    Reaching the outskirts, Xerxes took a deep breath. He loved the smell of the woods! Snapping back to reality quickly, the dark brown tabby nodded. "Yes sir, I know rabbit scent, as well as mouse scent. But that's it." he answered, his emerald optics gazing up at the tom.

    IC: With a shake of his head, the young Mortem answered his mentor's question. Xerxes had heard of badgers before, but has never seen them. The mammal's scent wafted weakly to him, making him scrunch his face in disgust. Badgers smelled horrible!

    IC: Xerxes nodded, taking in all his mentor had just explained. Noticing Autonomous crouched down, the trainee did the same, his heart racing in his chest. Tears sprang to his eyes from the strong badger scent, but Xerxes blinked them away lest they obscured his vision.

He watched them a moment longer before backing up next to Autonomous. "Do they ever come into the park?" he asked quietly, his gaze still locked on the horde of badgers.

    IC: Today was a good day. Xerxes was going to Prom with his crush, London. Although they had only met a few days ago, the young Mortem couldn't help but feel he was in love.




    Padding around the park, the dark brown tabby tom was in search of something nice to give to London at Prom. Sure he could go with a flower, but that didn't seem special enough. He wanted something that would last a lifetime. "Maybe a bracelet? Or a necklace?" he asked himself quietly, still looking around.
