Stormkit nodded and lay beside Ravenfeather, enjoying the fact that she had actually begun to groom him. Because he didn't know, it wasn't surprising...but only his mother ever did this. He had a questioning, yet exhausted look, and soon fell asleep.

Mya
Mya yanked away from Diane, her sleeve snagged up so the bite was visible. "Kate..." she coughed and sobbed, blood going all over her shirt. "Kate, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I couldn't be there for you. I love you, I really do, but I'm ever going to be forgiven for the things I did, honey. I...I couldn't."
Kate
Kate, dropping to her knees with a thud in front of her helpless mother, was sobbing uncontrollably. "I couldn't forgive you. Ella and Dad couldn't forgive you. And now, no one can forgive me." She grabbed her blood-stained knife, raising it as her mother nodded and cried. Her bloody hands forced down the knife, but her conscience kept the pointed edge above her head. "No one." The blood was dark and minimal as her mother's wide eyes were brushed closed. "No one, mom. No one."
Daryl
Daryl had thought he had seen it all. He had seen people eat each other, kill each other, torture each other...but never had he seen such power in a twelve-year-old girl. "Holy s***..." he muttered, looking at Diane, then to a sobbing Kate and her dead mother. One thing tht threw him off was Kate's posture. Unlike most people, who would fall over the dead and cry, Kate was just sitting there, on her knees, wiping her tears away and tossing the knife to the side.
[Could I bring in a character from a different game?]

Stormkit rolled a little bit, in restless sleep. He dreamt of his sister, Seasalt and Ravenfeather, and how amazing it would be to be together. He smiled and rested, enjoying the illusion.
-
Stormkit woke with a bit of a start, realizing Ravenfeather was with him, and slipped out to make his way to the woods. He stepped on a branch, them stumbled a little and slipped onto the ground. His stomach grumbled, as he hadn't eaten since the day before.
-
'Out.' he mouthed. He glanced sideways at Whiteclaw, opening his jaws to scent the area. 'Their scent is here. Come.' He signaled with his tail with this, excited to find them.

Kate
Kate stood and nodded at Diane. "We need to leave. This town is done." She grabbed her empty backpack, picked up her knife, and marched down the flight of stairs. When she reached the ground floor, she turned, sighed, and said, "Just because it's done doesn't mean we are. Just because everyone we knew and cared about is done doesn't mean we're done. Hell, with my family, it's three down, one to go." And with that, she wandered out the door, her tears wiped away. She was headed for the place she knew: the gym field. There were at least three walkers there, and as far as she cared, they were going to die.
Daryl
Daryl just watched Kate go out. "Three outta four," he sighed. "One to go." He walked down the steps after her, but not before looking at everyone around him. Mark, Diane, Chester...and Mya. Well...Mya's corpse. Stalking out of the door awkwardly, he murmured something to himself.
Joel & Ellie
Joel wasn't to happy about this. He was stuck with Ellie...and his daughter had died the night before. Luckily, Ellie was a good shot. She had her own handgun, which was enough to keep them alive. But, Joel wasn't exactly talkative. Ellie reminded him of Sarah, but she was...different. Tougher. Used to...this. Whatever the hell this was. The girl had a pretty good sense of humor, but she didn't know when to keep her damn mouth shut.
Ellie was exhausted. Being with Joel was so boring, and yet, she still enjoyed it. She knew about Sarah, about his brother, Tommy. But, would Joel be able to protect her? More importantly, would she be able to protect Joel? They had hardly escaped the last horde, which had been a couple hundred. So, she couldn't blame herself or Joel. There were just to many.
The mismatched pair came upon a large field, and a past memory struck Joel, as his daughter had won several games of soccer...but all that running just wasn't enough. Ellie patted his shoulder, but kept pace across the large field when she saw the school. And the walkers. "Ugh, the smell." "You never do get used to it, huh, Ellie?" There were around four walkers, each fairly far away, rom them and each other. "Stay with me," Joel commanded. "We can't get eaten now." -
'See? It smells like them!' the kit 'said'. His heart thudded in his chest and he sneezed, since the sunshine filtering through the forest wasn't doing much good for the fairly cold air.
-
The kit nodded in thanks and began to eat. The prey was delicious in his jaws, and soon he had a full belly.
-
[Yeah, she means to go there, not immediately. I have no idea why, probably to find her sister's body. And take out some frustration on 'safe' walkers. Plus, Joel and Ellie are way far off.]
-
Kate
Kate didn't even turn to face her. She spoke softly so only Diane could hear, and said, "It is Kate. But, you're forgetting something. Not only could people be alive, they could be dead. Dead and up, walking around. Now, wherever you're going, go ahead. I'm going to the school, where I know everyone was shot or stabbed in the head. I know that they have food there. And I know I'm not the dumba** my mother was. I'm not the b**** my sister was, either. So, if you want to go kill yourself, go on ahead. If all of them want to go with you, let them. But I'm going to survive, no matter if I have to kill everyone along the way. I would rather be alone and alive than with tons of friends as a walker."
Daryl
Daryl looked over at Mark. "I'm Daryl. That's Kate, and this here is Chester." His crossbow resting on his back, he kept pace in the center of the group, not wanting to lead or fall behind.
Joel & Ellie
Joel kept silent as he snuck up behind a walker. Ellie had started calling them that, and it had just stuck as a code word. He used his machete, which was actually useful for a lot more than just chopping heads, and only resorted to his pistol when necessary. He killed a couple before Ellie started whining.
"I wanna get one, Joel! God, you are so selfish!" In truth, she was just kidding around. So, of course, Joel let her get the next one. She had a hunting knife, which was a bit bulky for her, but she loved it. After killing the last one, they began the long trek into the school.[I was thinking about bringing in a couple later on, but the girl is actually stronger and more adapted than her boyfriend. Then, hey find this kid and the guy starts teaching him/her about reading and writing and all that while the girl is secretly teaching him/her about weapons and killing. What do you think?]
-
Stormkit watched him from the clearing, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
Seasalt, continuing to play in the water, eventually began to think about how ridiculous it was that he had just left a scent trail. He climbed out, shaking the droplets from his fur, and wandered back to the oak where they slept.
-
Stormkit, realizing his talent of drawing in the dirt drew an eye. 'Just watching.' As he heard a rustle back in the camp, he looked over to see a black pelt. 'Ravenfeather's up.' He raced back to her, tripping over himself, and smiled at her.

Kate
Kate's expressionless face looked up at Diane. "Don't ever call me a kid, okay? I've been through worse than this before it happened. Don't f***ing call me anything but Kate." She was looking forward now, her pace quickening to keep next to Diane. "If, and this is a big if, someone does get bitten, there'll be no one else to blame except me, and I'm already goin' to hell for worse reasons. And I'm not sure about those two. In truth, I don't really care." Her tone was quite mature for being twelve, although her heart was jumpy from all the big talk she had.
Daryl
Daryl looked back at Mark, not really caring about what had happened before. "Hell, I was with my brother. We got separated, and now he's off somewhere, probably f***ing up someone else's life." He sighed, thinking of Merle, but his attention quickly caught on to Kate and Diane. Was Kate stupid enough to stand up that much?...Or was she smart enough to do so?
Joel & Ellie
The school had been chock full of food. The cafeteria was full of huge cans, to many to carry and to many to eat. The one disturbing thing was the bodies. They were everywhere. Down the halls, in the classrooms, and a few shoved into lockers. The ones that turned were in lockers. Ellie was instantly reminded of her school--she was only fourteen, after all---and looked around for anything familiar. Joel looked for supplies like weapon and ammo...but of course, there was none. It was a school, for god's sake.
Ellie had found the most ridiculous thing of all: an action figure. It was a super hero, although it was so bloody it couldn't be recognized. She made whooshing and zooming sounds as Joel scolded her for being childish. Her red t-shirt was now caked in blood, and her brown-red hair tied back. Joel knifed open a huge can that was full of...green beans. They grabbed forks and dug in, tired and starving from their aimless trek.[I like it. I'll start thinking of pictures and names...]
-
Stormkit's joyful expression was so adorable, yet he didn't even understand how people thought he was cute. He twirled around her paws, glittering blue eyes reflecting the bright sun and ocean.
-
In Stormkit's mind, they wouldn't just leave them...unless they had to. He unwove himself from her, then looked at Whiteclaw. He sat on the ground, preparing for an argument.
-
Stormkit nodded in agreement with her. His tabby brown fur was a bit ruffled as he looked at his tiny paws. The kit placed one hard on the ground, making a footprint.
-
Stormkit was now planting his brown paws happily in the ground, making a large, wet spot where he could draw easily. The little tom thought a moment, thought about what Seasalt had told him stories of. The ocean. He had always wanted to live by the ocean, because of its salty scent and cool water. He softly drew little waves in the ground, trying to explain.
-
Kate
Kate just rolled her eyes at Diane. "Whatever the hell I have to do, I'll do it."
Daryl
Daryl shook his head. His kept his hand on his knife, though, just in case, and was prepared for a sudden walker attack.
Joel & Ellie
After eating the green beans, Joel and Ellie packed two cans and continued on their way...but not before looting the bodies of dead people. At first, Ellie had been skeptical, but Ellie had assured her that it was okay. They found some keys...but, of course, they were broken. Ellie added the idea of staying there for the night, which Joel agreed to and they unpacked, holing up in a room where there weren't any bodies.
[Okay, I think I've a good name & picture now. This is Samantha (or Sammy):
She's not like Kate and Ellie, she's a lot more shy.] -
Noticing that it probably wasn't the best explanation, He drew a little kit and a large warrior, walking around it and trying to show them.
-
He tried to think of a way to explain this. Maybe...maybe he could draw something? Oh, like a den! He did his best to draw a den, although it wasn't very good.
