[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Maylene resisted the urge to say anything, watching the whole scene from a very short distance away. The names being tossed around she didn't necessarily know of - especially the identity Paloma. That one was completely new to her, due to her recent joining.

Tilting her head to the side ever so slightly, her olive visionaries continued to observe the scene as she sat quietly.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"Its when you sort of look like someone else. But not completely, you know?" Maylene attempted to explain, looking up at Cinemapaw before pressing up against his dappled figure. The feline grinned in hello before looking back at Destruction, her grin shifting into a friendly smile.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"Hm?" Maylene murmured, hearing his calls quite easily. She knew immediately who it was - Serpentine's voice was very recognizable, to her. The femme frowned a bit, not knowing why he couldn't just say May like he started with. However, she shrugged it off quite easily; such things didn't matter.

Her white-dipped paws lead her steps over to the deputy, and before she knew it, the young lady was sitting down in front of him. "What is it, Serp?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]May barely arched her nonexistent eyebrow, feeling a bit suspicious when he wouldn't be too specific when it came to this 'somewhere'. However, she tried to push any sort of feeling like that away; though she barely knew him, she was always finding odd amounts of trust in Serpentine. He wouldn't do something bad, now would he?

Her ears sort of jerked towards him in a way after hearing that he discovered this place. Did that mean no one knew of it besides him? The very thought had Maylene curious. Besides, even if it was always in the form of surprise, she considered the time spent with the deputy to be quite enjoyable. The first tier's eyes rolled when he mentioned squeamish. Squeamish, her? Bullshit, that is.

    "I'm willing to go, mhm."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Maylene's ears had caught and heard her name once or twice. Obviously, someone was trying to summon her. She registered the voice as one belonging to the king cheetah who happened to be her boyfriend, but when she got there . . . Why was there this person she didn't recognize and Cinemapaw's body in a corner?

The femme's fur bristled and she gave him a stern and threatening look, not knowing it was really her little (well, not so little - he was larger than her) Cinny. "What the hell did you do? Who are you, even?" May hissed, glaring at him with piercing olive orbs.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"How can I believe -" Maylene cut herself off, something just telling her this was him. What was the point of even asking, then? Scolding herself for being stupid, the first tier pressed against him gently before he stepped back.

Her olive visionaries could be seen moving slightly, examining his new body. She smiled softly, "I love your eyes, Cinny. You're so handsome, really . . ." May murmured, her tone a gentle whisper.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"Oh hush, you," May rolled her eyes, sitting down softly. "Yeah, I like them a lot. One is a lovely shade of blue, the other is brown. Gorgeous, they are." she purred, going without blinking for a moment or so as she admired them. Maylene found the pair of heterochromic quite interesting, indeed.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Maylene nodded but had trouble starting to follow him at first, a bit hesitant. Did he just want another damn cuddling session or something? Bluh. However, soon enough, she found herself following quite silently. The whole time she trailed behind him, she wondered what this little deal of Serp's was about - where were they even going?

Arriving, May was once again intrigued at the sight of his den. Such a interesting (and cool) place in her opinion. Serpentine probably knew her feelings towards all his trinkets, poisons, pelts, and other stuff; she was full of questions the first time she entered the place. The feline watched him plop down and drift off to sleep, staring at him for a few minutes. Was it the wise thing to do, even go over there?

If it was the wise thing or not, Maylene slowly walked over and laid down next to the tom. Oh gosh, how she loved the feel of the soft fur that belonged to the Maine Coon; so warm, it was. Blinking for the last time before going to sleep, she had to actually suppress the urge to snuggle up to the guy. Before she knew it, May was knocked out and dozing.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"Ah, sure." she mewed, taking a few steps and brushing past him. Maylene wasn't sure if it ruffled his coat or not, but she didn't care either way; besides, a sort of scruffy look could always be handsome, in her opinion.

"Lead the way, Cinny." she purred, immediately finding it great they were close to the same size. He was still slightly larger, but was still closer to her size than before. It was strange; May loved having him bigger than her so she was easy for him to just wrap around and such, but she also enjoying being around the same height and such as Cinemapaw.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"Oh wow," Maylene said softly, examining the now dead feline. "Good job, mhm." The she-cat flashed Illuminatedpaw a smile in congratulations, taking note of how much skill she had. Though she wouldn't dare admit it publicly or aloud, May found herself sort of impressed.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"I'll listen, might take a few with me to tell some other time - pass them down." mewed Maylene, padding over with two white paws leading her steps. Her pads pressed down lightly, not a single sign behind her showing that she was there. Oh, how she loved a good thrill like the one scary stories would provide.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Every once and awhile Maylene would slow down a bit, waiting till she was right next to him to bump into Cinemapaw playfully, chest rumbling in a rather distinct purr. It was so weird, to her, having him not tower over her as they walked or travel faster.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]ooc ; oMF IM SORRY
    this thread keeps on getting buried in my others and just asdfghjkl;

ic ; Maylene rolled her eyes at his teasing words, this action just as playful. "It ain't exactly hell, but . . . Its better than where I was. Water dried up there; that is where drove me over here - the search for water, basically." It was quite true, what she was saying. The first thing she had done to her tour was practically demand to get to something that'd satisfy her painful thirst.

"I'm adjusting rather well, really. Growing onto this place faster than I expected and or thought," she admitted honestly, shrugging. "Serpentine's a big help. He's sort of like . . . er, my best friend, in ways? Cinemapaw is helping me feel at home, too."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Maylene was pinned down easily, not even trying to resist. Maybe it was because she was afraid she'd hurt him or something; something she'd hate to do no matter what. Maybe she was a little lady most of the time, but she still had some skills when it came to fighting, after all. Blinking as she looked up at him, she tried to suppress a grin.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Maylene had a sheepish look appearing on her face in no time. The lovely femme turned - no, yanked - her head in some other direction, lucky that her fur was hiding the warm blush that blossomed on her cheeks. For some odd reason, speaking of her romance life had her sort of worked up. This wasn't normal for May; maybe it was just because Coppermine was a new person to her.

"Why yes," she answered quietly, [b]"We are."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"I . . . I love you, too," she purred, her words not sounding like they were forced like they were. For some odd reason, something was forbidding her from saying the simple sentence - her other feelings getting in the way. May however went on, touching her nose to his yet again before licking his muzzle affectionately.
