Ser Wesley said, stepping forward. Then he proceeded to put his right fist over his heart, reciting a prayer to those who died he had memorized by heart. Once he finished, Leandra whispered, "I will never forget you... Bethany..." Then Garrett spoke once more.

"At least father will have company now..." Garrett spoke softly, grabbing onto his own hand for a moment as if for comfort. Then he stood with Carver as Aveline said, "Flames! We're too late..." As darkspawn began to approach up the hill in a giant hoard. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300][font=times new roman] Before the darkspawn could get to them, atop the cliff behind them, a maroon colored dragon unfolded it's large wings, roaring up to the sky. Garrett and Carver stumbled a little as the roar shook the ground. It took off and breathed fire upon the land in front of them. The darkspawn burned alive, shrieking their horrid noises of pain and death. The dragon came back around and took one in her mouth full of fangs like daggers and flew straight up, dropping it once it was high enough in the sky it would die at it's collision with the ground. Then it came back down and landed, shrieking horribly to the sky in triumph before swinging it's tail to knock down any more living darkspawn and breathing fire at the darkspawn before it. Then, growling and standing on it's hind legs, it turned to them a little before shrieking again, a white light surrounding it until it was covered, shrinking to the ground until it was the shape of a woman. Hair white as snow, to strands tied back with maroon string to match the dragon's scales, eyes like liquid fire, moving towards them with swinging hips. She moved through the still burning fire, dragging a dead darkspawn behind her before dropping it where the flames burned hottest. Then she stopped before them,

"Well well... what have we here?" She spoke, smiling a bit.

Garrett and Carver moved over to her, Garrett taking the lead. He looked a bit unsure of what to do or say, but he was there. Carver looked back at the rest, causing Garrett to look too. He was confused, but honestly in awe. What an AWESOME trick! Turning into a dragon... he wanted to be a dragon... [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Horrible. Terrible. These shems had no regard for where they were, what they were doing... Though Maeron didn't want to kill them. Not ALL of them. If the other two were sent back they could tell the other shemlens not to go into their lands. "You've always been to kind to them, lethallin... fine. Run, before we change our minds." Tamlen said. The other two ran as Tamlen shot the other, the one who gave them the artifact from the ruins they spoke of with elven engravings, in the head with an arrow. "Come, Lethallin, let us find this 'cave'."

"Tamlen, it could be dangerous. What about the demon?" Maeron asked, looking to his friend. "You worry too much, Maeron! I'm sure it'll be fine. Besides, what about the culture? If this is truly from the ruins, then it could have all of our history in it." Tamlen exclaimed. With the excited look on Tamlen's face, and that endearing smile, he couldn't say no. So they went to the ruins, disabled a few traps and killed some spiders on their way. Tamlen had said the ruins looked human, and Maeron had agreed. They'd even found an elven statue in there. Though Tamlen looked at Maeron and said, "This place makes me nervous." "Then talk if that will help." Maeron said. "I suppose so... hey, weren't you supposed to help Master Varathorn at the forge today? Why aren't you there?" Tamlen asked. "I'd much rather spend my time with you, Tamlen." Maeron said with a small smile, and Tamlen seemed to get a bit flustered as he said, "Well.. I'm glad you did. Let's get going. I think I see something over there."

That 'thing over there' turned out to be a trap that spewed poisonous gas in a vibrant green color at them and summoned spiders. They killed those without difficulty then entered the door behind the trap. Then they saw a monster. Hideous and huge, covered in spikes with fangs that came out of it's mouth just to keep it closed. It roared at them, this bear like creature, and they had to attack it. It took a while, but it died, and in a horrified tone, Tamlen said, "By the Creators, what WAS that thing?!" Maeron shrugged, and moved away from the bear-like thing, and followed Tamlen up to the platform. "Look at this.. what do you think it i-- hey, did you see that?" He began. "Tamlen get away from that thing?" "Come on, I'll be careful... Look there it is again!" Maeron's lethallin exclaimed, pointing to the mirror. "Tamlen please...Don't touch that.." Maeron spoke as he saw a black dot ripple the mirrors surface.

He grabbed his friend's hand to try and hold him back but Tamlen's hand slipped through his fingers as he moved closer, and he started describing a scene, mystified. Maeron pleaded for him to stop and backed away himself, frightened, but just as he did, Tamlen reached out to touch the mirror, and Maeron had specifically told him not to. "I.. I think it saw me! Help! HELP! I CAN'T LOOK AWAY!!" Tamlen screamed, his body jerking in an attemtped to turn around and run. "TAMLEN!" Maeron screamed as he ran to the blond, but to no avail. A bright while light shot from the mirror, along with a force. And he remembered nothing after... [/glow]

[glow=brown,2,300] "Come Andromeda, we must find Maeron Mahariel. He was the son of this clan's previous keeper, and he is someone I believe will bring the Grey Wardens honor. I would like you to ask some of the Dalish hunters if they have seen him, as I do not see him in the area. He could be out hunting or wandering the forest." Duncan said, gesturing around before adding, "Do not be rude to the elves if they do not treat you kindly. They have a bad history with humans such as us. I will be speaking with the keeper, Marethari." With that, the Senior Grey Warden walked through the camp, talking up to an older elf clothed in gold and black, along with white thrown in a bit. [/glow]

[glow=navy,2,300]"They're not bastards! Their spiders!" Sah'rel yelled as she sprinted, trying to use her magic with her hands but finding it wasn't as strong as she needed it to be to fight the spiders. Being knocked out must have made her magic weaken. "Cruel spiders at that! None like I've ever seen!" She added.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]"Stop talking and MOVE!" Sabrae yelled, grabbing both of their wrists and tugging them forward, basically throwing them in front of him but making sure they stayed on their feet. He STILL managed to end up out running them once more, pointing to a steep set of stairs leading to a bright light. "THERE! GO THERE!" He shouted, going to it as well. He started climbing the stairs as if they were a ladder, as that's how steep they were.[/glow]

[glow=navy,2,300]Sha'rel stumbled a bit as she was pulled, but managed to get sure footing back in no time. She did as told once she saw the stairs and began to climb after them. But alas, one of the two spider jumped on her. She screamed bloody murder as she felt one leg touch her back (and she barely heard Sabrae calling her name in worry), but as it did, she felt her body sink into the stairs... When light returned, she was outside among burnt ground and rubble.. weird.[/glow]

[glow=limegreen,2,300]After Sah'rel was gone, the other spider jumped onto Sparrow, and she too sunk into the ground and appeared outside the fade.[/glow]

[glow=brown,2,300]After a quick conversation with the keeper, Duncan went back to Andromeda. As he did a hunter told her, "He went out this morning. Maeron went with Tamlen instead of going to work with Master Varathorn in the other clan to aid them in their troubles... but Master Varathorn was saying we were sending too many to help with the forges anyways, so I think it's alright. The clan is preparing to move... but we haven't seen Maeron come back yet. Why do you ask... do you know where he and Tamlen are? Are they hurt?"

The elven hunter was interrupted by Duncan, who put a hand on Andromeda's shoulder before speaking, "Thank you for your information. I will have Andromeda tell me on the way. We have urgent matters to attend to, and you have been good help. Maeron and Tamlen will hopefully be back soon, I assure you, though their condition is unknown until then." Duncan then gently pushed Andromeda to tell her to turn before walking away with her, and keeping voice low he said, "We must make haste. They have not been seen, and I sense the darkspawn taint nearby in the forest. The keeper has felt the dark magic as well, and Maeron may be in danger. Draw your blades and let us go." With that, Duncan unsheathed his sword and grabbed his shield, running into the forest with great urgency. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Behind them, Ser Wesely collapsed. Aveline carried him to a rock where she could prop him up and try and tend to him. Aveline looked to Sparrow and Crane for help as Garrett and Carver were busy confronting the dragon woman, and Leandra still would not leave Bethany's corpse by itself as she mourned. Garrett looked to them and was about to try and help before the woman interrupted.

"It used to be we never got visitors to the Wilds, but now it seems they arrive in hoards!" She exclaimed, smirking a bit.

"Impressive. Where'd you learn how to turn into a dragon?" Hawke asked, smiling. Carver rolled his eyes and crossed his arms as his older brother spoke.

"Perhaps I AM a dragon... If so, count yourself lucky. The smell of burning darkspawn does nothing for the appetite." The former dragon said, turning around and taking a few strides before continuing, "If you wish to flee the darkspawn, you should know you are heading in the wrong direction."

"So you're just going to leave us here?" Carver spoke in a slightly annoyed tone as he walked closer to the woman. The woman stopped and turned back to Carver and spoke once more.

"And why not?" She asked, before continuing, "I spotted a most curious sight: a mighty ogre, vanquished! Who could preform such a feat?" Me Garrett thought smugly in his head, but said no such thing out loud. Then the woman kept speaking as she moved back over to Garrett, "But now my curiosity is sated, and you are safe... for the moment. Is that not enough?"

"You could show me that trick of yours. That looks useful." Garrett suggested calmly, though in his head he reveled in the fact that he could turn into a dragon. [/glow]
