    ic;; daichi subconsciously walked out of the camp and towards the tree of beginning. he searched for the deva that came and clinged to the herbs that he normally tended to. with care and precision he watered each small frond, the deva moving slightly to allow him to do so. he searched for the next deva when he was finished with the first, and picked some catmint. after picking it he again watered the plant to make sure it would grow again. daichi did this everyday; it was his morning routine. he had never gone a day without doing and if he did, he would send out Marjorie or Westoria to do it for him; they never did as careful as he did but it would have to do if he was busy helping a queen give birth to her kits, or treating someone with whitecough.


    daichi padded back into camp with the catmint and a few other herbs. he set them in the medicine den, he would ask Westoria or Marjorie to sort them later. he padded over to Maple wanting to talk with some cat. i hope i'm not interrupting your thoughts but i thought you might want to talk. daichi smiled and tilted his head a little, hoping to get a conversation started with the she-cat.
