Spade made a quick look at the sword merchants table and noticed a rather interesting claymore. It had all of the suit card symbols, and had an inscription on it in a different language. The handle was a lovely brass color that had a brown wrapping on it that looked worn. Pushing a lock of hair out her face she said "I'll be right back miss." She jogged quickly and checked the price. It was much less expensive than the broad sword. She gave the merchant three gold coins and walked away with the claymore strapped to her back. She appeared once more in front of the tea kettle merchant.

"I'll take it! How much so you want foe it?" She said admiring it. Her father would like it a lot.
-
Spade pulled out a silver piece and said "thank you for the cup." She carefully put the cup in her bag that hung off of her belt.
-
Spade nodded her head and walked away. She went to a couple more vendors before finding a pretty hair piece. She bought it for three silver pieces, and then bought groceries with some of the rest. She walked towards the leather maker to see if her had anything new that caught her eye.
-
Spade sighed as she saw nothing of interest. Checking on how much she had left, she left the market area for home.
-
Amelia arrived home and checked the note she had received. It was her father asking how was she doing and how was she was enjoying being a maid. He talked about how her mother was sick again, and that she should come and visit. The problem with that though is that they lived in a village along the border of the Spade kingdom. She would have to take off work foe it, but she was worried about her mother.
-
Spade studied the letter one last time and sighed. She wrote back that she would try to come in a few, and would only be staying for three days before she had to take leave. Sighing she exited her house locked it up and went to go find someone to spar with. She was getting a rotten headache, but she decided against sparring because of her leg. "No need to make that worse for when I saw father." She murmured. So she went for a walk instead.
-
Spade hadn't really been paying attention to where she had been walking to so it never surprised her if she ended up some where completely random, but she was kinda surprised to see how close to the castle she was. She blinked twice, but continued walking towards it a little bit. She didn't look the same as when she was in her maid uniform, and while mostly it was because of the sword on her back and the fact that when she was a maid her hair was down. She always had her hair up when not working or sleeping.
-
Hearing something Spade gritted her teeth and started to run to see what was up. Her feet stayed silent and swift as she looked ahead to see if someone was trying to break into the castle.
-
Spade saw another one run off, most likely in the same direction and started to run faster. The claymore kept a pretty steady rhythm against back. Blowing a hair out her face she ran to catch up with the two people who had come from the castle. "I hope everything is okay there. I'll check on the castle when I'm finished here." She said mostly to herself. Her voice also didn't really sound the same. In the castle it was a sweet, polite sound. Outside of her job she still had the politeness, but the sweet tone wasn't as sweet. It had a bit of tartness to it that could quickly change change to a chilling tone.
-
Spade had gotten closer with each stride to the person running away. As she got closer she realized it a man and that he had a peculiar hair color. She took in a deep breathe and propelled herself faster.
-
Spade saw him climb the tree. She stopped under it and called up "I know your up there, and contrary to the fact that I was running after you and I do have a sword strapped to my back I just wanna talk. Honest." Her voice softened a bit, almost mirroring to the voice she used when addressing the Prince. She brushed her hair out of her face and judged how far the tree would be to climb.
-
Spade waited for an answer. "I won't hurt ya, unless you give me reason to." She let down her hair, immediately looking somewhat like she did in her maid uniform only in her normal clothes.
-
Amelia's eyes shot up and her tone turned icy. "How do you know that name?" Unconsciously she slipped into a fighting stance, her breathe still calm. The voice had sounded almost like the Prince's. Unbending her knees slightly, she narrowed her dark chocolate brown eyes and called up "Prince Dakota?"
-
"Outside of the castle I'm known as Spade sir." She blinked thinking that maybe her father had been right and she should've cut her hair and joined the Spade kingdom army. "I have a good question now, am I going to lose my job because I chased after you thinking you were a thief?" Spade never believed in begging, but she needed this job. She couldn't look her father in the face and tell him why she lost her job exactly.
-
"Of course sir. Now, why did you leave the castle?" She crossed her arms, but that kinda accentuated that she had a nice figure so she put her hands on her hips. That didn't help either, but it was the better alternative.
-
Spade blinked twice at the girl and said "and you would be?" Her brown leather jacket came right below her chest, her white tank top covering the rest of her stomach. Her brown pants were tucked into her high brown boots.
-
Spade look at the girl said "not a talker, that's fine. Though I wouldn't go through the woods with just your dagger." She said looking at said dagger. "A small thing like that isn't gonna scare of the wildlife and or bandits in those forests. You need a sword."
-
Spade looked at the sword and nodded. "It's nice, don't get me wrong now it can do damage, but you know how to properly wield it princess?" She said princess nonchalantly. She didn't actually know if it was the princess.
-
Spade was impressed. "Nice craftsmanship. Most of cost you a very pretty gold Schilling. If you don't mind my intrusion though, I'd like to accompany you both to make sure no harm comes to you. And you could always use an extra sword." She pointedly said this question to the girl, who looked as though she was the leader of the rag-tag duo.
