Sootpaw takes off in a quick stride keeping up with her. "You got to move faster if you want to win." he grinned looking over at her.

He grinned, then pushed himself to almost his full speed, closing the gap quickly, then began to pull ahead of her. He glanced over at her with his smirk as he meowed "See you at sunningrocks Silv" Crash!!! he slammed into a tree cause he wasn't paying full attention as to what was ahead of himself. "ooooooooo......." he grunted.

Sootpaw shook his head a little, laying there for a moment longer. "I... think I'll be fine..." A moment later he finally drags himself to his paws giving his head a good shake. "Who thought it a good idea to grow a tree right there?" He glared at the tree, but also had a little smirk. "Next time grow elsewhere."

He presses lightly into her and meows softly "That's what I get for trying to show off after all." He glances ahead of them, seeing sunning rocks just a few tail lengths away. "Lets go side by side, and make it a draw."

He walked right beside her smiling as he did so. He felt like he could trust her with anything. He wanted to share his innermost dark secret with her, but he felt now wasn't the right time. "When was the first time you ever been to sunningrock?"

He felt really happy, getting to be at sunningrocks with Silverpaw on her first time. He chuckled as she sneezed. "I'll take that as you never tried a fish before either. I can catch you one." He had learned how by secretly watching Riverclan several times, then trying it when he knew they weren't patrolling the area.

He looked across the river as he approached it quickly, scenting the air. "Good, they already passed by." He got to the river and sat looking down into it pretty close to the surface, a paw close to its surface, claws extended. Not much time passed when his paw shot down into the river and back out of the water. A fish flew onto the bank and began to flop around. He shot over to it gripping it into his mouth. He proudly strutted over to Silverpaw placing it down at her paws. "A lovely fish for a lovely cat." He realized he said that out loud and began to blush glancing away.

He was really blushing intensely now "You... your welcome" He leaned forward quickly and licked her cheek smiling a little more. "I enjoy being around you...more so then... other cats."

"Yeah let's sleep at fourtrees tonight, it'll be a good end to a great adventure. Maybe we can find a badger along the way." Sootpaw smirked.

ooc~ sorry about last night, almost fell asleep at the pc lol

Sootpaw purred his amusement. "I'll try not to. So are you and Lakepaw ready for this adventure?" Then he turned and bounded off going at a casual stride towards Four Trees.

Night nodded, thought for a moment, then meowed "That's quite the short story."

Sootpaw grinned. "This time I won't hold back, ready? set... go!" He took off like the wind disappearing out of sight before Silverpaw even took a step.

Night smiled politely. "Have you lived here all your life?" He meowed curiously.

Sootpaw let out a surprised meow as he tumbled down the hill with Silverpaw. During the roll he predicted quickly the speed and slope of the hill, and tried to time it so he would end up on top pinning her down.

Sootpaw purred in amusement "You let me pin you down I can tell."

Sootpaw steps off scenting the air. "That smell.... is familiar...." His fur stood up on end as he hissed lightly.

Sootpaw shook his head. "That scent... is like...."

A cat suddenly emerges from the other side of Fourtrees with a big smirk. "Long time no see... nephew."

Sootpaw shot right at him hissing fiercely clawing at his muzzle.

The cat stood on his hind legs swatting Sootpaw in the head knocking him to the ground then stepped on Sootpaws neck holding him down, then glanced over to Silverpaw. "Your quite the adorable one." Then the cat took off disappearing into the woods.

Sootpaw laid there choking for a moment.

Sootpaw gets to his paws glaring towards where the cat disappeared. "I can't believe he's still alive." he hissed.

A few licks of his cheek calmed him down. "Silverpaw... I got a dark secret..."

Sootpaw glanced away. "When I fight... it thrills me... It makes me excited.... I... tend to... lose control... a few moons ago... I... killed a city rogue..." He looked ashamed of himself.
