The dark red Asiatic Wild Dog grasped onto the rough rocky surface. His blunt claws etching marks into it as he tried to use his pads to grip onto it. His creamy white chest was had some spots of red fur. Russetcloud gasped as he lost his grip, and plunged into the mud two feet below. He growled with irritation, and paced below. "I'll get that stupid squirrel next time. And that's a promise!" He grumbled in dog speak. The thick fur on his shoulders.began to rise as he paced faster. Now what would he do? No other prey was in sight. Nor could he scent a thing. It was early in the morning, not even the pale milky sunlight was streaking across the sky yet. But Russetcloud enjoyed hunting this early. When he could get something.
With a sigh, he started to lick the sticky, grainy mud from his fur. It was all over his side's, and white paws, chest, and belly. Some on the tip of his smoky black tail. And some spots of mud appeared on his burnt black nose. All for a foolish squirrel! He scolded himself. Never mind that I guess. I just need to get something else. After he removed most of the substance from him, he padded off through the layered snow to find some more prey. Hopefully there was a snowshoe hare, or at least a vole somewhere.

(BTW, I love Wolf's Rain :) My sister and I are obsessed)
The Asiatic Dog came across the strange scent of another dog, and he wondered where it was coming from. Was it another SnowClan member? He hoped so. Even though it wasn't even light out yet, and so early into th morning, he was really tired already. He wouldn't be able to deal with going over another intruder.
His chocolate brown eye's darted from one place to another, until he saw another dog charging after him. "Aye aye!" He backed up slowly. Was this dog attacking? Or just so excited to see him?
-
"Um, who are you? Are you part of SnowClan or something?" He spoke in dog. Is that the only language this dog could speak? It's own? And why was it just sitting there wagging her tail? She's acting more like a pup than an adult dog. Tje Asiatic Wild Dog thought with a soft growl.
She better answer him this time. Otherwise he'd have to take her down or something. Bring her into camp to be looked at and decided what to do with. They may ask her questions, and she might not even answer them! Oh how that would be bad...
-
"What the...?" This dog was asking him a question, then walked away? "Hey! Stop!" If she wasn't in SnowClan, he had to escort her away from territory, or into camp. Russetcloud had reached her side in no time, and he blocked her way. "I'm afriad you cannot leave. You're on forbidden territory, and I'll have to ask you a few questions before anything else. Don't you know not to just walk away when you are found on someone else's territory?" The Asiatic Wild Dog barked, tilted his broad red head.
-
"It's not necessarily a Pack. Cat's call it a Clan. Our kind call it Pack's. Same difference. But I'm going to have to bring you in to see if they'll all accept you. But... why do you look so scared? If you're afraid of joining, or the possible kind of beings in SnowClan, why are you even bothering to be here?" Russetcloud was always a straightforward kind of Wild Dog. His mind was set forward and he was used to speaking his thoughts no matter how rude or harsh they sounded to other's. But he was always kind to other's.
-
The Asiatic Wild Dog looked strangely at the cat below an evergreen. Excus me? Did he just say... Homie? He'd never heard of the word. And the cat's way of talking was horrid to the dog's ears. He sighed, and looked up the tree to see the German cat Violeteyes. She was known for being different. Yet again, so was he. He was a dog, in a Clan with cat's For StarClans sake!
His dark red fur was slightly flurried with snow. But he knew it'd all melt by the time early noon came as always. "Hey, Violeteyes!" He spoke in cat. "Why don't you come down here? I can't climb as good as you." He laughed.
-
"Scared? Of me?" He tried not to laugh. "Then why were you just running to me before like a was some steak? Your tail was wagging and everything!" Now he was seriously confused. This dog seemed so happy to see him just a moment ago, as if they were long lost friend's. And now she claims to be scared of him?
-
(He's Not a fox xD he's an Asiatic Wild Dog)
"Russetclpud." He yipped softly, sitting down. He gave a dragging sigh, and closed his eye's. "I walked from camp, to the middle of the territory. It may not seem that far of a distance, but heart problems really take out the effort you put into thing's." He huffed trying to talk in one breath.
His creamy white chest fur was a bit messy and more fluffed up than usual. Probably because of the small pain in his chest. Russetcloud had finally gotten his oxygen, and he looked at the 'crazy' cat strangely once more.
-
"Well, I'm sorry if I'm defending my territory. But if you don't even understand the simplest tactics of defense in your land, then you wouldn't last long here. We take intruders seriously and have to deal with every single one of tjem. I honestly don't care if I sound rude to you. As long as I know I'm doing my job, that's all that matters. So if you don't like it, I can just escort you now to the border. If you think of running off, I'll have the other's find you as well." Well, this was spiraling down faster than he thought. Twila seriously didn't get it, did she? Was she ever in any experience with a Pack, or Clan before?
-
"You never caused trouble. You just caused... confusion. You have to be more clear with your point and have evidence to support what you're saying like I did. But I suppose you no longer wish to join? You seem... hesitant now." Russetcloud barked, and looked over his shoulder. Was there anybody around to help him with Twila?
-
(My Profile Picture is Russetcloud though. Hus breed and foxes look alike I guess)
The dark red brute shook his bhrng black muzzle. "Sorry, but no. I don't. Must be some weird labguage picked up from twolegs I suppise. But it's not something I'd use in my vocabulary for sure." The Warrior frowned, and flicked his smoky black tail. "I use norma words, thank you." He added with a small chuckle.
-
"Mm, nothing." He barked lowly. "And it's not my choice if I want you to join. No matter what you did, I still have to bring you into camp. I'm not the leader. So can you please stop acting… like this?" He couldn't really put it into word's. But it was a mixture of being helpless, and attention-wanting. She reminded him of someone that was trying to look for attention to.
-
"Ah, well, it happens." The canine shrugged, and released a wide yawn. "So… what were you doing up in that tree? I can't climb very well, but what is there really to do up there?" He asled, curiosity reflecting of his chocolate brown optics.
-
"Woohoo! The more the merrier!" Russetcloud yipped in cat. His chocolate brown eye's scanning over the cats.
-
The dark red canine sat down, flicking his smoky black tail across the ground. His burnt black muzzle pointed over each cat as his eyes scanned them all. His creamy white chest puffed out with each inhale for breath. Until the excitement came, his heart ws fine for now.
-
Russetcloud looked at Hawkflight, and tilted his head. He thought Violeteyes meant who would want to be the first to ask a question... "In that case, count me in to guy's. I'm open for a dare by default." The dark red canine grinned slyly, and looked at Hawkflight with a friendly laugh.
-
Russetcloud looked at Ivorycloud boredly. "Really? That's the best you've got for me?" He was a bit disappointed. He wanted something that made his blood rush. Something that made him edgy. But not over it, otherwise his heart would go again. He looked at Violeteyes. She knew of his problem. Maybe she could give him something just at that borderline, and not something ridiculously easy?
-
"Eh…" It still wasn't the best. Well, everyone has made the mistake at least once in their life when cleaning off the ticks and fleas of elders. He watched at his friend leaned over into Ivorycloud, and gave a sly grin. She knew his standards and boundaries better than anyone else! "I think I'll just stick with the putting the ticks in my tail part." It was dangerous; ticks carried disease. But he could handle it. "I'll go get mouse bile now." The medium-sized canine trotted away.
-
Russetcloud looked over as he heard a yowl. Queens are pregnant for two moons. Surely it isn't this early? There was a low percentage of any possibly living. If they did, most likely crippled or something. The canine flicked his smoky black tail, and poked his head in the nursery. It was Snowfall. He padded back out, and lifted his burnt black muzzle. "Snowfall is kitting early!" He howled, chocolate brown eye's reflecting extreme worry for the she-cat. But mostly the kits that probably may not survive.
-
The Asiatic Wild Dog buried his muzzle in the snow, failing an attempt to do a flip. He stood back up, and huffed as he saw a fruit tree. His chocolate brown eye's glowed as he licked his chops, and bounded over to the other side of the mountain. He sat at the base of the tree, and saw a little fruit bat on it's branches. He smiled, and put a paw up on the base of the tree. "Aye, can you drop me a fruit or two?" He yipped, excitedly.
