ooc: Sorry! *sheepish grin*
Fyre shifted a little under Ara's piercing stare that seemed to both warn him and search for a deeper meaning to his actions. He knew he would be questioned more about this once they returned to the den. He turned to Nira, taking in the new nick on her ear the alpha had just given her as a show of dominance. He grimanced slightly and waited to hear her answer.
-
Clover could feel the awkward tension too and looked over her shoulder again to see Storme glarring daggers at Rock. She sighed and fell into step beside Thalia and Nira.
"We'll have to keep an eye on those two in the future." she huffed softly to the two she-wolves. "They obviously got off on the wrong paw."
-
Gem flinched at Violetstar's bark of pain and she snuggled up against Soot, with her eard frooping, her wings down and her eyes teary.
Soot watched as Gem flincehd at every whimper of pain from Violetstar and gently nudged the pup.
"Let's go." he growled softly.
Gem shook her head.
"No, Soot. you're hurt too." she said. "You need help!"
-
Fyre locked eyes with Nira, giving her a silent warning. If she refused, all three would attack. She'd stand no chance against them.
"Please agree." he begged silently, surprised at himself for wanting this intruder to live so badly.
-
-
Gem tried to hide her tears. She knew her alpha was hurting, but she was trying not to show it. If Violetstar could bear such pain, then she, who was unhurt, could be brave and not cry. Gem moved away from Soot a little, forced her ears to perk up slightly and tried to smile.
Soot looked down, puzzled at the sudden change in Gem, but he saw that her eyes were locked firmly on Violetstar and that she was making a concerted effort to smile for the injured alpha. He had to had it to the pup. She was trying to be brave for her alpha.

As they entered the den area, Clover noticed a wolf trapped in a stone cage. Curious she turned to Thalia.
"Excuse me for asking this, but that wolf in the cage." she gestured wityh her head. "Who is that and why is she in there?"
-
ooc: I'm not beta I'm delta.
-
Fyre watched Nira, admiring her guts anew. She was still half-poised for flight, but seemed to know that it was not a good idea. She also showed no pain from the nick or fear of Ara as the alpha.
"She's... interesting." he thought to himself, grinning slightly.
-
ooc: Storme and Rock had a mini war which the she-wolves were able to stop. Clover demonstrated she has the gift of healing and Thalia has taken Storme and Clover to the den
ic: Clover could see the wolf in the cage was in a bad way. She needed help, and fast.
"If only I could heal her." she thought to herself as she followed Thalia.
-
ooc: O_o?
ic: Nikon turned as Lazuli leapt into camp.
"How was the hunt?"
-
Fyre shook his head slightly at her reaction.
"Yep, she sure is gutsy." he thought to himself.
He then turned to Ara.
"What do we do now, alpha?"

Nikon leaped away from Zhara slightly as Dux arrived. He knew the alpha would look to him for an explanation. But how could he tell Dux that Zhara was hurt because of him. Slowly he began to tell Dux the tale. When he was done, Nikon was still staring at the ground, not daring to look Dux in the eyes.
ooc: Sorry for not retelling...
-
ooc: Sounds good to me!
ic: Gem went to follow Violetstar, but Soot stepped lightly on her tail, stopping her and shaking his head. Gem pouted but said nothing.
"It's been a long, rough day, runt." Soot told her, nudging her towards the den. "You go to bed and get some sleep, I'll help Rangersight clean up."
"Ok." Gem flew into their den and settled down, but didn't sleep.
Soot approached Rangersight and silently started helping him.
-
"I see. Well, she won't last much longer if she doesn't get help." Clover said. "I could heal her slightly, if you'll let me."
Storme was well aware that Rock was only behaving because of Thalia, whom he assumed was Rock's mate. But then, Storme couldn't talk. He was keeping himself in check because of Clover. For someone so pleasant, she could be rather violent when angered, as proof by the state of his muzzle.
"Man, we are completely whupped by girls." he growled softly.
-
Storme shook his head slightly as he heard Rock agree with him, then watched as he interacted with his mate.
"What must it be like to have someone special like that?" he wondered to himself, a little jealous.
Clover smiled at her brother.
"Here." she touched his muzzle with her nose. "Sorry I bit you."
"Nah, sorry I was an *ss..." he muttered back.
-
Nikon flinched, more from the force of Dux's emotions than his words. He finally forced himself to look up at the alpha. To say that Dux was furious was an understatement. He didn't really understand what had happened completely himself. Finally he spoke.
"It seems that me forgetting my fire-control power has to do with the missing part of my memory." he muttered.
Nikon walked closer to Dux, then sat to his side, facing him and bared his throat at the alpha.
"I know, for what I have done, I can never be forgiven. I killed another wolf, my own brother, and am the cause of Zhara's state. My life is yours to take if you wish it."

Niko, the mage of the Fire temple, sat at a desk piled high with scrolls on magic. A flame-coloured wold lay on the hearth infront of the fire place and lifted it's head slightly as an old man put a kettle on the hob. Finally Niko couldn't take it anymore and slammed the scoll onto the table, making several others fall on the floor.
"Gah!! I'll never understand this, Syrus!" he gritted through his teeth.
The old man, Syrus, chuckled.
"You always say that, young Nikolis, and you always succeed in the end." he turned to him. "Why don't you leave those scro;;s and take a rest. The tea's almost ready."
