Hopepaw's heart raced with nervousness. She trusts me to hunt on my own? She must be wanting to see what I know. thought the she-cat to herself. Lifting her nose, she sniffed the air, at first not smelling anything. Suddenly, the smell of a rabbit hit her and show turned in the direction of the scent. Hopepaw lowered her figure into a stalking crouch and slowly made her way over to where the rabbit was. When she caught sight of the rodent, she immediately stopped. Hopepaw watched the rabbit for a while, making sure it didn't see her before she stalked a little closer. Her paw made contact with a twig and it snapped. The rabbit quickly turned tp look in her direction, but Hopepaw gaze it no chance to run. She leaped out of the bushes and landed on the hare. She felt it squirm under her paws and she had to hold on tight because she had not landed accurately on top of the hare. Biting down onto its neck, Hopepaw finished it off and waited for it to stop squirming before stepping off of it.

The white and orange tabby purred with appreciation. "Thank you." She watched with interest as her mentor stalked and chased after a squirrel, easily killing it off.
Someday, thought Hopepaw to herself, I'm gonna be just as fast and strong as Flamewing. She couldn't help but smile at the thought.

Crowheart lifted his head from the river and ran his tongue around his lips, cleaning off the water. He pushed himself up onto his pads and stretched out his muscles. He could feel the eagerness radiating off of his apprentice.
"Alright, Fangpaw. Your going to learn some offensive battle moves today." The black warrior padded over to the small clearing where they would begin their trainning.

Ravenstripe smiled back at the two warriors and lowered his belly to the ground. "Well, it's not going to well." The warrior sighed softly and groomed his chest fur. "It's most likely because of the season. Leafbare doesn't promise many meals. But thank you for asking." The tom purred appreciatively as he relaxed beside Flameclaw and Blazepelt.

Wildstripe padded out of the warrior's den and stretched out the muscles in his legs. He saw Larkpaw out of the corner of his eyes where she was calmly sitting beside the entrance. His ice blue eyes glistened with a hint of joy to be training his new apprentice and the silver tabby shook out his pelt before turning towards the she-cat. His gaze looked Larkpaw over as the end of his tail flicked with anticipation.
"Hello, Larkpaw. Would you like to do some hunting or battle training today? I'll let you decide."

Bearclaw paced the underbrush, mumbling to himself about how late his apprentice was. His close friend, Darkfoot, who had decided to join the two cats on their training, was fast asleep curled up in the large roots of a tree. Bearclaw's long hair whipped around in the breeze as his grumbles of irritation continued.

Crowheart stood across from his apprentice in the clearing, his tail flicking with the inner eagerness to train. He could tell the young tom was distracted. "To expect the unexpected. When going onto offensive, you must learn how to use your enemy's qualties against them."
Crowheart watched as his apprentice listened to two things at once, him being one of the two. Maybe he was plotting a secret attack, maybe he was half listening, but either way, he was distracting himself. The black tom sprang and landed ontop of the apprentice, pushing him back to the ground. The ice blue gaze of the warrior looked down into Fangpaw's own eyes.
"Concentration is the key. Don't allow yourself to get distracted for one moment. That could end up being your last." Crowheart slowy stepped off of Fangpaw, allowing the tom to get back up.

Lionsong looked over at his apprentice. "I'll have to tell you some time. It's really interesting." He turned his gaze back over to the Snakerocks. "This is the second most dangerous place, other than the Thunderpath of course."

Wildstripe nodded, his ears twitching as they picked up all the noises around them. Her chose was very responsible one, and he noted her care for her clan. He nodded back once before stating softly, "Well, then. Follow me." Wildstripe turned and padded into the woods, hoping his apprentice would follow.
Typical Wildstripe; hardly verbal at all. He was able to get his points across to just about any cat by giving them the simplicity of a look. That was one of his qualities. He flicked his tail as he walked, scenting the air for prey.

Crowheart stood with his chin tilted, his gaze fixed on his apprentice. "When you are doing offensive moves, you have to be ready for any kind of defensive counters." A flick of the black tom's tail motioned for Fangpaw to come at him.

"Because an unlimited number of adders live here. Adders are really large snakes that usually make their meals out of apprentices." Lionsong looked around, his gaze sweeping the area to see if there were any out. At the moment, there wasn't, but that didn't mean they weren't hiding under the rocks.
