Sky nodded and looked at her. "Yes." She flicked her tail softly and glanced over at Jumbo. She shifted slightly and turned an ear toward Shadow as he had a one sided conversation with the other cat.

Sky nodded, smiling softly at her. "It's very nice to meet you, Tigerstripe." she flicked her ear softly and sat down.

Shadow frowned and looked from Awrenfur to Smokey. He sighed and shook his head. "Do you speak?" he asked, tilting his head at the quiet she-cat.

Smokey nodded and opened her mouth. "I do, yes." she whispered, looking away.

Sky purred softly and blinked warmly at Jumbo. She smiled softly, "Thank you." she murmured, curling her tail over her paws.

Sky tilted her head slightly and glanced over at the two again. "She has been here since we came I believe." The she-cat mewed. She didn't remember the other actually talking to anyone though. She had been in the same spot.

Smokey lowered her head a little and looked away from Shadow. "How can you know they can be trusted?" She whispered, glancing around the camp.

Shadow tilted his head and frowned. "What do you mean? You think they're faking kindness? That would be dumb. It would be easier to chase us out from the beginning." He tilted his head at the way Smokey acted. It was almost like she didn't like being around them, or even speak to him. It was hard to hear her from how quiet she was even though he was right in front of her.

Karkat was curled up in a box with his tail curled around him as he shivered. He didn't know how long he had been out there, he didn't bother paying attention, that only made it worse. He did know that he was cold and hungry. So many people had passed him by he stopped trying to get their attention. There was no point. Who would want him anyway? So here he was, curling in a tight ball, pressed against the back corner of a cardboard box, forced to lose the though facade as he whimpered softly, trying to block out the cold.

Karkat hadn't notice that he had been picked up and taken some where but he did notice the warmth of someone's hands and the softly fabric wrapping around him, slow lying his shivering and helping him relax a bit as the cold slid out of him. It would take a while for him to get completely warm, but this was a good start.

He still lay asleep, purring softly not that he was warm. There were warm smells around him too. He couldn't wake up though, it was like something was holding him down. His purring stopped at this fact, almost knowing what would come next. He tensed as the terror started, images flashing in his mind. There wasn't anything that could be made out, at least nothing he would remember. He twitched in his sleep and whimpered, his body finally deciding to help out in his fight to wake.

Skyeyes shuffled her paws of the snow, dragging them softly as she walked. She could hear the others talking but decided to stay away for now. They sounded like were deep in a conversation and she didn't want to interrupt.

Tinytail padded out of camp, sniffing the air once he left. He looked around before deciding which way to go, his black fur standing out against the snow. He flicked his ears as he walked, listening to the quiet noises around him as he stared forward.

Tinytail padded throught the snow, fluffing his fur up against the cold. He sniffed the air and came to a stop, smelling the faint scent of a snow rabbit. Slowly creeping in the direction of the scent he sighed sadly when he realized the scent was stale.

Skyeyes padded just out of camp and sat down, curling her fluffy tail around her paws. She closed her foggy eyes and raised her head towards the sky, her breath billowing out and up into the pale sky. She let her ears fall back as she relaxed, sitting there in silence.

Skyeyes flicked her ear as the others pass, letting them know she heard them. She didn't speak, enjoying the peaceful feeling she had.

Tinytail nodded to Fruitfrost and Hawkfire as they passed, turning the other way as he tried to find another scent.

at the touch of her hand and the sound of her voice, Karkat was ripped out of his sleep. He let out a gasp and went ridged, looking up at her. The last thing he remember was being in the box and now he was here, looking up at the girl that woke up. He fluffed up his fur, sliding his hind paws back a little to see what was behind him. His thin tail twitched as he started to back up.

His bright red eyes stared up at June as he slunk backwards. He looked around, quickly scanning the room. There was still the warm smell of coffee and milk. He sat up a little and watched her, his eyes wide and his dark grey ears folded back.

((tinytail is also hunting and skyeyes is just relaxing because I have no idea what to do with them right now.))

Tinytail bounded through the snow, his paws leaving a trail as he went. He couldn't smell anything else around so he thought a nice run would be good. The black furred cat raced through the trees, jumping over small mounds of snow and sliding down the back of them with a laugh.

Skyeyes almost fell asleep in her spot just outside the camp. She listened to the murmur of the clan behind her ad the silence of the world around her. Maybe a walk wouldn't be bad. A walk through the quiet world, just out side the borders where there is no one to break the calming silence.

Smokey shrunk away from Silverpool, shifting uncomfortably. Her eyes widened when she heard Jumbo's last remark. She didn't want to fight, she hated fighting. Returning her gaze to Silverpool she lowered her head a little, murmuring an almost inaudible hello.

Karkat sat up straight and looked up at her, his eyes narrowing quickly. "I'm not small." He growled softly, his bright eyes glaring up at her as if he was dating her to say something else. Yes, maybe he should have been nicer considering she brought him in. He could've died out there after all. That didn't change anything though. Anyone could have picked him up, he didn't know wether to trust her or go hide under one of the things in her house. He wasn't going to run away! What was he thinking! He's not a coward!

He shook his head a little, clearing his thoughts and he stood up and stretched, leaving forward to sniff the milk. He sat back and huffed, pulling the cup closer to him and sticking his face in the top to drink out of it. He raised his head again and looked back at her, darting his tongue out over his lips.
