A yellow glow illuminated the hood and a yellow eye stared at them before the creature faded into the dark and there was silencethe glow from the stone remained

IC: Rose hardly noticed the building had faded away, she gave him a hard look "are you alright?..."

IC: Rose shuffled behind him to the cabin

IC: Rose admired his home and thought back to her childhood home; It was colder, the rooms were larger, and it was almost always empty. Her sister would always find her hiding somehow, and be kind to her. But when Rose started going off to school, hanging out with her own friends, her sister would get jealous and force her to stay home, and torture her but still be kind.
Rose snapped back to reality, and glanced over at Lance

Rose sat down in a chair across from him -

IC: Rose sat thinking
"What could keep them? We destroyed the stones, so it should've worked. right?" -

IC: "everything's still out of balance...i wouldn't be surprised really. Maybe we should take a break, rest a bit, and see what happens. I wouldn't be astonished if my sister ended up finding out where we are. Or the others . "
Rose stared at the wall
"Do you think, that everything we've done, that those are the right things?" -

IC: Rose smiled " love you too, sleep well." she watched him go to his room and then turned to look out the window.
After a few hours, Rose was drifting asleep when a shadow outside caught her attention
Rose stood up slowly and shuffled over to the window, putting a hand on the glass nervously -

IC: Rose silently stood watching, anxiety washing over her. "Evangeline...."
The shadow had gone, so Rose went back to sitting and dozed off
