khione adonis, daughter of the known unitedpaw, trotted lightly out of the elder den, mind still spinning with the tales she had just been told. her paws barely making a audible sound, she continued on, getting a whiff of the smelly herbs from the medicine den. now they didn't smell all that good, but the little shekit knew that one day, they'd save her life. her silvery tabby painted muzzle wrinkled instinctively, but she made no fuss.

the sun was shining and it was seemingly a lovely, yet boring day. khione's ivory pelt felt warm in the sun, the blotches of painted silver tabby looking like night on her ice white coat. the silver tabby crept onto her sharp ears, and muzzle, making a interesting pattern. like she'd been rolling in dirt. but of course thats how she always was.

her always studying yet skeptical coffee brown eyes trailed over the camp lazily, mind drifting off, deep into the stories the elders had been telling her. maybe thats why she nearly ran over featherkit and radiokit.

wandering but not really realizing where she was going she quickly snapped back to reality, coming oh so close to running into both shekits. she stopped, feeling her cheeks get warmer and pinker. "i'm sorry!" she apologized, feeling silly and embarrassed. like some newborn kit, having no clue where she was going.

hearing the shecats compliment, khione felt warm inside, not many could compliment her on her loner name, of course, being in a clan it wasn't admired by many. realizing she should return the compliment she said, in a rushed voice, "but not as pretty as yours!" wow, she was such a kit. but her name was pretty.

the second laugh from the shecat made khione smile, well she obviously doesn't hate me... she thought idly. but she didn't really want to be amusing, but she had few friends, so she wasn't going to complain.

getting a bit of a surprise, she felt the shecat scoot closer to her and felt her coffee eyes get warmer, and stifled a chuckle at the older shecats kind comment. "good. because if you did, you'd have to be a badger," she smiled, feeling her eyes lighten with happiness. garnetcharm was a nice shecat.

at this response khione smiled, feeling warmth spread through her chest. not feeling like she had to prove herself anymore, she felt her body relax as she sat next to the shecat. casually, she lifted her left paw and gave it a swift lick, smoothing its unevenness.

the shekit gave a tiny giggle as she heard the joy in garnetcharm's voice. "you're far from a scary badger!" she exclaimed back, voice excited. giving a small ahem she calmed down. she would not be a silly kit now.

feeling a tad rude and silly, her coffee eyes studied the albino shecat, extremely interested. but alas, this kit craved knowledge. she watched her intricate red eyes in awe. my they were beautiful. in a exotic way of course. her mind spun with a million questions, all of which she felt were either rude or invasive. so alas, with her now serious coffee eyes she spoke carefully. "your eyes are very exotic, was your mother a albino as well?" now she meant for the first part, but the second part just slipped out.

"i'm sorry-" she began, not knowing what to say. it was a invasive, rude question, but she was curious. and her mind craved to know.

khione watched with high interest as the shecat appeared not to be offended. now, her tone was rather firm, but still held its friendliness as it had before. wondering, she felt her head spin. do i have a right? she thought, unsure of herself for a brief flash. blinking rather forcefully, she hushed her mind.

now, it was natural for kits to be curious. khione knew that, she herself being a kit she felt the desires. but, khione wasn't just curious, she craved any knowledge. fishing, swimming, fighting, stories, starclan, she wanted to know everything. heck, even if that included herbs. she craved to just learn, and use her knowledge. she loved to just, think. it was rather opposite from the carefree kit, but it was khione.

hearing the shecats voice again, her tabby ears perked with interest, coffee eyes deepening with thought. she repeated the response in her head my mother, yes. it seems to be very rare, because i've never seen another albino in riverclan her mind reeled, trying to remember everything the elders told her about previous cats of the clan. she didn't believe any of the stories included albinos, as, like garnetcharm had stated, they were quite the rarity. her remembering ceased and her mind changed directions. maybe this old shecat was from a loner family? maybe she wasn't a clan cat? her mind swirled, craving the answer to her never-ending mind.

realizing she had been completely immersed in thoughts, she had forgotten the shecat was even there. as it usually was just her and her mind. which she almost preferred to any company. but not wanting to seem rude, she quickly gathered her thoughts, coffee eyes still sharp and analytical from thinking. she spoke carefully, voice serious and almost firm for a kits. "thats very interesting," she started, not wanting to seem rude, nor uninterested, "as albino's are quite the rarity."

ittle khione adonis, daughter of unitedpaw, padded lightly out of the nursery, little paws barely making a audible noise. the little shekit looked ivory white at first glance, long coat clean and crisp. with a second look you could see her silver tabby patches, blotching her coat at random, also painting her sharp ears and muzzle. their intricate coal stripes over the soft silver, made a interesting combination. but the little shekit wasn't too caring about looks, not at her age at least. her skeptical coffee eyes watched the gathering of kits and lifeguards, hearing the call for any kits wishing to learn how to swim.

    learn to swim? absolutely.

the petite shekit quickly trod over, tiny claws sticking into the ground to make her stride crisp and stable. her mind reeled, trying to remember what the elders had told her about swimming. she ran over words in her head repeating them. always keep your head up, let the water do the work for you, paws not claws... after feeling like she successfully memorized the elders words of wisdom, she felt her insides claw at her throat. she felt like there were butterflies in her stomach, poking at her. she almost felt sick.

now she was excited for swimming lessons. her mind craved knowledge and swimming would be just like actual training. actually putting her knowledge to good use. swimming felt so real, and her knack for knowledge was truly satisfied for the time being. but, alas, the other half of her was filled with absolutely worry. she wasn't a fan of being in front of crowds, and she really just wanted to train privately. what if she messed up in front of so many eyes? she suppressed a shiver. too many cats was a tad overwhelming for the kit. she just hoped she'd be able to go off privately and try it for herself.

thats when she heard the call for everyone to get a partner and it pushed her back to reality. she gazed around wildly, eyes trying to find a empty lifeguard. she couldn't see any, all had kits beside them. feeling nervous and almost sick she was going to go back to the nursery when her knowledge cravings pushed her into the mass of cats, ending up near the beaver who was starting all this. justin she believed.

feeling shy and a tad nervous she looked around for a empty partner, feeling like no one was left.

feeling like there was no one left, the small shekit felt her insides tighten. what if she wasn't allowed to come because she didn't have a partner? disguising a sight as a snort she felt her features droop slightly. why was she so unlucky?

thats when she noticed a lean silvery apprentice making her way over from the crowd. she had seen the apprentice before, trying to place a name, she recalled through her memories. gallowspaw came to mind. yes, this apprentice was gallowspaw.

as the lifeguard came over she felt a sweep of relief flood through her, yes, she had a partner. the apprentice came down to her eye level, khiones coffee eyes brightened softly and gave a tiny smile. "i'd love to," she said crisply, straightening up as if she were a warrior. she stood obediently beside gallowspaw, just happy she had a partner.

as she felt everything around her, there was one this that was continuous, the pounding heat from above. she also felt the breathing of everyone around her, the squirming, the uneveness of breath, meaning a mew from another. another kit, she felt was squirming around, but not for long she pondered, as their had not wasted time helping out the mewling creature. even though she couldn't hear or see, she could practically feel everything.

    {meh, i don't know what to write as such a young kit. XD}

khione watched as garnetcharm appeared to be immersed in memories. she could tell by the slight haze over the shecats ruby eyes, like they were looking beyond reality. she mused at what memory she could be sunk in. anything really. she sat there, slipping slowly into her own thoughts, letting the shecat think.

her ears were slowly drawn upwards into a prick, as she listened to the shecats next words. another albino? she mused, interested. must be a family trait, she remembered the warriors talking about something like that. she gave a tiny smile at the shecats dreamy expression. "how intriguing that he was also a albino," she said softly, enjoying the small chitchat, which she-on a normal basis-didn't usually enjoy. this cat was interesting, and it made her think. and thinking was her favourite hobby.

other; i don't know that much about rushingclan, could you maybe give me a few pointers? :3
    im researching it now.
    i'd love to co-own. :)

the small shekit was not at all upset by the fact her trainer was blind, as, it didn't bother her at all. rather, she was intrigued by the apprentice. she wondered how much harder gallowspaw had to work, and she gave a kind smile to her trainer, knowing this was going to be a good session.

now her mind spun, questions about everything, her blindness for the most part. but also, what swimming was like. her mind craved the knowledge, but she knew their time together was quite unlimited, she could ask a few later, not wanting to seem like a rude and invasive kit who didn't know how to hold her tongue.

straightening up and puffing her chest slightly with confidence, she nodded and spoke as official as she could. "ready when you are," she smiled, feeling comfortable around the apprentice quickly, which was a bit of a rarity.

suddenly, another apprentice came over, one she wasn't quite sure the name up. the fawn tabby came over in a friendly stride, obviously happy to see gallowspaw. she felt her coffee brown eyes deepen in curiousity, as the apprentice gave her a kind smile. she felt her mind tug at her, but she pushed it away.

realizing the apprentice was talking to the other apprentice, she let her mind go, wondering what it would be like to swim.

she sat there, mind resting lazily into her thoughts, merely just enjoying the comfortable silence between the two. suddenly she heard the shecat speak again, slowly dragging her self out of the deep depths of mind. she felt pity for the older shecat, she'd be in awful sorts if any of her siblings left. her coffee eyes drooped slightly, sad for the poor garnetcharm.

she knew this wouldn't help, but she didn't know what else to say."don't give up hope garnetcharm," she said softly, sympathy in her slight voice.

ooc; meh, sorry for the lame post/low muse. i have to study for a big math exam. X-X

little khione adonis, daughter of unitedpaw, padded lightly out of the nursery, little paws barely making a audible noise. the little shekit looked ivory white at first glance, long coat clean and crisp. with a second look you could see her silver tabby patches, blotching her coat at random, also painting her sharp ears and muzzle. their intricate coal stripes over the soft silver, make a interesting combination. but the little shekit wasn't too caring about looks, not at her age at least. her skeptical coffee eyes quickly noticed the two kits outside the nursery. she felt her mind whirl a bit. she wasn't that much of a social butterfly, more of a thinker. but what else was there really to do? her eyes gazed across the camp momentarily, before returning her gaze to the two other kits.

she sighed and just sat down, not able to convince herself to go over to them.
