Seakawk woke as he heard a queen desperate wail. What now? he thought blearily as he stumbled out of his makeshift nest. He padded toward the cry when he saw a turkey run by. With a kit. a kit???
Seahawk did a double take. Why on earth was a turkey stealing a kit? turkeys weren't meat eaters. The dark brown tabby sprinted after the turkey. either way a turkey was dangerous for a kit.

Once the apprentice had snatched the kit out of the turkey's vice, Seahawk lunged beneath the tukey, kicking and slashing it's underside. Rolling out of the way of its large feet, he slammed against it's flapping wings, claws slashing. It gave a panicked gobble by the sudden loss of the kit and attack that it retreated into the trees.
Turning to the tree Midnight had retreated to he looked up at the apprentice, "Is that kit okay?" he asked.

Seahawk dipped a paw into the river. The water was cold, so icy it made his paw buzz with a coming numbness. He purred. It wasn't the sea, but it was close enough for him. The dark brown tabby dove into the freezing water. He swam diagonally across the current and sprang out of the water onto a rock that was sticking out of the river. he shook the water from his fur, showering the air with cold droplets. he breathed in deeply, taking in the chilly clean feeling. He'd missed this.

Seahawk yawned and looked about he saw a cat drown a turkey further upstream. Curiously he plunged back into the water and swam strongly over to the bank. He leaped out and shook his wet fur, before walking over to where the she-cat was hanging it on a tree.
he smiled and meowed, "You know, I think that was the most interesting way i think i've ever seen a turkey killed."

The dark tom lost interest in the she-cat as she ate the turkey, apparently she didn't want to talk with him. The tabby padded back over to the river and watched the swift water silently. His tail twitched slightly and suddenly his forepaw snapped out across the water. he skillfully snatched a fish from the water and slapped it onto the bank.

Seahawk stopped at the border of the river clan cats territory. He glanced back at the trees and smiled. These cats weren't as bad as he thought. Maybe he'd come back to visit Lilytail sometime. But he had somewhere to be. He owed his brother a visit.

Seahawk padded away from the clan territories. He was headed south. Then he'd travel on a boat until he could find the right dock. Ah, the docks. He smiled as he thought of his home. Then his blue eyes darkened as he thought of his sister, and his brother. he'd need to face his brother. Seahawk shook his damp fur and padded past the broken turkey pen. He started to run as he went. Personally he didn't want anymore run ins with those irritating turkeys.

[br]I am a handsome, but scruffy-coated tom with a mischievous gleam in my eyes and a limp of the right front leg. I am very sensitive to criticism, but I have a way of being two steps ahead of most other cats.
    [br]My half-brother mysteriously disappeared when I was a kit.
