Silverkit mewed slightly, pressing against Flamekit and Echokit.

Moonsong looked up at the she-cat. She snarled.

Sunwish finally woke up and ran into the nursey.

Sunwish looked at Nightkit's ears, and sighed."Moonsong...I'm sorry."She finally mewed.

Moonsong's eyes were open."No....no no no!"She shouted."He's not deaf!"

Silverkit gasped.

Graysky trotted over to Nightfoot and flicked his tail over her ears.

"Moonsong-"Sunwish was cut off.

Moonsong shook her head."You useless piece of fur."

Graysky flinched.

Silverkit nudged Nightkit.

"No, I'm Silverkit."She mewed, not knowing that 'deaf' ment he couldn't hear her.

Moonsong licked Echokit's head.

Moonsong let out a yowl of grief and pain.

Silverkit blocked him.

Silverkit yowled in pain, and Moonsong looked back. She gently narrowed, her eyes, then grabbed Nightkit's scruff. She padded out of camp, and into the woods.

Moonsong treked through the forest and crossed the thunderpath. She eventually saw Nightstar, and stepped on a branch.

Moonsong stepped out from the brush and set Nightkit down. Her eyes filled with pain."Yes, my father was from ShadowClan. My mother was from ThunderClan."

She flicked her tail and turned away."This is your son. Your blind and deaf son. If you're so keem on him becoming a warrior, then train him yourself. Flamekit lost an eye. Before long, I bet Silverkit will lose her leg, and Echokit's tail will be cut off!"

"Only a miracel from StarClan will save him...."Moonsong mewed softly."He had so much potential..."

Moonsong grabbed Nightkit and backed away.

Moonsong backed up against a tree.

Moonsong's eyes widened, and she went up a silent prayer to StarClan. Please! I'll send him back as a medicine cat, but please! Make him hear again!

Moonsong set Nightkit down, and curled around him, her eyes shut close. Please StarClan! Let Nightkit hear again! He'll be a medicine cat and learn yuor ways with Sunwish! Just please!

"Thank you, StarClan..."Moonsong whispered.

Moonsong sighed."He'll never be a warrior."

Silverkit came padding up, her dark silver fur rippling.
