Nightsky's ears went up as she started to talk again, he listened. He sat down as she spoke and thought about her words, he remembered his mother telling him of the pack wolves that would ambush them, though he'd never heard of the pack wolves doing it to any other packs. Then he heard another voice, a younger one, one from a pup. His almost blinded eyes blinked "does she have pups?"he asked aloud.

He ears went up, she never thought of that. She used her paw to write the letters until they spelt "Nightsky"

Nightsky smiled "it's a pleasure hearing hem from you. And I know, I remember when I was a kit and an apprentice I would always want to hear an elders legend"

"How does it feel to defend your clan?"

Lucky gave another close to silent bark.
Blaze smirked.

She smiled.

His head turned to her voice "hello my name is Nightsky"he said. He stood up and took a step closer "are you the one who's been telling the stories?"he asked squinting his eyes to try and see her, though he could only see mostly darkness.

Nightsky laid down as she listened to the tale "have you forgotten them also?"she asked with her head slightly tilted.

Nightsky took a step backwards "I mean no harm"he said his ears going back as she growled at him. With his poor eyesight he couldn't tell she was showing her fangs, so he didn't see the full threat. He moved so his body was closer to the ground "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you"he said with a small tone. His blind eyes still looked to where he thought she was.

She smiled and nodded, it was the only way for her to repeat the greeting

"What was it like to teach an apprentice?"

Lucky's tail wagged too.
Blaze chuckled at his son
