Bertholdt felt the transformation a split second before it occured, the cells in his body multiplying at an exponential rate. Soon, the people beyond the walls were reduced to the size of ants, scurrying about their daily lives as if nothing had yet happened. His hand reached for the wall, clutching the hard material hard enough to force cracks through it. Gazing down over the panicking residents, he felt somewhat distanced, as if he were just re-enacting a scene of a play. Nestled inside the nape of his titan, he could feel his forehead glazing with sweat, the exertion of maintaining such a powerful form taking its toll. He lifted his foot a few metres, then swung it towards the wall. Immediately, a giant chunk of wall was displaced, forming a hole big enough to accomodate the titans that were already pouring in. His part of the mission was complete. However, he did not feel fear or guilt. Those feelings would come later, and he was not anxious to feel such a thing. For now, he focused his attention on preventing his titan form from dissipating.

Callista glanced around, her stance relaxing as she realised that most of the enemy soldiers were dead or severely wounded. However, she did not dare sheath her sword for fear of another surprise attack. She made her way over to Levyi and Adrian, wiping the blade of her sword on a torn piece of fabric that she discarded a moment later. She contemplated Levyi's question, but her mind was still scattered from the fight to formulate any sort of recognisable plan. "Umm.. Maybe we could start heading towards one of the least likely exits?" she asked, knowing that her suggestion was not even worth pondering.

Her knowledge of the building was sparse, much like her understanding of most subjects. She vaguely knew her way around the main area, but apart from that, she could not provide any useful information. The sound of a shot being fired made her jump, and she spun towards the direction of the noise. Seeing that it was Levyi who had just fired, Callista tried to act indifferent, turning away abruptly to avoid the sight of a dead body. Her eyes roamed the walls and ceiling, reluctant to settle on bloodstains or the corpses that littered their feet.
