For a minute she just stared blankly at the tom. "What?" Slowly Asterfall's posture began to relax from it's defensive stance and she sank back on her haunches, raking a shrewd stare across Gohans face and seeing the emotions there, she relented with a sigh. "Have you?" Aster merely deflected his question. "Is that what this is about?" Irritation flashed briefly across her face at another arrival though she quickly shook it off.

"Well, don't leave us in suspense! What is it?"

This was something that you didn't run into every day.

"Really?" Aster mewed hesitantly, violet-blue eyes containing a mix of curiosity and skepticism and she leaned towards Gohan a bit as if she was inspecting him. " Wait, how do you even know this? Isn't the entire point of reincarnation that the person who was reincarnated doesn't know that they were...reincarnated?" That was a mouthful.

"I don't want to freak you out or anything..." Aster exhaled, lifting her shoulders in a shrug, her eyes fixed at a spot just beyond the apprentices head. Looks like it's going to have to be me after all. "But it sounds to me like you're pregnant. Possibly. See a medic." But just the moment that she confessed this Avrae came out of nowhere and all his shouting drowned her out. Aster gaped at the dragon as he practically exploded all over them in excitement.

"SHUT UP!" She aimed to pounce on his back and slap her tail over his mouth. "That's not how she's supposed to find out! Unless she's excited about it." Asterfall trailed off thoughtfully and looked at the apprentice. "Are you excited about it?"

"Uh..." She too wanted to know how Iridescent was confused about the whosits and whatsits of how all this worked. But it looked like she was in capable paws now that her friend how come along.

Bang, bang. The young warrior beamed internally as she watched Argentor slink away, clearly still miffed. Of course he was, he had just been chewed out by his leader in front of another clan. Aster shook off her perverse pleasure long enough to focus on what Gunstar was saying, awaiting a response from one of her higher ups.

These last few moons Aster had found that her ears were fine-tuned for certain words. Primarily food related words. In this case she heard 'smoothie' and 'as many as you want' and smoothie fell under the category of food right? The pregnant she-cat trotted across the way as fast as her plump belly would allow, already licking her whiskers when she stopped in front of Spindlypaw.

"Can I have a berry smoothie with honey bits?" Aster's eyes were round and bright with excitement. "Please?"

"Thanks!" She beamed, taking her smoothie. Aster didn't even bother with the straw, instead she hunkered down and scooped out mouthfuls of the stuff with her tongue. The cream tabby's pupils dilated as soon as the sweet mixture hit her mouth. "Omigosh this is sooo good!" She kneaded at the ground contentedly as she ate.

(It's bad. We're basically cursed right now.)

Asterfall watched the young cat wander about, clearly memorized by everything that she was seeing. It was almost a bit funny considering that the stranger wasn't even seeing ThunderClan at it's height. She had been watching this kittypet for a while, it certainly wasn't hard to find her with all the noise that she and her jingling collar made tramping through the woods combined with the heavy human scent. As the dusky hues on sunset washed over the territory Aster figured now was the best time as any to confront her. With an almost inaudible sigh the cream and white feline heaved herself to her paws and trotted out into the house cats path.

"What do you think you're doing?" Aster's mew was not half as confrontational as it could be, but it wasn't exactly friendly either.

(Yup! Dirt and rocks, basically. With a bunch of dead and/or dying trees and undergrowth.)

"Sight-seeing?" Aster meowed scornfully, twitching her tail out in a sweep at the ravaged territory in a rueful gesture. Whatever else she had to say was stopped as she swallowed a yawn and Aster's violet-tinged eyes narrowed for a mili-second. Carrying these kits took quite a bit of her energy and it certainly wasn't getting much better the further she was along. The young warrior sighed again, ready to head back home. "Look, miss. This is ThunderClan territory. You can't just wander about, that's trespassing and we're supposed to drive you out for that."

Clearly that wasn't going to happen. Asterfall looked Ruby over for a heartbeat before she continued. "So unless you plan on joining, you gotta go. You aren't lost are you? You know how to get back to your Twolegs?"

She let out an amused purr, scraping the last of her smoothie from the bottom of the cup before straightening and running a paw over her face. The sweet, sticky stuff clung to the fur around her mouth and her paws, filling her nose with berry-fruity scent. Asterfall stood up and made a beeline for the corn dogs next.

"Nice? I was being nice." The feline murmured simply sitting back and letting Spindlypaw take over. Seeing how the apprentice was practically emanating rainbows she gave her eyes a good-natured roll. "Just not that nice." Bad encounters with outsiders in the past had soured any possibility of Asterfall ever being able to greet them with open paws. Aster listened to their chatter for a while before she stood. "Well, you've got this handled. I'm going back to camp if anyone needs me." After a brief welcome and congratulations to Ruby she was off.

"If that means food then you're absolutely right." Asterfall only showed a smidgen of surprise at the sudden language change, busying herself with eating one of the two corn-dogs she had snagged. Aster flushed faintly under her fur at Spindlypaw's amused purr and her voice came out muffled as she talked around the bread: "I washn't always like dis, I shwear!"

"I was mouse-brained enough to get myself pregnant and my kittens are always hungry, even when I'm not." Asterfall's tone was light and amused in contrast to her words and she straightened, tapping the corn dog with a paw. Plus this is Twoleg food! It's irresistible."

So this was SunClan. Asterfall wasn't quite sure how she felt about the place just yet, it was certainly beautiful, especially compared to the harsh ruins that was ThunderClans territory right now. The air was warm and smelled sharply of salt as it ruffled her fur and made her squint her eyes against the pieces of sand that billowed with it. Her paws sunk into the sand itself with every step on the journey here and that had made it particularly difficult. They were at the bridge that Lava had told her about, the one that led down to the camp and she was sure that he'd be here soon to met his kits and lead them off into their new life here. As we agreed Aster reminded herself quickly.

"See, isn't the view here as pretty as I promised!" Aster chirped possibly too cheerfully to the kittens who were gathered around her paws, undoubtedly staring around all moon-eyed. Lowering her head she sat Plastickit down on the smooth wood of the bridge, next to his sisters. "Sit here and don't wander off. " The petite warrior said sternly, smoothing her tail over all three of her kittens heads affectionately. She followed her own advice, sitting down and waiting.

She snorted at her daughters response, feeling a familiar rush of exasperation and love. Lavarocks was going to have his paws full with her, that was for certain. "You're a lotta work, kid." Asterfall bit back a grin. "I know you don't know him yet but you will...and I've told you about him. This place will become your home, and then you'll never want to leave, trust me. " That was better than saying 'You're staying here because ThunderClan is a complete and total dump right now and I want to give you your best chance.' And it was 100 times better than saying that she barely even knew their father and this had all been pre-arranged before they were even born.

Aster gave a shrug in response to her own thoughts and turned a pensive gaze to the horizon.
