"Never really...y'know...got to know any kid good enough. I'm the little brother. But, there isn't really much to do but survive, is there?" He spoke in a darkened tone, his eyes averting to the ground.
Joel and Ellie sat around, bored. Ellie wanted to go outside, but Joel, not wanting her to die, warned her against it. She begged and pleaded, but Joel, being the sensible one, kept up his side of the argument.
[ I didn't mean for her to be a kid...she just looks younger. She's going to be, like, 26. With training in boxing and fishing.]

Stormkit looked at her blankly, then looked at his paws. He shook his head, not wanting to be thought of like that. He placed a paw on his throat, then to his mouth, and shook his head again, as if to say, 'I can't speak, I can't talk.'
-
[Thanks! So much, seriously.]
Kate blinked as the entire situation finally sunk into her mind. OH my f***ing god...I killed my mom. She blinked and paused as they came upon a parking lot, and she staggered into a trip.
Daryl, not really concerned about Kate's ability to function, pointed out the parking lot. "If we take a car, we can get to that school faster. Hell, I can break into a car."
-
His heart was racing. This tom could kill him so easily...so...fast. And yet, he hadn't yet. Before he tried to attack he decided on a plan. "WHAT IS YOUR NAME?" he gasped, stunning himself. "And why haven't you killed me yet?"
-
He purred to, and it was unmistakable what this meant; I love you. He sat quietly next to her, then pointed to his drawing. 'We have to find them.'
-
Rolling his eyes, Daryl sighed. "I know that. I can break into a car quietly, and there aren't many walkers close enough to be drawn to it. Unless, of course, you have a better plan than walking the next, oh, couple of miles to get there."
Kate finally got up, then fell again. Daryl offered his hand to her, and she grabbed it to get up again. "I can handle--" she was cut off by falling and tripping, but Daryl had pulled her back up.
-
(Er...this is private now.)
Stormkit thought of the stories Seasalt had told them about the ocean (a.k.a. the great waters). It was big, and cold, and the air was saltier there.
-
She smiled, her pearly teeth showing as she looked back and forth between the two. "Yeah, I am," she said in a bubbly tone, "I knew you weren't crazy enough to deny it , Rainy. I'm so glad that you finally care about someone other than me." Her eye was wrapped in cobwebs and infection-preventing herbs, but she didn't seem to mind much. She looked back at Snowtiger, her blue eye glowing with pride. "And he's the deputy. So...are you guys gonna have kits?" Rainy gaped at her, then began to grin. Her sister had always wanted to have kits. Judging by the fact that she now had a severe injury, that may never happen. She didn't respond to her, though, and looked to Snowtiger.

Kate stumbled over to Chester, leaning up on him and muttering, "F***ing b****..." Daryl silently worked on the car, but the inside was covered with blood and dirt. He opened the door, and a corpse tumbled out...and it wasn't one of them. It had a bullet hole through its head. He drug the body out, muttering something yet again as he stood an stared. Though she was in a bad state right now, Kate offered a suggestion. "Check it for the keys. That would save us a whole lot of trouble f***ing with this thing."
-
Stormkit's heart felt as if they were right where they needed to be. 'Starclan save us...' He found where he had thought he scented them, but it wasn't there any more.
-
Rainy smiled and nodded. She glanced at him and smiled, her heart skipping a bit before she nodded. Rainypelt was blushing as she said quietly, "I'm glad it wasn't before the...incident. Although, it could be any time now. That I'm ready."
-
[My plan was that the driver committed suicide, but that just makes it stronger. I like it.]
Daryl yelped, trying to pull away from it as he yelled, "S***! SOMEBODY SHOOT THE F***ING THING!" His crossbow was beside the car, and he was grabbing for it, but it was to far away.
Kate jumped at his yelling and inched forward, but she soon gave up and halted in shock. It was so close to eating him...what could they do? Heck, they were to far away. Or she was, at least.
-
"Not if it means that I won't be able to live with myself," he managed, looking the tom boldly in the eyes. "I now I'm not worth the trouble, but if you want to go around killing cats, you might as well get me first." He looked at him now with sadness, his heart ready to burst.
-
The tiny kit sniffed though the forest as the air smelled...weird. He tried to pick them up, but he wasn't very good at tracking. Stormkit's nose wrinkled as the smell got stronger.
-
[Could I have the link to that blog? Working on planning.]
Daryl clutched his neck, but slipped out from under the corpse. He slid down to the ground in pain, still holding onto his neck, and clutching his knife.
Kate only mouthed something unnoticed and looked in horror at Daryl's injury. She looked to Diane, then seeing the gun. She noticed how she hadn't had it before. Her heart skipped a little as she realized how close that was.
-
Stormkit fell behind on purpose, as he wasn't very good at this. They couldn't be that far now!
-
Rainy glanced at him before looking to her sister. "Hungry?" Silverfang nodded, and they approached the freshkill pile slowly, not wanting to rush the injured she-cat. They each grabbed a mouse and sat together to eat. They talked of everything before Silverfang finally asked when she would be ready. Rainy shrugged, but her sister prodded and she purred lightly.
-
Daryl glared at Diane, but flinched and sat back as Mark approached him. "F*** it."
Kate, instinctively, stayed back. Daryl was hurt, Diane seemed mad, and she was in a very bad state.
-
"You okay?" he asked wildly, looking to the she-cat, then glancing behind himself to watch the tom go into the bushes.
-
The air smelled even saltier now. Stormkit wrinkled him nose and kept his legs up as they crossed the river. He plopped down and drew the ocean again, but this time with them next to it.
