Cybertron, the Beginning of the War...
"I, am Optimus Prime, and I promise to put an end to this tyranny."
"Well then, Optimus, why don't you give it a try." Megatron taunted, his jagged battle blade sliding out from around his arm-cannon. Optimus unsheathed his newly applied battle blades and crouched.
"One shall stand-"
"One shall fall." Megatron laughed. Optimus stood and ran toward the gladiator, parrying with him.
The battle continued relentlessly until Megatron finally had Optimus is his grip, at his mercy. Of course, he had none. He had just killed dozens of innocent Cybertronians.
"You won't win." Optimus said as he tried to get Megatron to release the energon cables in his neck. "You'll never win."
"Maybe I will, once you're-"
"Dead!" somebot called. Optimus took the momentary distraction to embed his blade into Megatron's gut, causing him to release the Prime, and backed up. Megatron growled and staggered back.
"I will rule all, Orion, I will." he said, transforming and flying away. Optimus finally relaxed and turned to see the bot who shouted had been his good friend, Prowl.
"Thank you Prowl."
"It's only the beginning." Prowl said. "Megatronus is tougher than anybot we know."
"I know." Optimus said, sadness lacing his voice. Before him lay the wreckage of a small settlement, once teeming with life, now barren. He looked toward the horizon. "Assemble allies. We have a war to win."
"Till All Are One." Prowl said.
"Till All Are One..."
