Sage looked at the sun rising over the horizon out her office window with glazed eyes. PHOTOSYNTHESIS... PHOTOSYNTHESIS... The same word had been going through her mind the whole night. She blinked awake from her trance, her eyes coming to life. She stood up and grabbed a brush from her vanity, combing it lightly. She changed into a more proffesional outfit from the short nightgown she had rested in. She chose a dark green suit that made her look taller than she already was. Next, she put on an earthy brown tie, but she still looked very feminine. She pulled her outfit together with strappy heels the same color of her tie. Ruby stood up and sauntered outside, enjoying the brisk breeze that was on the other side of the heavy school doors. The yard was quite large, and was beautiful. There were gardens and fountains, there were ponds and trees, and it felt very calm. She sat under a tree and opened up a book.

Ali stood on the edge of a pond, and fell to her knees. She could feel the water seeping into her legs. That water was no ordinary water. It was weird... and she started to lay down in it. Nothing but the tip of her nose and a few strands of her blond hair stuck out from underneath the surface of the water.
