Reedpaw blinked, confused. "Was that a dead cat?" He asked Badgerleaf.
A large light gray tabby with fiery amber eyes sulked along the shadows of a tall tower of cars. Scar crisscrossed his face and flank, and he padded with a slight limp. His gaze was challenging, daring anyone to approach him.
BUMP. -_-
OOC: Thanks! I thought I was gonna be forever alone. ;_;
Well, anyways, there's this cat. He's pretty shady and acts sketchy all the time. His past is shadowed and he's mean on the outside but extremely soft on the inside. xD.
The cat whipped around, eyes flashing. He growled and lashed his tail, stalking up to the strange new cat. "Who are you?" He demanded, claws unsheathed.
He snorted, sniffing Angel. She didn't seem like a threat. He was still suspicious., anyways. He flicked his gray tail softly. "Why are you here?" He asked, narrowing his intimidating amber eyes.
He jerked his head and looked around. The cars towered around him, the junkyard was filthy. Shadows flickered at the edge of his vision. But, this was his home, now. He sighed and gave Angel a look of envy. She didn't have to hide, did she? No. Not everywhere she went, watching her back, waiting to get jumped. He snarled and glared at her. The sun was setting and the sun reflected off the rusting cars, partially blinding him.
He hesitated, then nodded. "Yes. Of course, I might not live here tomarrow." He shrugged and started padding away.
Callum, a small light gray wolf padded along a gravel path, her blue gaze icy and unwelcoming. Behind her, her brother, Cole looked just as amoral. Scars ran along both of their flanks, and Cole had one long scar on one dark green eye. Callum sniffed the air and growled. "I smell wolf." She snarled at Cole. They both stopped, tails erect.
The cat heard her clumsy footsteps and stopped, sighing. He turned around and gritted his teeth. This is a bad idea... He told himself, but ignored the small voice. "Do you... Do you need somewhere to stay?"
He looked down, then flicked his tail, beckoning her to follow him. He led her to a part in a nearby car that was so rusted it made a small entrance. He squeezed through it, trying to wriggle his wide shoulders, only barley managing. The motor inside the car was flat, making sort of a spot to rest. There was some stale moss and rat bones. He swept them away with his tail, embarassed. "Um.. Sorry about the mess..."
He nodded and curled upon some old moss, faced away from Angel. And then he remembered he hadn't told her his name yet. He shrugged and tried to doze off but couldn't quite. He scratched the rusty floor absent-mindedly.
BUMP. -____-
The cat yowled in surprise as he felt a hard kick in his back. He got up and whipped around, eyes blazing. "What is your problem?" He snarled, then relized she had just had a bad dream.
He took a step forward, usually hard amber eyes soft and apologetic. "I'm sorry. What's wrong?" He gave her a sad look.
He didn't really know what to say, so, he touched his nose to her ear lightly.
The dark cat growled and covered his ears. "Shut up!" He yowled grumpily. Suddenly, he smelt and unfamiliar scent and shot up, bumping his head on the hood of the car. He snarled and leaped out of the car, plowing into the new cat. He rolled around for a bit, then jumped up, still on top of her. "Who are you?" He growled.
Reedpaw's mouth was slightly gaping. He shook his fur and looked at her sternly. "You never answered my question..." His brown tail was trembling.
