"In your dreams Foxhearts!" Nightflower spat, dodging Darkpaws blow, raking both him and Mayflower across the flank with her claws. "I'll DIE before i ever take part in any clan of yours! Why dont you go back to your prey barren territory and die there, unless you want us to do it for you! Which we GLADLY will!" She hissed, a sick grin ripping across her fur bristled face as she imagined tearing out the Shadowclan cats' throats.

Nightflower thought she saw a flicker of uncertainty in Maypaw and Darkpaw's eyes as the Thunderclan cats began to assemble, but they must've blinked it away before she could be sure. "so.... kit..." Nightflower snarled. "We wouldnt let you leave without a fight whether you want to or not." she hissed, slinking forward.

Nightflower shook her head angrily. "Its not us who have been in the wrong here! You attacked an innocent camp for greed! And you continue to blame us? Have you fox-hearted traitors show nothing for the warriorcode!?" She yowled. Every cat fell silent as she went on. "Is this really what our warrior ancestors want?"

Nightflower looked over at Sunshine and gave her a brief nod. Where was Yellowstar? "Attack!" Nightflower yowled and launched herself into the mass of Shadowclan cats.

Nightflower paused for a heartbeat, staring at Tigereye in gratitude, then threw herself back into battle.

"Thunderclan will always be one! Thunderclan will always be strong!" Nightflower yowled above the battle. Meows of agreement rose into the air. Nightflower felt such triumph! She couldnt wait to be clan leader someday. She jerked away from her thoughts lashing her tail and swiping her claws at a Shadowclan she-cat.

"Windclan will never fight beside you!" Nightflower hissed. "Have you forgotten when you drove them out of thier camp? They actually have some respect for the warrior code!" She growled, crouching, flattening her ears. She lashed her tail furiously and aimed a blow to his flank.

((sunflower, you didnt start anything, we all started the fight. and also: right on Tigereye! ))

Nightflower shook Shadowclan blood from her muzzle and aimed a final swipe at a Shadowclan tom as he raced out of the camp.

"Fox-heart!" Nightflower yowled and leaped onto Whisperwing.

"why?" she said, jittery. "roseleaf? shes back at camp, why?" dreamflight tensed. "you dont......." she trailed off

Many moons ago, her ex-mate, Pineclaw had fallen in love with Roseleaf and left Dreamflight. Pineclaw died later, in a battle with Riverclan. Dreamflight stopped and scooted closer to Brambletail. "Im sorry." She murmured "I trust you."
