[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Summoning a smile quickly, she gave Amour a nod. "Do you know what you want? Any sort of designs or something?" May asked, olive visionaries blinked. She looked down at her colors, as if trying to tell her there was a lot to choose from via actions. "Feel free to think for a minute, mhm."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Maylene cocked her head to the side a bit, arching a non-existent eyebrow. "Why is that, hm? You're a big sweetie, you are." she purred, giggling slightly. To be honest, she didn't suspect him to be so happy like this - who knew just a simple two words of agreement could make a guy so gleeful.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"Me? Into Serpentine?" she repeated, giggly right after. However, now that she thought about it; maybe she was a bit into the guy, maybe she wasn't. Maylene made herself assume it was just because of his badass or 'bad to the bone' appearance that had her thinking this way. There was no way - she thought - that she could have a crush on the deputy or something. After all, wasn't he a bit rude at times? Or at least, to her.
Ever since he learned she wasn't Alaska, Serp was a bit more of an ass to her than to the others. That was how it was in the femme's opinion. Even after their little . . . er . . . cuddling session. Recalling that moment that was part of their "tour" was enough to actually get her to blushing, face warm.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"I swear, Cinny! That isn't funny -" she protested, but soon just cut her self off. Maylene had noticed his grin, deciding to maybe try and use it to change the subject. The she-cat rubbed against the king cheetah, rumbling with a rather quiet purr. "Whats up with the grin, hm?"
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"Cinny? Why cant you tell me?" Maylene asked, looking up at him with her olive visionaries. It was just a simple question; why couldn't she receive an answer? Her gaze shifted back down, focused on her moving white paws.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Maylene frowned. "What about us?" she murmured quietly, trying to suppress her ears from going back or something. They weren't exactly perked now, but they were pinned, either - more like . . . in between. The she-cat looked up at him again, almost with some sort of pouty face.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"Oh, hello, Coppermine." Maylene's voice greeted, feeling the air as she approached. Two white paws leading each step for a few paces, she sat down a small distance away from the tom. She hadn't ever really talked to the guy, only seen him around and or heard of him. Didn't Serp know him quite well, too?
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Maylene was just taking a stroll through one of the caves, minding her own business - not bothering anyone or being bothered herself. It was nice, the quiet and serenity; that is, until she heard something.
Her ears swiveled around at the noise, pink flower shifting around a bit with one of her listeners. The noise . . . it sounded like shifting rocks, actually. It grew louder, and suddenly, she heard a pebble land right next to her with some sort of muffled tap sound. Then another. What the hell was going on?
Before May could even think about it, a whole 'shower' of rocks came down. It barely missed anything important, like her head or legs, or body, but it still landed on something - her tail. The lovely femme let out a blood-curdling scream, feeling all this force crushing it. "SERPENTINE!" she yowled painfully, trying to summon the first one that came to mind.
By now her tail was, actually, barely hanging on. The bone had done been smashed, and now, only fur kept it together. Panicked olive orbs looked back at the rock - the damn thing, too large to move. She'd have to . . . well . . . pull herself out.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"N-NO! Stay, Serpentine - please!" the she-cat cried, tears spilling out of her olive visionaries freely. They were like a stream now from all the pain she was facing, really. Maylene closed her eyes tightly, wincing at the prongs of hurt that stabbed at her insides and tail.
May was pretty tough little lady - but even this was enough to have her sobbing, enough to show that even her high pain tolerance couldn't handle this. Her throat stung with her tears, and so did her eyes, too. "I beg you," the first tier coughed, practically feeling like choking on her tears.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"Nothing, Cinny . . . We're just friend, alright? I promise nothing is happening between us or some shit," she assured him, her sandpaper-like tongue licking him on his spotted shoulder. May was lying, but only because she didn't want to hurt Cinemapaws feelings - wasn't that the right thing to do?
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"I'm Maylene," she informed the tom, giving him a polite dip of her head. "Seen you around, figured I might as well talk to you." Maylene meowed with a stretch, keeping her watery orbs of olive hue on Coppermine the whole time. Straightening up, she titled her head to the side. "If its alright, that is."
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"What do you mean by weird, hm?" Maylene asked with a slight tilt of her head, approaching the two with light and quiet steps. With the "bright colors" Nebulapaw was seeing, she'd probably come up as a yellow or red - some sort of warmish color to show her body heat.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Maylene had no darn idea when the plane ha crashed here, so when she came across it walking on the hot sands - she was more than just surprised, really. "What the hell is this?" she muttered, staring at it for a minute. She had never seen such a thing before!
Approaching it rather cautiously, she immediately noticed it wasn't alive. Though, that didn't mean she shouldn't keep her guard up. "Hello?" May mewed and called, tinkering around the once-flying cargo carrier.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"What do you got here, hm?" Maylene asked, cocking her head ever-so slightly to the side. With the simple action her pink flower moved the teensiest bit, its movement barely noticeable. Her olive visionaries could be seen eyeing the items; she loved the look of the antlers, especially the painted ones. Then there was the pelts and furs - she knew Serpentine had a thing for them. Maybe she'd get him one, if she could.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"Serpentine?" she said again, this time her voice having a much more questioning tone to it. There were so many things to ask him; he was a interesting and intriguing being, that was for sure. May actually shuddered slightly at his touch, just not used to it at all. First cuddling session and it was with a total badass - behold, the bragging rights.
Blinking for a moment, to her surprise, she found herself scooting closer to the deputy. This had to be the most comfortable she'd ever been. The marvelous fur of the Maine Coon made everything absolutely perfect, it seemed. Cozy, warm . . . snuggly. It was great. "How'd you get your scars, hm?" Maylene inquiried, coming yet again closer than before.
She stretched out her front legs, not moving or standing but while just laying there. The comfy atmosphere this moment was providing actually had her feeling tired, like she could go asleep right beside Serpentine. When the femme thought she had gotten enough shocks for the situation, she realized she was purring. Fucking purring. Her chest was rumbling with the noise, practically.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Maylene turned herself over, now facing the tom. "They don't make you look disgusting," she told him, her voice sounding true as true could get. There was no way she could sound as if she was lying by another set of ears, because, well, she wasn't. "I . . . I like them. They show that you got a story - no, stories - to tell, hm?" Her head moved barely in a nod, agreeing to her own statement.
The she-cat reached out a white-dipped paw to gently touch the spot where his face had been ripped off, "You aren't a freak though. Your scars make you more interesting, Serpentine - you aren't boring to look at." May mewed quietly, knowing he'd hear her just fine from how close they were at that moment. "I like them, and I mean it when I say it. I'll prove it, too; any little shit that insults you about them or stares rudely, I'll be ripping their sorry-ass tongues out and sinking a nice pair of claws into their damn pupils."
Oh, and then she remembered. The deputy's painful burns. "How are your burn wounds doing?" the first tier asked him, "I hope they aren't hurting still."
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]She nodded, "Yeah. Joined quite recently - it feels like I've been here forever, though." Maylene dipped her head politely at his next words, "Thank you, Coppermine. Hopefully I'll be able to make a nice conversation, hm?"
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"I'm up for a game," mewed miss Maylene, approaching the few who had came to play with two white paws leading her steps. This would be fun and a nice break; maybe even something she could use to release the small bit of stress she was feeling.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]Of course, her olive visionaries were going to see blush blossom on one side of his face in 'bouquets'. Maylene actually giggled a bit, shifting her paw, one of a pair that looked like it was dipped in white paint, a bit on his scarred face as she felt it get a bit more warmer than before. "You're cute when you blush, man. Big bad Serpentine, so adorable when he's got heat flooding his cheeks."
However, she decided not to tease him long or anything, seeing she had other things to respond to. "I'm going to assume you'll know who to call if any of those things happen, alright? Alright." May nudged the guy with her over white paw, the one that was currently in use until then. "Good to hear you appreciate it, but Serp, you don't need to give me a thanks."
The corners of the felines mouth tugged and upturned a bit more, "That is good to hear! If you got pain, I can help out - I can take away pain, surprisingly. I didn't know me, of all people, would have some ability like that." she admitted with a shrug, but then her face suddenly went silently more . . . serious. "Now, don't you go calling your actions stupid! I'm happy to hear you weren't some pansy-ass who just wanted to watch that damn fire spread. No, you got off your behind and tried to put it out! Thats bravery, mister Serpentine - something that isn't a synonym of stupidity!"
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=8]"Who do you got there, hm?" Maylene asked, olive orbs getting a good look at the youngster. The king cheetah immediately reminded him of Cinemapaw, or Cinny, her boyfriend. The thought was enough to help the gal summon a smile.
