Unknown to others, Flick knew what the dog was saying. In his younger years when his dad had kept him in a cave to train, the tom's father had brought in a dog. It was a younger dog, only a bit larger than Flick himself, and already injured in the hind leg. Flick's father had kept the dog as prisoner for training between Flick and his brother. A moon the dog was there, and Flick had picked up bits of it's foreign language. "Help, why would a dog need help?" The tuxedo mewed to himself, deep within his own thoughts.
Following Damage and the other toms, Flick was surprised by the vision before him. Not only entranced by the smell of blood, something that always got him riled up, he was interested in this dog. He'd only seen a handful, mainly remembering the young labrador held captive in his father's den. This dog was sickly and skinny, obviously not made for fighting. The black and white solid had the urge to make those wounds worse, but followed the deputy's order instead.
Making his way to the front of the greyhound, the Cavewarden examined the necklace carefully. It seemed rather thick and was a collar of some sort. He'd seen these on stray kitty pets before, they usually had a silver pendant with writing or a symbol on it. This one, however, held another pocket or something instead of one small object. Wide jaw open, Flick grinding his sharp canines into the leather, not caring if the animal made any whimpering sounds. A snarl broke from him as his efforts seemed nearly uneffective. "Whatever this is, it is rather strong. We'll need all of your teeth." He mewed, directing the statement at Inheritance and Charon.
