[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=7pt]Maylene was doing a border patrol on her own, not really spotting anything until she stumbled across some weirdo NPC. She couldn't tell where he had came from; all sort of enemy scents came off the guy. Maybe he was a clan hopper - she accepted the idea with a shrug before the tom came rushing towards her, obviously with dark intentions.
Well, once more she would be doing one of her once rather famous telepathic kills. Simple, really - or atleast, for her it was. May made the clan-hopper hallucinate to where he was seeing her signature crows, thousands of them, and then all at once they dive-bombed him. The unreal feathered foes (in the NPC's case) pecked and pecked, making it appear as if his guts were being ripped out however he was somehow alive. That of course wasn't the case. As the creep passed out from hallucinations and their gore she simply walked up, nicking the jugular with a claw and "hmph."
Maylene walked off as a puddle of red grew under the tom, heading back to the ruins.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=7pt]"Thank you," Maylene murmured to their praise, quickly dismissing the rest of it with a flick of her bobbed tail. Ah, and of course here came Ululare - it was like he had a special way of knowing she was out and about. Lack of flowers? Was that what told him? "Yes, I still do like my flowers. And I see you still like acting - acting like an asswipe that was pissed on, that is. But no matter, I can say seeing you is oddly tolerable."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=7pt]Maylene was to work up a smile at the sight of her son, now a Centurion from what she had heard, however it vanished when he asked who she was. Ah, it was indeed an ever-increasing painful moment for her. "Yes," she quietly said, "I am Maylene, your mother." The femme could remember when he was young and much smaller, all over the place, and she'd show up just to give him a nudge and embarrass him like every parent did. But it was obvious he must not.
Another thought now on her mind was that Ululare had more shit to spew from his mouth now. Darn. What would it be? What would he come up with to try and piss her off once more? Oh well, she'd probably find out.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=7pt]"CINEMA VALERIUS NOCTE-MAESTUS CORAVON MURHA!" What a mouthful. However, this mouthful was spoken by miss Maylene, but not in her usual soft voice. "You better back away from her, young man, and plop your damn ass right here." The femme motioned the serval to the spot next to her, gingerly patting the ground with a white paw. "We don't need another Sculptor being unleashed." May was stern as she glared at him with piercing olive eyes, waiting.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=7pt]"You don't need to ask, Cinema. You know why - and you know what will happen if you don't." Her eyes never moved, never flickered away. Maylene had her sights locked on him without no fear whatsoever. "Get over here and calm down, you hear? I won't repeat myself." Maylene's ears slowly traveled back until they were pinned against the fur that lined her skull, stump of a tail lashing back and forth.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=7pt]"Apologize to this young lady," she ordered, an angry scowl plastered onto her maw. She was ready to whack him right on the head but she refrained, burning holes through him as Maylene stared. "Don't think that makes this over, however. I'll talk to you in private in regards to this, you hear me, Cinema?" The femme stamped a paw on the sand, bobbed tail up in the air.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=7pt]Maylene was relaxing on part of the foundation of the ruins, the flat but stone surface taking in the heat just perfectly to make it warm. It was pretty comfortable as she flickered her bobbed tail along with one ear, white front paws crossed neatly. Cinema was lucky; today she felt rather peaceful, putting chewing him out on hold.
Unlike usual her single pink flower was not to be found behind her ear. Instead a beautiful white flower crown rested on her head; it was something she wore on her wedding day. May sported it now because it reminded her of Serpentine. Thinking of him made her happy just like his presence did, too.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=7pt]ooc ; sorry about the late reply : (
ic ; She'd been looking for him. She hoped things would return to before with her son just now remembering her, as painful as that was. Maylene however would still love him dearly, and even if she was inactive, would be there for him just like she was with Yukine when he was going through his personal issues. The beautiful femme had been trekked the arid desert in such of her child, coming to a lurching stop when she spotted him on the warm rock.
Maylene's bobbed tail flickered as she slinked over, quietly sitting down beside Baccalaureate but not too close. This was like just meeting - she knew him however he didn't know her. It made her heart ache as she let out a soft greeting, "Hello."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px][justify][size=7pt]It was painful to stand there, hard to not lose it all. Maylene sat there, olive eyes focused on her white paws. She knew he wouldn't come back like before - no, this time things felt... different. The femme was all sniffles as tears trailed down her cheeks, refusing to look at anyone. He was gone, gone for good. She was alone.
The light in her life had went out. May felt emptiness, sadness, and all the same helplessness. Her husband, beloved and wonderful, had passed - coping seemed impossible. It felt like all she could do was cry and sob, hide herself from the prying and prodding world.
Around her neck was her key necklace from their wedding day. Quietly Maylene lifted up a paw to feel it, finally just grasping it and squeezing her visionaries shut as she tried not to break down in front of everyone.
