Willowpaw shook her head, her eyes facing two different directions for a moment. Then she blinked and they were normal again. "I ate a frog once. Do fish taste like frogs? Frogs are kinda tangy, with a stronger taste than mouse."

(Moonstruck guided them back to camp, then returned to the void, and when they got back they got punished to clean the elder's den, and they decided to ask the elders about Moonstruck.)

Moonstruck cleared her throat a little, "Have you, uh, made a nest for me yet?" She asked. She normally talked to the cats the same way they talked to her, with anger and hate, as if their life was a game. But, during Void checks, she had to be kinder, or she would be kicked out.

(Don't. She's mean to them, too!)

Moonstruck sighed. Pushing herself to her paws, she huffed and puffed her way to the nest, pushing the stone ahead of her. Glancing around, she pushed the stone as close to the wall as she could, then went to go and collect some moss, to bolster her skimpy nest, and brambles to give herself some privacy. She didn't like the glares she seemed to constantly receive from her temporary clanmates.

(I HAVE AN IDEA. How about Pinefrost guards her at night, because everyone is afraid she's gonna do something. So he's appointed the task of keeping eye on her that night?)

Willowpaw stretched her paws toward the mouse. "Can I eat that?" Her voice was a squeak, not really a meow. "I've neva tried that before!"

Nightgaze clamped her paw on her tail, giving the kit a scolding look.

"Sorry." Willowkit sat and looked at her paws.

"Yay!" Willowkit bounced slightly, racing over to Nightgaze, "When can I try some moose?"

Nightgaze purred, "'Mouse,' dear. Not moose."

Nightgaze was her adopted mother, they had found Willowkit very young, eyes closed, alone and cold. Nightgaze had been orphaned due to a fire, but all the clan knew was that she had found alone, the smell of smoke clinging to her black coat.

Kindlefur, a gray and white dappled she-cat with golden eyes, was stretched outside the elders den, warming her belly in the sun. She was snoring softly. Grizzleclaw, her mate, a large, mottled dark brown tom with green eyes with yellow flecks, was gently washing her ears. He was still a warrior, and had many fresh scars to prove it. He was a strong fighter, and thick pelted as well.

Grizzleclaw was never one for complements, but he gruffly admitted it was a good catch, then nudged Kindlefur awake so she could eat.

Willowkit took the meat in her mouth, chewing noisily. "Yummy!" She mewled, swallowing. "Can I have another one?" She looked pleadingly at Nightgaze. Nightgaze purred.

"No, dear, you need your rest. You tired yourself out opening your mouth so wide chewing like that!" She teased, curling around a yawning Willowkit, "When you wake, you will have some."

Solarflare, a sleek orange-yellow tom with amber eyes, was cleaning his tail when he noticed Echotail. He didn't know her very well, but thought she was kinda pretty. Iceheart, a clever, small, quick white she-cat with light blue eyes and sharp claws, slid out of the warriors den, stretching. Her long, slightly plumy tail shivered as she arched her back.

Solarflare turned, smiling, "I've wanted to meet you, though! I'm Solarflare. And you're, Echotail, right? You're a brilliant hunter!"

Iceheart licked a paw and drew it over her ruffled face fur. Shaking the sleep from her mind, she padded to the freshkill pile to pick a piece of prey. Picking a pigeon, she padded to a spot beside the warriors den and began eating.

(Oh my god, at first I put there 'began eats.' WHAT THE CRUD, BRAIN?!)

Iceheart lifted her head, a bit surprised, "Sure! If I keep eating at this rate, I'm going to be too fat to hunt!" She joked.

Solarflare glanced at the heap of freshkill on the pile. "Want to share something?" He asked. He liked her... a lot. She was nice and kind, not to mention beautiful.

Softfeather, a semi-long haired, pale cream she-cat with a dark colored tail, was stretched out in the sun, warming her belly. Iceheart munched a finch beside her, her white pelt glittering like snow, her clear, light blue eyes not missing anything.

Nightgaze, a black, orphan she-cat with dark blue eyes, slid out of the warriors den. Her pelt sparkled with sunlight, like captured stars. Taking a small mouse from the freshkill, she sat beside Softfeather and Iceheart, nodding a greeting.

Softfeather sat up, "Yeah! It would be interesting to watch a training scuffle! C'mon! Do it for the she-cats!" She swept her tail over to where Nightgaze and Iceheart sat.

Iceheart lifted her head, "Well, Miss Lazy, I would like to join the scuffle! I feel like I'm slowing down!" Her small frame rippled with muscles. She was not that strong, but her claws were quick and sharp. Speed was one of her few advantages in a fight.

Willowwhispers, a rambunctious, tan tabby she-cat, stretched, trotting over to the freshkill. Selecting a pigeon, she trotted to a place beside the warriors den. With a happy lick of her lips, she began eating.

Nightgaze, a black she-cat, watched her for a moment, before nuzzling her ear, "I'm so proud of you, my little warrior." She had adopted Willowwhispers when they found the abandoned rouge kit.

Standing, Nightgaze trotted off, slipping out of camp, as though she wanted to hunt alone.

    (A short explanation:)

Moonstruck is a red, (as in blood color) winged she-cat with grey flaming eyes, who is hated because her job is to make sure cats who get lost stay lost or find their way and trees that kill cats fall. Her job is to control the strings of fate; the strings fate are in the void, where you go when you die, if you're gonna be reborn. The void is the place separating the world of the living and the world of the dead. The Void will constantly stay strong if she doesn't mess with the strings of fate. But, cats hate her because she refuses to budge, not sparing lives.

    What they don't realize...

Is that they are about to push her too far...

And when she is pushed too far,

The Void dissolves. If it dissolves, there is nothing, nothing, separating the two worlds.

    And that has deadly consequences.
