[Yeah! I would appreciate it, actually. My computer really hates me right now so I'm sorry for the short posts...]
Kate, ignoring her instinct and getting closer, heard little snips of Chester's mumble as the car roared to life. She hauled herself up and leaned against it carefully as Mark worked on Daryl.
-
Rainy, purring, settled down and whispered to her sister. "I actually would like to have kits soon, but I don't know if it's good for the clan, or me, or...him." Silverfang stared at her and smiled. "Well, tell him."
-
Rainy's frustrated expression showed that she really didn't want to do this now. "It's late. Let's get some sleep," Silverfang purred quietly, prodding her sister up and to the warriors' den. It actually wasn't that late, but they were exhausted. Returning to the warriors' den, Rainy began to groom Silverfang silently as the young warrior was lulled to sleep.
-
Kate stumbled into the back, helping Daryl in as she crawled. The car would be big enough for them, but no one else. Finally, she came to her senses, practically slapping herself for such idiotic behavior. She had said no one should have to worry about her. Now she had to keep that true.
Daryl accepted Kate's help, jamming into the car and slumping down in pain. His neck hurt, but it was a bit better than the initial stinging sensation.
-
His heart beat a little faster now, and he tried to help her as she cried. "D-do you know him?" he whispered to her, helping and directing her to sit or lay, and tried to calm her a little at least.
-
The river must have been the right way to go. Stormkit was sure of it now, and he looked up at the two, smiling.
-
Kate looked at mark, her face clear of worry and any pain she had from killing her mother. She snapped back in her seat as Diane pulled out, making her a little dizzy as she muttered, "I'm fine."
Daryl was sitting back in the seat, hoping not to feel the effects of Diane's driving. How the hell did she drive an ambulance?!
-
Rainy had a hard time falling asleep as everyone around her lay down, falling to sleep almost silently. She just...couldn't. Thinking about all of it, she finally made sure her sister was asleep and made her way out of the den. The she-cat spotted Snowtiger but stayed along the edge of camp not wanting to disturb him. She looked around and realized that the only cats still awake were her, Snowtiger, and the medicine cat whom was preparing herbs. Her heart leapt in her chest as she thought of their kits, and what they could name them, and how cute they would be, and how Silverfang could help her take care of them.
-
Kate jerked forward, but kept calm and answered, "There's a ton of food, water I'm pretty sure, but bedding...there may be a couple blankets in the kindergarten rooms." She was smashed into the door and let out a slight yelp, but she tried to lean back and stay still.
-
Stormkit coughed, hard. They just had to get there now. Seasalt and Fierykit were there...wherever there was. As soon as the trees started thinning out and the soil gave way to sand, he knew it. They were there. At the sea.
-
Rainypelt, looking up after her thoughts, saw him wave her over and she stiffened at first. That's when she realized she was okay with him and padded as quietly as she could over to him. "Hey," she said casually.
-
Kate had to think carefully. "They had us on lockdown, y'know? Then, everything went to s*** when some dumba** turned and started bitin' everyone. I'm not really sure what happened, because half the time I was reading and the other half I was passed out in shock. When I woke up, bodies were wrapped up and stabbed in the halls. That's all I know."
-
Seasalt, prodded by the fact that Ravenfeather was there, dove out of the tree and into the sand, rushing toward them.
Stormkit sprinted toward his sister and greeted her as best he could, his face glowing with happiness.
-
"I'm not sure. I just...can't sleep, you know?" She blushed a little as their tails entwined. Rainy's heart was jumping in her chest as she purred lightly.
-
Seasalt purred and gasped lightly, rubbing her head along and whispering, "I missed you, too, Ravenfeather!"
-
Seasalt still felt awful about leaving her behind, but he couldn't think about it now. He just wanted to be with her now, next to her, and love her.
-
Seasalt finally looked over to Whiteclaw. "Who...who is this, Ravenfeather?" he asked, a hint of curiosity in his tone.
-
"Well, hello. I'm Seasalt. You are?" He looked at him in a trusting way, but also protectively, as he was unsure about this.
-
"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm glad you found her, so thank you so much, Whiteclaw." he smiled, lightly.
-
The girl nodded, wiping the hair from her face and looking out the windows. "It won't be far when we reach the forest. Which I'm guessing isn't to far away from here." She looked directly at Chester, then finished with, "When we get there, I know where we can get supplies."
