Glistening eyes watched you as you made your way through the surprisingly large store, uneasiness settling over your shoulders like a heavy blanket. A tall man in dark clothing bowed to you formally before rising up again, towering over you. "Welcome to my fine store, may I offer you something for a lady fair? Or perhaps a collectible for yourself?" He smiled darkly before turning around and pulling out a shoe box, placing it upfront of you and removing the lid. Inside was a beautiful porcelain doll with long blonde hair, pale blue eyes that stared into the distance, and cherry red lips. "This little lady is Arain, a fine girl who has been here ever since the beginning of this fine shop. Don't be shy, you may hold her."
As you lift her to the light, you see a small symbol patterned on her forehead. A strange-looking mark that appeared similar to the letter A. You ask what it was, but the man waves a hand in dismissal. "I believe she is not suitable for you, so come, let us check in the back." He sets the doll back in the box and slides her on the top shelf corner, then you both walk to the back. Later that night you come into the shop and look around, appalled that the man wasn't there. The box was on the desk, the lid partially opened, enough space for you to see one of the doll's pale blue eyes staring at you expectantly. You take the doll out of the box and place some money on the desk before walking out, watching the doll's beautiful eyes sparkle in the street light's rays.
What you didn't know about this doll was that it held a strange curse within it, and once you took it home, something happened. A strange, pulsating darkness shrouded you in its mists. You dropped the doll on the floor, but it did not shatter. It stared at you for a few seconds before blinking, and you jumped backwards as it stood up on its own. "Thank you human for taking me out of that prison, now I bid you farewell, for we may not see each other again." Arain made a small bow before skipping outside and leaving you in your house. Not too much longer the other dolls you seen in the shop were wandering the streets, some of which fighting the other dolls and some murdering the humans. Only one stood out to you. A small girl doll with long black hair and dark brown eyes who looked too lifelike to be porcelain. She peered in your direction and gave you a short smile before disappearing into the street's shadows.
Later that night you made your way back to the store unnoticed and asked the man how to reverse the curse. "I can do nothing for your mistake, but the doll you released can fix it. Just find Arain and bring her to me." With a grin the man left, and you sat there in a daze.

Lol, I'll make it so that Dio likes Aya as well, I mean, he did bless her in the game before she left and he sacrificed himself for her.

Okay then, I'll go ahead and make the roleplay thread tomorrow, *dramatic voice*, for tonight the darkness has shrouded us, and only the warm flames of your heart burn on, my love! *Totally took that out of Shakespeare*

Dio stood in a small wooden cabin, his tousled blonde hair swept to the right side of his face where his bloodied bandages covered his missing eye. The dolls had destroyed most of the town, searching for humans to kill in their wake, but the remaining survivors had gathered here without the evil assassins knowing. One of the survivors caught his eye, and he already knew very well to protect the girl named Aya.

Arain watched as her brothers and sisters roamed the broken houses, her legs swinging back and forth from the perch she sat on. London bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down. London bridge is falling down, my fair lady. A building then collapsed, the dolls who were once inside it panting in relief that they were lucky to have escaped.

Shana dressed a human's wound carefully and gently, not mercilessly and destructively. She liked the human race, they were so inspiring, so determined to build higher and better. Surely the other dolls must have a better reason for trying to destroy them? Was it jealousy or hate? Or was it just a pure hatred that ran in their blood and bones?

"Be patient, Alicia, she's bound to show herself sooner or later. What with all of this progress, she could be in the next house to the left." Arain raised both of her hands and the dolls below ran to the house she motioned, bashing the walls until the building, too, collapsed. Soon enough we shall find you, and then you will know what pain we have felt, watching our friends and family suffer, or past pets die in the same rooms as before. You shall feel our pain.

Shana peered around the corner of an alley, her gaze held still on the others. She had to somehow get away from them, and get to the other humans before it was too late. With one of her porcelain hands, she took out her dagger, which was about the same as a katana in their eyes.

Dio leaned back into the shadows as a stitched doll waddled past, a human's bloodied hand on their back. It was chaos here, and he only hoped to see Aya through it. Her mother would be most heartbroken if anything happened to her treasure, and so would he.

Arain jumped up so quickly, it almost seemed like she would loose her balance and shatter on the hard pavement below. "That's her! That's HER!" She gasped, pointing the the dark-haired girl. "Don't just stand there, get her you morons!" The dolls below were as confused as ever, and they waddled around trying to figure out that the person Arain was talking about was on the other side of the wall.

The blonde youth's atmosphere lightened as he saw her: short black hair, the blood-red bow, her old maid's outfit, and her crystal blue eyes. He waved to her and glanced around, only to see that the doll from the shoe box was pointing at her. Dio quickly made his way down the steps and over to her. "Come on, we have to hurry before they get here." He said softly, his expression stoic.

"Yes, unfortunately." Dio replied quietly, almost looking as if he was going to be ill. "I thought surely that this would all be over, but perhaps something went wrong in the process... I can't point out what it was though." He frowned slightly, but then smiled again once they got into the cabin. "Well, let's leave the past behind us. We have some unwanted visitors coming, and I have a place you can be safe in." He opened a small secret door under the carpet in the kitchen (lol) and motioned for them both to get inside.

The doll threw a fit- and a few pots- and ran downstairs behind Alicia. It took her three thousand years to discover how to stop the evil human race, and she wasn't going to let that dream be destroyed by slow passerby tourists!

Shana noticed that they were all in motion, heading towards a single wooden home. Her blue eyes caught on Aya's form and she quickly made her way around towards the back of the house, she had to get inside to help them.

"Foolish human, all of you should die!" Arain screamed in fury, allowing miniature chainsaw to start. She lashed it through the air a couple times to measure the weight before stepping forward.

Dio blinked and then glanced around. "Where is your maid?" He asked curiously.

Shana stood on a trashcan in the back and started to undo the lock, which was very complicated for fingers that could break easier than a human's.

"LIAR!" Arain shrieked, running towards the house with the chainsaw lashing through the air.

Dio closed the door behind them and locked all of the locks before opening the trap door and ushering them inside.

Shana opened the window with a mute click and then slipped inside, locking it once more. The cabin was nice on the inside with soft furniture and a wide-screen television.

"Back out of the way before you break yourself, or me for that matter." Arain snarled, the chainsaw purring.

Shana crawled across the deep burgundy carpet and hid behind the wall, watching as the humans made their way into a hiding spot.

Dio climbed down after them, slowly shutting the door and locking it, then lighting a candle and following them closely.

Dio knelt opposite of them and nodded. "They want to kill Aya because she changed them into dolls, they'll kill anyone who gets in their way." He frowned, adn for a second his hazel eye went to the daughter.

Shana covered the door with the carpet and hid in the sink cabinets.

Arain put the chainsaw on full power and let it break through the wooden door, aiming to cut a hole for them to get through.

He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Why don't you let time pass them by? Pictures are a new way to keep their beauty eternal, or you can make copies of them." Dio smiled warmly at her, his hazel eye gleaming with reassurance.

Dio looked up and ignored her last statement. "How are you to do that?" He asked.

Shana smiled, proud of her cover, before she tripped and knocked her elbow on a teacup with a click.

Arain pushed the wood through and walked in. "SICK THEM OUT!"
