Rank ( A gem designated for combat, place in hierarchy, etc. ): A servant of gems who are of higher rank than her, but are of an overall low rank.
History ( optional ): Snow Quartz was formed only about twenty years ago. Since Snow Quartz gems are not of a great importance, and because Snow Quartz was a defective gem with a small frame, instead of a regular Quartz's large frame, she was sent to work for lower class gems, where she was sent to work for an Angelite. Oftentimes, Snow Quartz is looked down upon, not only because of her size, but because of her timidity and her inability to harm others, let alone, summon her weapon.
Personality: Snow Quartz is a meek, timid, and shy gem, who does what she is told without objection, due to being frightened. She is a typically harmless gem, who doesn't even know how to summon her weapon. Snow Quartz is mistrusting towards other gems, with is a feeling fueled by her fright of them, but if you manage to gain her trust, she will refuse to betray you. She is a very soft spoken gem, who rarely speaks, and is easily scared of many things that you ought not to be scared of. Snow Quartz is also very kind, being a pushover to her friends. However, she does hold grudges, and if you are to break that trust, then you aren't likely to be trusted again.

Looks ( Image, description, etc.): Snow Quartz is a small gem, about the size of Connie, with slender limbs, and long straight hair that curls at the ends. Her eyes are oval shaped, and are a misty gray color. Snow Quartz is a white colored gem, with her gem located on her forehead, in the shape of an oval. Her hair is an opaque, light silver color, with one streak of a semi transparent light gray. She wears a short, round sleeved gray dress, with a black belt, and a brilliant white diamond symbol on the middle of her belt. Her dress is decorated with mini white diamonds on her sleeves, and towards the bottom of her dress. She wears gray boots that just about reaches her knees, which also have a white diamond symbol on the very tops of them.
Other ( special abilities, etc.): If Snow Quartz was a human, than she would be around Connie's age.

A glowing figure started to materialize out of the wreckage. When the light cleared, a small Snow Quartz collapsed on to her knees, coughing softly. The crash had injured her, and she had been forced to retreat within her gem, that resided on her forehead.

Rain splattered down hard on the muddy ground, as four girls walked swiftly down the street. Wind tore at their clothing, as the girls continued on, looking for shelter.

"Where are we going to stay for the night?" Kira, the mind reader, asked timidly. She was a small girl for her age of 16, and her dark amber eyes flickered about nervously. Her pale figure flinched slightly from the cold, as a strong breeze whipped her waist length, wavy, platinum blonde hair around wildly. Kira pulled up her hood, and looked to her sisters for answers.

"Well, I don't know, but I really hope this wind continues! It makes me feel like we're still at home," Luma, the air manipulator, laughed happily. Unlike Kira, who had found the wind unwelcoming and distracting, Luma embraced it's force, and spread out her pale arms. Her white summer dress was quite unfitting for the cold climate of this dimension, but since when was the cold ever harmful to Luma? Luma giggled as her mahogany curls partly obscured her vision.

"Well, I don't," Astra, the time wielder, muttered, tucking a loose strand of straight golden brown hair with a slight wave towards the tips behind her ears. She had warm light brown eyes, and fair skin. "We should really find a proper place to stay, to prevent us from getting drenched." She looked at the last sister expectantly.

"We aren't going to get anywhere if you all don't move it," Twyla, the invisibility and telekinesis holder snapped coldly, her piercing deep blue eyes flashing. "I say we head over to the cluster of houses over to our left. I'm sure that someone in this mundane world will give us some shelter." Twyla's long, straight, inky black hair billowed around her, contrasting from her pale skin, as she started towards the houses. Her sisters followed, each one bending their heads to ward off the wind, save for Luma, who was still giggling and laughing with delight.

Luma was the one who noticed him first. She stopped laughing, and elbowed her sisters each in turn.

"Ow!" Cried Astra. "What the heck was that for?" She glared angrily at her sister, who, in turn, was looking innocently back at her.

"Well, I saw someone over there around the houses waving at us. Maybe he wants to give us shelter, or something," Luma replied.

"Seriously? If a random person just walks by and waves us over to their home, you're just going to trust them?" Astra laughed.

Twyla shook her head at her sister. "You're too mistrusting, Astra. Remember that this is a mundane world; what could hurt us? And even so, would you rather get soaked in the rain, and possibly catch an illness? Even people like us are not immune to everything."

"So you're saying that we ask that person for shelter?" Kira questioned.

"It's the best chance we have," Twyla shrugged, and made her way over to Dylan's house, her sisters following suit.

"Excuse us, but would you be willing to give us shelter for the night?" She asked.

Astra rolled her eyes, staying towards the back of the group. "Oh boy," she muttered.

"That sounds lovely," Kira smiled, taking hold of a towel. "Thank you."

The girls headed towards the bathroom, Astra still gazing suspiciously around the room. "Tell me why we're here again?" She asked. Her sisters ignored her, and proceeded to try themselves. Finally, Twyla spoke.

"This isn't our world. No one is going to hurt you again, so try to be sensible, and follow what we do," She said briskly.

"That doesn't mean we shouldn't take precautions, and I'm pretty sure not everyone in this world is all nice and kind," Astra replied stubbornly. "Hey, Kira, why don't you use your mind reading abilities to sense what our host is thinking?"

"Absolutely not!" Kira replied, shocked. "That would be incredibly rude of me."

Twyla shook her head at her sister, and asked, "Are you all done?" A chorus of agreements followed her question. "Alright, then let's go." She opened the door. "Alright, what should we do next?"

Personality: Harmony is a mentally strong unicorn. She isn't easily tricked, or easily intimidated. Harmony is great at detecting lies, and isn't easily bribed. She is mistrusting of others, but is friendly enough, and will sacrifice herself for the well being of others. Harmony doesn't believe in second chances, and has a low tolerance for stupidity. She prefers to think things through before making her decisions. The ponies who earn her trust, and become her friend, mean everything to her. Dreamcaster is not a school for the light hearted. It is also not a school for the insane. Dreamcaster is a school for magic, and a powerful one at that. My name is Princess Sunset Shimmer, and I am head of Shimmera house, one of the current houses here. Why " current?" Because, new houses get added alone as new alicorns make their appearances. That's right, new houses are made only when a new princess has come to control it. I dare say we will have a new house very soon! There are six current houses: Celebrian, Lunariel, Cadiera, Twilven, Shimmera, and Chryselvic. Each house represents a different trait and personality. Celebrian is for the brave, chivalrous, and daring, not afraid of most things and always up for a dare. They are the " Gryffindor " of Dreamcaster, and the head of Celebrian House is The High Princess Celestia. Yes, she is the " High Princess " because she is the headmistress of our school. Lunariel is for the cunning, shrewd, and tricky ones, highly ambitious and swift, and can succeed at anything they set their mind to. They are the " Slytherin " of Dreamcaster, and the head of Lunariel house is Princess Luna. Next up, Cadiera- Cai-Dee-AIR-uh- is the house of the creative, unique, downtoearth, and hard working. They are the equivalent to " Hufflepuff " and the founder is Princess Cadence. Twilven, Princess Twilight Sparkle's house, is home to the cleverest and most intelligent of the ponies at Dreamcaster. Ponies often get mixed up with Cadiera and Twilven because both are creative and smart. Twilven is the " Ravenclaw " at our school. Shimmera, my house, is home to those ponies that are unique. Ponies that have made mistakes but are working hard to improve themselves. These ponies don't go to Shimmera because they don't have the traits of the other houses, they often come here when they possess factors of ALL houses. Ponies in Shimmera have really sensitive emotions, and even some ponies emotions are ever changing! There's Grace Celf for example. She is the one I have the most sympathy for, because I can relate to her the most, and even feel sorry for her. She could belong in any house really, especially Celebrian because she had to face her many fears in life, but she eventually got into Shimmera because of her " different problem." Last, but certainly not the least, is Chryselvic. The house founded by Queen Chrysalis and Queen Nightmare Moon. Don't get in trouble with them, these ponies seem to be made out of pure darkness! Bat ponies, changelings, even Discord has been placed in this house. These ponies are evil, cruel, and full of hatred. They are also chaotic. Ponies that come here don't have to be evil, they just have to have one of the traits listed, like Grace Clef, who suffered from con emotions like hatred. She isn't evil, merely neutral. And Discord, he isn't evil, just chaotic. Oh silly me, I haven't even told HOW to get picked into a house! There is this mystical fountain. It tells which house you are in. The colors for each house are golden( Celebrian ), blue( Lunariel ), turquoise( Cadiera ), purple( Twilven ), red( Shimmera ), and green( Chryselvic- pronounced Chris-SELL-Vic-). The fountain will turn the color of the house when it decided which pony belongs in which house, to do this, the pony has to step up directly in front of the fountain and the other ponies have to stand back, to make it clearer. if the fountain stills and stops moving, the fountain is stuck. The pony is undecided. It will spend 3 days in each of the houses, and on the last day, the fountain will have decided which of the houses will you fit in the most. That was how Grace Clef was sorted. The fountain, in fact, was still for more than 20 days! If the fountain un-stills in the middle of this process, it will have decided which house you are in. In Grace's case, the fountain decided for two extra days. The maximum number of days the fountain has been stumped is 20 days. Hope to see you in Shimmera!
