[size=10][color=darkblue]Daichi Aoi
Looking around, Daichi's smile became just a touch more subdued, a different glint of happiness lighting in his eyes. He was excitable, yes, but he still loved libraries. This one was almost just like the one back at home, but he was hopeful this one would have different books. The girl seemed to want to stay for a while- that was fine, he thought with a smile. He wanted to stick around for a little while, too. Dropping his bag quietly by the librarian's desk, he looked around a minute- yes, he knew this system- before trotting off, towards the non-fiction section. There were a few people in the manga section on the other side of the library, he noted, but this side was almost bare. It didn't affect his mood, however, as he easily picked out a shelf, finger trailing along the spines, eyes skimming over the titles. His eyes lit up as a blue-spined book caught his eye, and he plucked it from the shelf- various star formations and galaxies decorated the cover, a book about supernovae and space phenomenon. His expression took on a look of intense interest as he slowly turned through the pages, eventually going from leaning against the stacks to sitting on the floor.((Doin' homework. Might not be back for a bit, and mighta been another crappy post..))

(Just wanted to remind you to put Housuke in dorm seven XP)
-
[size=10][color=darkred]Housuke Odoroki
A few minutes later found Housuke straying from the 'guide', no longer quite as interested in a tour. He had noticed Daichi's disappearance only after the familiar visor-clad raven-hued head had vanished into the crowds, but he didn't feel any particular need to seek him out. Despite appearances, Daichi was capable of taking care of himself.. more or less. Instead, Housuke was heading for his own dorm, beginning to feel almost nervous amidst the new faces, hands in his pockets. In all honesty, as much as he didn't like to admit it, he was no socialist, unless it was in a formal atmosphere, one he was quite used to and comfortable in. The near-casual atmosphere was almost intimidating, especially now that he wandered alone- Daichi normally found some way to crack both the atmosphere and Housuke himself, helping him relax. Not that he depended on the Aoi at all- well, he supposed, perhaps a little bit; it had developed subconconsciously over the years, with how often the two were together. And away from the energetic teen... it was almost like he was being stared down, at least in his mind, from all sides. Maybe that was why he was retreating to the safety of his dorm- he'd probably just get a head-start on his studies, he mused, the thought a little comforting.At the thought, though, was when he looked up to realize, in his musings, he had strayed from his path, now nowhere near the dorms. Blinking, he looked around- okay, where was this...?
[color=darkblue]Daichi Aoi
Deeply engrossed in the book, Daichi nearly wound up completely out of touch with reality when a faint breeze ruffled the pages. He blinked- looking up in time to see the girl from before (he didn't really know her name yet, did he? Then again, she didn't know his...) disappear between the shelves. Curious, he stood up, worn sneakers making almost no sound on the carpet as he followed after the girl- he was surprised to find a small nook in the library, like a private little oasis out of the way of everything else. If he hadn't seen her walking here, he probably wouldn't even have noticed it. The girl was lost in the book- she didn't notice him at all. Careful not to make too much noise (not wanting to disturb her reading), he dragged the other bean bag a few inches away before sitting down himself- he may not be nearly as observant as Housuke, and some might even call him oblivious at times, but he wasn't stupid; he could see that this older girl didn't like close quarters. But then, he wasn't sure why he'd decided to accompany her- he didn't think much on it, though, looking back to his book silently. Perhaps it was just that he didn't really like the thought of someone being alone- personally, he himself could handle solitude, but he didn't like it much... maybe she was just shy, or quiet.((La-dee-da~...))

[size=10][color=darkblue]Daichi Aoi
Daichi blinked in surprise, almost missing the whisper- and he would have, if it hadn't been for the close proximity. As the whispered word fully registered, though, he looked up, giving a bright smile."I'm Daichi!" Instinctively, he stuck out a hand for her to shake, grin not shaking. "Nice to meet you, then!"
-
[size=10][color=darkblue]Daichi Aoi
Daichi- who hadn't even noticed whatever it was that had made Saiko blush and draw back like that- hardly had time to think about it before he heard the librarian shushing him; he pulled his hand back, instead slapping it over his mouth slightly sheepishly. He was often loud without meaning to- this time was no exception. But the sheepish look only lasted a moment, before he was grinning again, dropping his hand again. As Saiko stood up, his gaze blanched for a moment, thinking he'd accidentally offended her somehow. It passed soon enough, though, as she looked back and spoke again- recovering instantly, he smiled, nodding."Ok-" A glare from the librarian, and his volume cut to about half, give or take, "-okay." He stood up, putting his own book on the rack as he followed after, looking almost like a boy-sized puppy with the look of almost eager excitement on his face, ready to follow the improv-tour guide.
((Mmm... *shrugs* I dunno. I'll give it a shot, but know that I'm not any good at romance (zero experience) XP Just as long as it's gradual/natural
unlike hormone-crazy #1 and #2 here XD jk, jk)) -
[size=10][color=darkred]Housuke Odoroki
Figuring out where he was, Housuke had just been heading back towards the dorms again when he passed the front entrance- a girl was walking in, looking extremely excited. She was probably new, not that he was one to talk. But the crowd had all but dispersed, and no one was left in the room- after a moment of comtemplation, he approached the girl, waving and giving a polite smile."Hello, there. My name's Housuke." He introduced, as friendly as he could manage.

((Meep- I know nothing of sports XP))
[size=10][color=darkblue]Daichi Aoi
Daichi watched for a moment as Saiko bounced the ball- by the rather clumsy way she was doing it, yet with her hand so stiff, he guessed with a chuckle she wasn't good at the sport. Well, neither was he, to be fair. But he could bounce a ball at the very least, he reasoned, as he picked up one of his own, bouncing it rhythmically, the periodic echoes of thuds against the floor almost hypnotizing.... Key word, almost. But after a few minutes, the silence was starting to really eat at him, so Daichi just spouted off the first question that his mind could conjure."Have you been going here all four years?" The 'four' part was just a guess, since he honestly didn't know how old she was, but she kinda looked like she was eightteen or nineteen.
((... Tired...))
-
[size=10]Housuke Odoroki
Though tthe response was a bit cold, Housuke kept up what he hoped was a friendly smile."Is this your first year here, too?" He asked, in a vaguely awkward attempt at conversation.
Daichi Aoi
Daichi blinked in surprise- despite the green flag, he was still a little hesitant to question the quiet girl about just anything. Though, he did have a few safer questions, he reasoned, before tilting his head, pointing to the headphones."Why is it that you listened to those all the time, even when I first talked to you for a while?" Even at the time, he'd been a little curious how she could hear him or respond so quietly when he could still hear the low drone of music coming from the headphones.
((Just realised how (outwardly) abrasive Housuke's roommates are XP This is gonna be fun (right after a quick little marathon of Spongebob)))
-
((N-no.. i'm watching recordings... Spongebob doesn't come back on live tv for another hour...))
-
((Nyah.... Wow... That felt really good ;) I fell asleep almost as soon as I got home from school, sorry! I only slept two hours last night, so I really needed that))
[size=10]Daichi Aoi
The pregnant silence made Daichi start to fidget slightly, suddenly realizing he might have crossed some kind of line with that question, though he really didn't really know how. He didn't get the chance to backtrack, however, before she breathed an answer- one that kind of made Daichi feel worse for bringing it up."Oh... Sorry.." He mumbled, unsure himself whether he was apologizing for bringing it up or symmpathizing that it happened. Probably a little of both..
((Half-rushed post, I gotta get everything I should've done during the day done in the next half hour DX Wish me luck!))

(Nyah!!! DX Don't spoil it for me! I wanted to watch Ouran High Host Club one of these days!
And Death Note rocks XP How am I never here when it's brought up? But personally, even though I haven't watched too many animes (and tomorrow I plan on starting Cowboy Bebop), my personal favorite is Fruits Basket. I read the mangas too, and I like that it doesn't leave you hanging like OHSHC seems to do... .hack was an interesting manga, but the entire east coast library doesn't have the third book DX))

[size=10][color=darkblue]Daichi Aoi
Daichi started slightly as she exclaimed, eyes widening in surprise. He hadn't known she could be loud- normally, he'd have joked about it, made light of the situation. But now didn't feel like the right time, as she brushed past him tersely. He could practically see how tense she was as he followed after, for the first time of the day not showing a look of ecitement on his face, if only for fear of accidentally pushing her again (verbally, or physically, he supposed, with how tense she was). The light of curiosity was stil there, as she headed down an unfamiliar hallway, but it was much more subdued.((Yawn... i'm out. Peace... zzzzzz

((Can't post for a few hours- driving to my dad's house in virginia. Please don't make any important decisions without me XP))

((Surprise few extra minutes XP I do understand what you're saying, Hub. I think we should do a few consecutive days at least, though, before we skip by big increments like months. Personally, I can't stand when roleplays do timeskips that big- especially when all the relationships (platonic or romantic) are suddenly cemented, everything's almost routine, etc. I like it better when those sorts of gradual changes are roleplayed through XP But that's just me...)) -
((Here I am..! At.... about one thirty AM XP Watching George Lopez, all I can think of is Sharkboy and Lavagirl))
[size=10][color=darkblue]Daichi Aoi
Daichi sat down beside Saiko, legs crossed, but putting a reasonable distance between himself and the space-sensitive older female. Gaze down, he wrung his hands together for a minute, looking a bit unsure of whether to voice any more questions. Honestly, it wasn't that he was afraid of her- on the contrary, this was one of the rare moments he was simply afraid to speak up. He knew he sometimes managed to push buttons without meaning to, and he really didn't want to ask the wrong question again, and upset her. But she seemed open enough to questions, at least for the moment, and he still couldn't stand the silence. So, pushing the unsureness away, he let the conflicted expression melt away, never one to linger on negative emotions for too long as a smile found its way onto his face again."What do you like to do? For fun, I mean?" He asked, confident he'd chosen a safe question this time. And he really was curious- she didn't smile genuinely often enough, and he liked seeing people smile.

((Oh- no, sorry, I didn't see your post, Vixen... though, the post I made was in response to cupcake, I think.... I dunno. I can never think straight past midnight...))

Seeing as though he made an effort to look nice, the girl turned her head completely to him, not taking off her hood, but showing that her eyes were orange.
"Yes, this is my first year. If I may ask, what's your name?" Since the first time she talked she was letting her shy side get to her, she actually opened a tiny bit after she answered his question. There was even a hint of curiosity and kindness in her voice when she asked his name.[size=10]Housuke Odoroki
Housuks smiled, a little more relaxed this time."My name is Housuke Odoroki." He introduced, with a slightly formal half-bow.
((D*mn straight- two line post. I'm entitled to it, because I'm tired, sleep-deprived, and Spongebob kicks a*s))

((Lucky! I was TOLD we were gonna see Mr. Peabody and Sherman Saturday, but then everyone suddenly turned on me and decided it was the worst idea on the face of the earth T.T Not fair, people, not fair... Anywho... It may just be the fact that I fell asleep at three am making me talk so da*n blunt, but I seriously have little to no idea how to respond, Vixen- maybe something'll come to me after I sleep a few more hours...))
[color=darkblue][size=10]Daichi Aoi
At Saiko's question, Daichi's eyes lit up- a different light than moments ago, brighter, earnest, even more excitable, if such a thing were possible."Totally! I love everything about it- stars, planets, comets, cellestial bodies, satellites, you name it!" Daichi's expression was practically glowing, though it could be noted that he seemed to be hesitating just a bit in speaking, as if nervous to get too worked up about it. Which... he supposed, somewhere in his mind, he was... a little. Old habits did die hard, even if there was no way for his father to be anywhere near here.
((I started typing this last night- I'm headed to church now, so I'll be back in a few hours XP))
-
((Um, alright... I don't know who your character is, but this is what I do know- Akemi and whatshisface are clumsily pronouncing their love for each other (in a nutshell), Akemi's overprotective brother is watching from a window kinda thinking 'wtf, how dare he?!', Mae found the twins and is ticked off at their resoluteness at being identical and confusing, and... someone named Dignity is in the library. The end.. of what I know))
[size=10][color=darkblue]Daichi Aoi
Daichi beamed, flashing a toothy grin as she turned around."Yes!" His grin toned down slightly, and his eyes took on a glint of powerful resolve, but at the same time an intense joy, gaze locked on Saiko's. "You look so much happier when you smile like you mean it." Eyes suddenly reverting to their childlike exuberance, his gaze flickered to the clock on the wall as he processed her offer, before looking back to her.
"Sounds great!" His hand went to point to the clock as he spoke. "You wanna grab some food on the way? I think breakfast[lunch?]'s half over by now, so there won't be a line or anything." Excitement getting the better of him, Daichi didn't quite await her response, instead reaching out and grabbing her hand as he stood up.
"C'mon!" He said- though it didn't quite make sense (he would probably realize he didn't know which way was which halfway through running or something along those lines)- as he moved to run off, leading her along.

((I can't link to a picture right now, but I will in a minute))
Inigo turned at the sound of a light knocking on his door, bright-eyed gaze shifting from the window to the source of the noise. A debonair smile gracing his features, he walked over to the door, opening it mid-knock to meet his visitor.
"Hello, might I-" His expression registered surprise for a brief moment, then he smiled, a much warmer one this time.
"Why, hello, mother! Is there something I might help you with?" He questioned, curious about the object in his mother's hand, but not daring to show it, not even glancing at the curious object. After all, it would be quite rude not to show respect and look at his mother as he spoke.
((Inigo's polite XP Is this what you were expecting?))
-
((XD All your description made me think of was Bigfoot... but with big hands XP Had no idea what to do with Housuke, but... I didn't wanna leave Vixen waiting anymore, so nyeh))
[size=10]Housuke Odoroki
Housuke smiled, relaxing a bit, before glancing a clock (mysteriously placed on every single wall owo), blinking slightly in surprise."Breakfast has already started, it seems. Would you like to come along with me?" He offered, already having a basic grasp of the layout of the grounds- well, at least enough to know how to get from the entrance to the cafeteria.
[color=darkblue]Daichi Aoi
Daichi hesitated for a brief moment as they reached the first turn, but it was over almost instantly as Saiko spoke up, heading right as she had said with a grin and a quick 'thanks!'. He hadn't- and still didn't- take notice of her sudden terseness, or sudden tight expression. He wouldn't have at all, except for as he finally slowed down upon entering the cafeteria- hardly winded, but then, he was used to running, and it hadn't been too far- when he finally looked back at Saiko upon nearing the food. Surprise showed on his face, before he suddenly drew his hand back as if it had been struck, slight guilt edging his gaze, but it was easily overshadowed."Oh- s-sorry! I didn't mean to drag you like that..." He apologized, normally excited face taking on the slightest hint of regret, but for a different reason than Saiko's, simply in the belief that she didn't like being dragged around.
((Ach... falling asleep... Guten nocht, frauliens, herrs!))
