Equius sat bolt upright. He looked around, growling softly. His ears were flat to his skull, "Who's there?" He hissed menacingly. The troll hunched his shoulders defensively.

Dirk turned away. Equius huffed disapprovingly, "Let's go inside. You're both in need of medical attention. Good thing Granny Strider is a nurse." He murmured.
Kanaya started to cry, "Pl-Please excuse me." She pushed away from the table and scurried off to the bathroom.
Sollux looked up, "I wonder what'th wrong..." He said worriedly.

"I'm fine." He muttered softly. "But I believe I've learned my lesson about dis-ing bro's BF." Dave said with a chuckle.
Kanaya stopped dead in her tracks, "Oh, h-hello Karkat." She said quietly, not turning around.

"I won't." He said softly. "Now come on, Granny's gunna patch me and bro up." He murmured, following Equius inside.
Kanaya cried softly into Karkat's shoulder. She was shuddering and clinging to him.

Kanaya continued to sob onto Karkat's shoulder. She was completely oblivious to Vriska's approach.
Dirk was sitting on the ottoman with his shirt off. He skin was riddled cuts and bruises. Equius was on his knees nexted to Granny Strider's chair, passing her things as she cleaned Dirk's wounds.

Kanaya let out a whine and looked up at Vriska with a worried glance. "Vriska?" She said in a wavering tone. The teen turned around and hugged her tight. "Vriska!"
Equius stood, "Terezi, please come here. We need your assistance."

Sollux looked at Karkat, eyebrows raised. "What? Ith there thomething wrong with them?" He asked nervously. Sollux started to freak out, "What wath wrong with them?!"
"Clean Dave's cuts. I'm sure you can do it. It's like the clay." Equius murmured, pushing a soft wet cloth into her hand.
