So...I need someone to hold my hand. I'm new to this whole thing. I mean, I know how to rp and all. I've been doing that for years. I'm just new to...*gestures awkwardly to everything* yeah. Um...I'm not so sure what to do at all, or how to make friends. I'm a weird child. I'm supposed to be 17, but I act like a 13 year old...good year for me though. Seventh and eigth grade was pretty fun. Huh...getting distracted again, cool, anyways...if mybe I could get some helps to be learned sorts of fun things and whatnots - that'd be so very nice hehe. Maybe a not-so-awkward friend too heh.

I might accidently set the world on fire. Not really, but I'll sit here awkwardly staring at the computer screen, trying to figure things out without breaking something.

Ok...I'm slowly getting the hang of this. Maybe. Duct tape is always a good thing to have around - especially near me. I'm a bit deficit when it comes to technology...unfortunately. I am really not used to this whole layout with the site and all. It's a bit odd for me to figure out and navigate.

(Alright, I'm new here so...yeah. Hopefully I'm doing something right so far. It'd be awesome if I could get maybe four other people to rp here...so it'd kinda be like Wolf's Rain and all o.o but I'm cool with whatever.)

She laid there in the snow, watching the black silhouette of a bird circling around her seemingly lifeless body. There was a voice speaking to her, almost inaudible in the state she was in, but it was there - faintly. Ashi needed to get up, and make it to the nearest city, town - somewhere where she could get some help. Food would also be a nice thing to have since she hadn't eaten now in a few days. Her thick silvery-white fur was beginning to become grimy and dull despite the fact she as in the snow. Her paws ached from the running she was doing, but she knew she was so close. So, so very close to the sweet smell of flowers. She just needed to find whatever was makig the smell, and then she could find her way to Paradise.
Ashi reluctantly pushed herself up onto her paws, and began trudging through the snow. She could just barely make out the outlines of the dome on the horizon. At least a day’s travel at the pace she was going. But, she was so hungry, so cold, so tired. A nap wouldn't hurt. She needed to rest a little bit, right? Ashi gave in, and collapsed on the snow-covered ground, letting her exhaustion get the better of her. She promised herself she wouldn't sleep too long. The snow was still falling though, and if she wasn't found - she'd be buried in the snow. Right now, she was too worn out to care what would happen. She was going to find Paradise. It was calling for her, poking and prodding her to get up. She didn't though. Ashi stayed there in the snow, and let her clear blue eyes fall shut.

She could hear a voice speaking to her that belonged to a male. Ashi heaved in some of the cool winter air and slowly let it leave her body. Her eyes opened slightly to see another wolf there. Suddenly she had enough energy to do anything it seemed. Ashi's eyes widened as she jumped to her feet, becoming defensive around the stranger. "Yes, I am alright. I was only resting.", her silver-white pelt bristled some along her spine. He didn't seem like a threat to her, but who could be sure out here? She had to be ready for anything though in her search for Paradise.
"What do you want?", she asked him, keeping her guard up. Ahsi didn't want anything to happen like it had in the last dome, but then again that was some creepy city kid. Her dainty paws just barely matched the color of the snow, and she could feel the pain prickling inside her pads again. They were probably cracked from the dry, cold air and all the traveling she had been doing.

She was such a small kit for her age, and just learning how to walk. Her cries could be heard throughout the park as she called for her momma. Astrid was left in an old sewer pipe on the other side of the Thunderpath where her mother and brother laid dead. The poor kit didn't know that though, and she felt utterly helpless and abandoned. The whole world could probably hear the little thing crying and whining. Nothing would come for her, not her mom at least. Little Astrid finally gave up with a soft whimper as she stuffed her face into her paws. She must have done something wrong for her mom to leave her alone.
Astrid was a little, dark silver tabby with dainty white paws and a white tail tip. Her eyes peeked up over her paws to watch, in case her mother came for her, but like the hours before - nothing. Her pink little nose huffed out a breath of air, "I wasn't a bad kit'in." She mumbled to herself as she shivered. It was growing dark outside, and the shade from the trees didn't help Astrid any with the already cool, damp temperature just inside the pipe.

Ashi relaxed a little, letting her fur settle back down on her body. She tilted her own head to the side with curiosity. She could use some proper rest and definitely food, if it was available. "You want to help me?" She asked him cautiously. Her voice was now calm as she spoke, "Would you possibly live nearby, or at least know where I could rest for a bit? I suppose I could use help if you're still offering it." She said, kneading the snow lightly that lay under her paws.

Honey is a pure-bred Burmese cat, and used to be a kittypet. Her owner found out she was allergic to the young she-cat and let her go into the wild. She is only a little older than six moons. Her fur is cream colored with spots on it that are similar to the color of honey, giving her pelt a powdered effect. She has very large, expressive golden eyes. Her body seems to be built very delicately, and it looks like if you'd poke her - she'd fall over. She's very sturdy despite her appearance.

    Honey is:
    - Sweet
    - Friendly
    - Forgiving
    - Compassionate
    - Eager to learn and definitely naive

She can be a bit of a pawful when she gets excited, but mostly she is well-behaved and enjoys listening to others talk about anything. Because of that she is very understanding and forgiving, and tries to help others out if she can.

She leaned against his side for extra support as she walked along with him to his den. Ashi as actually quite little compared to the male wolf she was walking beside. "I'm called Ashi by the way. And, Thank you, I really appreciate your help." She spoke softly as she entered the cave. Half afraid that if she spoke too loud, her voice might make the whole thing collapse on her. It was warm and Ashi was so thankful for it after being cold for so long. She left her body flop onto the floor carefully as she heaved out a sigh.

Her nose flared some with the warm scent of rabbit. Ashi felt her mouth start to water, so she took a quick bie of the rabbit before she said anything. Something about being hungry makes everything taste so much better. "I was heading to the dome on the horizion." She told him after she swallowed the mouthful of meat. "Did you want any of this?" Ashi asked, looking down at the dead rabbit.

"It's just barely visible through the falling snow. It's at least a day or so away. I know it's where I need to go. I can smell it." She said between taking bites out of the rabbit. Ashi felt almost feral the way she was eating the rabbit, but at the moment she didn't care. She was hungry. She was quiet the rest of the time as she picked the rabbit apart, eating what she could of it.

In the apocalypse we normally follow the path of an adult survivor, or a group of people. Well, what about the children?
In the American Mid-west orphaned children have banded together to survive the zombie apocalypse. There aren't any adults around, and there hasn't been any since a few months after the out-break. The children live on a secured farm, and survive as best they can. Their leader is only 15 years old, and is barely keeping control over all the kids.

    Name: Anais "Ana Mattis
    Age: 15
    Gender: Female
    Crush: None yet
    Position: Leader
Other: She grew up as an only child, always wanting a little sibling. Her parents had happened to be out shopping when the out-break happened. They never returned, so after a few days, she left her home with what she needed. She had several close calls, but met an older couple. They lived on a farm, and one night zombies broke through their fences. Ana had to put them down. As the days went by people stopped by, and kids wandered in. She eventually set out signs saying where the little safe-zone was.

    Positions
Leader: Anais; she cares for the children, and tries to keep them safe. She also tries to teach them valuable things to help them survive.
Scout(s): Scouts, a bit obvious, but they travel with Raiders and Hunters when they go out to get supplies. They are generally the younger, faster children who can scope out an area quickly.
Hunter(s): They are the kids, normally a bit older, who know how to shoot a gun or use a type of weapon. They work as protection for Raiders and Scouts, but they can also hunt for food (animals).
Raider(s): They are the kids that gather the things the farm needs, and are pretty good at scavenging.
Guard(s): Guards work as the protection for the farm. They generally don't leave unless a Hunter is ill, and can't go on a raid. They have perches on the roof of the barn, farm house, and a few spots along the fences.
Babysitter(s): Normally the younger females who want to help take care of the kids that are too young to be Guards and too young to leave the farm.
Outsider(s): Adults or other bands of kids that they don't know.

"You'd like to come with me?", she asked excitedly. Her tail wagged slightly as she tried to smile. Ashi laid her head on her paws as she watched Thorn. She tilted her head to the side slightly, "You think I'm strange, don't you?" She asked him, being half serious.

She chuckled softly, shaking her head with his response. "Well, it's good to know I'm not strange then." Ashi quited as her light blue eyes traveled around the cave. It was a curious place, but a perfect place to live in this weather. "How long have you been alone, or how long has it been since you've seen another wolf?" She asked.

"That they do." She said softly, nodding in agreement. Ashi could relate to him in more then one way now. She was quiet for time as she thought, her blue eyes were closed slightly. "Have you heard of paradise?" She asked him finally after the silence had gotten to her.

"That's why I want to get to that dome. There's something there, or at least I feel like something's there that will help me get to paradise." Ashi asked, wagging her tail some. The fur on her tail dragging along the cave floor kicked up some dirt and made a small cloud. "It's supposed to be a huge meadow filled with Lunar flowers." She sneezed softly from the dust that her tail kicked up.

"Am I still hungry?" She repeated the question to herself before she answered. "I am, but I think I'll be fine for now." Ashi said, stretching her paws out in front of her. Her paws still ached and throbbed, and she just remembered how they hurt when she looked at them. She examined her paw pads, "I've been alone as long as I can remember. I had myself to care for me, and I've never spent time with another wolf if I wasn't fighting over food." She said, rolling onto her back.

Ashi watched as he chewed the berries and placed them on her paw pads. "You didn't have to do that, thank you." She said. Her stomach tensed natrually when she felt a paw poking at it. She laughed softly, playfully nipping at his paws. "I know what it's like to be alone, and to be abandoned. My whole pack was killed by hunters when I was young. I don't know why left me live though when they killed my siblings." She said, letting her paws hang in the air.

Ashi gave a quick nod, hearing that juice had drid into her pads. She rolled onto her stomach, stretching again before she stood up to see how her paws felt. They were already feeling a bit better which was good, so they'd soon be perfectly fine. "What do you do here since you're alone?" She asked Thorn, tilting her head slightly.
