Between resting after his journey and f*cking dealing with Seafoam, Gajeel had been napping a lot lately and this was not a good thing to interrupt. The ebony African lion came upon the hut where all the racket was coming from, his irritated expression fading slightly at the mess he found inside. Lunging forward, Gajeel aimed to pin the tiny feline down to stop her from hurting herself further. "Sh*t girl, stop."[/justify]

Ah, it wasn't like she knew who she was asking to do this. There were only a few Sunclanners now that knew what Gajeel had done before his life in Sunclan. That included killing and maiming a few of Sunclan. He wasn't about to do that sh*t again. Especially now that they were his clanmates. [/justify]

    [justify]The cocky smirk slid off of his face as Sebastian's furious eyes bored into his skull and was replaced with a rather stony expression. Despite Seb being a teeny little thing compared to himself, Gajeel wanted, almost dearly, to take a step back or even leave to escape the bundle of wrath in front of him. All the feelings he had expected from Seb was laid out in front of him and even with all of his preparations, Gajeel felt himself floundering for an excuse instead of the truth he intended to tell.


    He had to leave to protect everyone, that was what he told himself day after solitary day. When he pulled the trigger to end someone's life but to safe his own. When he slept in a dumpster during a rainstorm. What else was he supposed to do? He had left his past behind when he met Sebastian, Fawn and the others. His past had allowed him too much breathing room, allowed him to feel safe before lunging forward and snapping him up in its jaws.


    Unable to hide a wince as Sebastian's finger pushed into his chest, Gajeel shifted to the side so he was being poked on the right side of his chest. It hadn't been too bad, getting shot, but it was still sore to sh*t and healing slowly. "Still got that spunk," remarked the brute instead of responding to Sebastian's hurled questions, pushing the smirk back onto his face to cover the momentary flinch of pain. But that faltered too easily. "I didn't want to leave," added Gajeel lowly, his gaze no longer locked on Seb but rather the wall behind him. [/justify]

The massive African lion plopped himself down on a rock, a yawn stretching his maw as he cast his ruby gaze over the border. He probably looked like a character you would find in Bloodclan or the Exiles given his melanistic coloring, a mangled black mane and the rows of metallic piercings lining his body. Ah well, hopefully they used their noses first. [/justify]

Of course, the metallic armor looked more appetizing to the metal muncher as a snack as opposed to functional use. While he would have been depressed over the vacant spot left, Gajeel wouldn't have blamed him if he did. He had been gone for so long and yet Seafoam presented him with a damn kiss. He didn't deserve this in the least. "I suppose I really outta explain myself, huh?" remarked the ebony beast quietly, his brow furrowing as the weight of the guilt he felt began to show on his face.

Gajeel didn't do much in response to Seafoam's actions, just poked the top of his head with his muzzle lightly. He was a touch glad that Seafoam had mentioned the kitten thing. Eugh.
