It's time to try defying gravity! I think I'll try defying gravity!
"You're crazy!" her mother cried.
"I'm not..." Hibiscus responded simply. "I'm going to join the clans."
"You can't! You'll die! Clan cats are savages, and would sooner be brutally slaughtered than let anything hurt their Clan! They won't trust you! They'll kill you! You hear me? Kill you!"
Hibiscus had only rolled her eyes. "Mama, they're cats, I'm a dog! They probably would fear me! And if they did attack, I could take them. Not that I'd be all too happy about it."
Her mother shook her head. "No, Iss, you don't understand! They have numbers far greater than you could imagine! They're one of the biggest Clans out there!"
The golden retriever/husky let out a very low growl at the puphood nickname her mother had just used. "Please, Mama, it's Hibiscus. I'm not two months anymore, I'm nine months! Almost an adult!"
"Almost! And until you are, I refuse to let you leave!"
"Oh really?"
Her mother hesitated, her blue husky eyes wavering, and then focused firmly on her daughter. "REALLY!"
Hibiscus only let out a laugh, and then charged past her mother, racing through the field of their Twoleg farm, and towards the wooden fence, not caring how badly she had probably just hurt her mother.
"Hibiscus! Come back!" her mother howled, tearing after her, but the mutt was already at the fence and had cleared it, running free on the other side, not daring to look back.
~.~
As the flashback ended, Hibiscus found herself sitting on the border of the ThunderClan territory. She was here now. No turning back. It was do or die. She wouldn't run, no matter what they did. She knew that this encounter could take many different turns, good or bad. And she will willing to face the consequences. All her life she wanted to be different in a good way, and make her life mean something, and maybe now she could something to the cats. She would serve as a guard, and protect them with her life. Plus, a dog would be intimdating in a battle, would it not?
Alright, enough zoning out. Taking a deep breath, she let out a great bark. Just a single bark was all she felt was needed. And she waited.

It's time to try defying gravity! I think I'll try defying gravity!
Hibiscus was somewhat startled by the voice. So sudden had there been a response. She looked in the direction of the voice and found a cat, a tom. He seemed friendly enough and reguarded her with a smile. Hibiscus cocked her head ever so slightly and nodded, rising to her paws and dipping her head respectfully in greeting. "Greetings," she said. "My name is Hibiscus." She paused and studied him with her different colored eyes. "And it is my wish to join ThunderClan." She hadn't really expected this to be going so smoothly already. She had expected an attack, but after brief explaining maybe an acceptance. This was it, though? No hostility?
No, she shouldn't assume this already. There could others.
And then came a flash, and a small form crashed into her. She gave a low yelp from startlement and stumbled slightly in shock and looked down a hostile looking apprentice. She gave a snarl, not hoping to fight unless more came.

Hibiscus rolled her narrowed eyes and winced slightly as the tiny, pinprick claws pierced her hide. "No," she said sarcastically. "How else would you be able to understand me?" she asked, easily flicking the cat free with a woosh of her tail.
{ Haha, not being rude to you, it's just Hib's personality. She tends to be a bit sarcastic. No hard feelings.

Hibiscus returned her attention to the other warrior, not reguarding 'Redpaw' with so much as a glance. "Then who?" she asked, her voice monotonous, hiding all emotion. Her tail swished behind her, but not in such a way that would suggest anxiousness, happiness, or irritation at all.

Another dog padded up to the scene and her heart lifted at the fact that there were other dogs in ThunderClan. However, she did not show this. Instead, she only nodded. "Yes, that is my wish," she said, bowing her head. "My name is Hibiscus. Pleasure to meet you all," she stated.

{ OOC ;; Should we make a new thread, I'm assuming, and get Scorchstar, or will Scorchstar come here? I'm assuming the first. }
Hibiscus took a deep breath and looked at the other two Thunderclanners. Swallowing hard, she looked to the Akita looking dog and followed him. Scorchstar? She was assuming that was ThunderClan's leader, for, at least according to her limited Clan knowledge, common Clan leaders' names ended in the suffix '-star'. She nodded as she trailed after him. "If you don't mind me asking, what is your name?" she asked carefully.

The mutt grinned at the albino cat as she passed, but the grin quickly faded and returned to a dead pokerface. At least the Clan wasn't all out attacking her...

.: Scipio :.

Name;; Scipio (Skippy-o)
Nickname;; Skip
Breed;; American Alsatian
Age;; Three years or so
Gender;; Brute
Rank;; Fighter
Appearance ;; Scipio is a well built, fluffy-furred American Alsatian. He bears the typical silver sable pelt style, with a silvery gray color and black ticked markings. The black color is darkest on his muzzle and his hindquarters, and lightest on his neck. His breed is often described as "Dire wolf looking", with a posure that is "calm and alert". His ears are folded over and and mostly dark colored, and his eyes are a dark hazel color.
Personality ;; Outgoing and tolerant.
He is very open and easygoing around his friends and family, and loves enjoying a nice chat with them. He always listens to what others have to say before speaking himself, and often takes their words into consideration before making a statement. He is hard to agitate, and is often levelheaded and openminded. He doesn't like getting worked up, so Skip does his best not to.
Sceptical.
Around newcomers and those he doesn't know, Scipio may be a bit standoffish. He doesn't trust others they trust him. He doesn't act himself around strangers unless he is completely comfortable around them. Trust is something he gives out few and far, because in this world, he often asks himself the question "what is trust?"
Flexible.
Scipio tries to just go with the flow most of the time, and he's easy to work with. He takes into mind the opinions of others first before making a desicision, and is willing to change his mind about doing something if another dog's reason for him to do so is good enough. He's very willing to work for his pack.
Advantages;; Trustworthy, will die for his loved ones, honest, brute strength, flexible
Disadvantages;; Gaining his trust can be a task, not the fastest runner, can be forgetful
Weight;; 105 lb
Height;; 29 inches
Family ;; He left them
Crush;; Open
Mate;; open
Pups;; no mate
History ;; Nothing super special. He met Kiba's group of dogs and decided that he wanted to go with them rather than stay with his family. So that's what he did.
Other;; Down the rabbit hole? Take two steps, I dare you. As we fall faster.... and faster... into the ground.
.: Distance :.

Name;; Distance
Nickname;; She's been called many things like Disconnect, Cut, Farther, so call her whatever you want. She doesn't really care.
Breed;; Borzoi
Age;; 5 years
Gender;; Fae
Rank;; Hunter
Appearance ;; Distance is a mahogany/chocolate brindle and white borzoi with a sleek body built inevitably for speed. She is basically the preferred image of ever pefect borzoi, long, curled in tail, sloped, thin muzzle, flopped over ears, long, feathered legs. She can be described as beautiful, but she doesn't like being called that. Her eyes are a honey-amber color, but despite the warm hue, they can appear colder than Pluto.
Personality ;; Distant
Distance lives up to her name in more ways than one. But for the distant factor, she is often very aloof and far away. Even when surrounded by her friends, she doesn't always seem 'there'. Something even seems off in her head, like she's not playing with a full deck of cards. She doesn't speak her mind and would rather zone out than conversate. When in this state, her eyes take up a far away look, sometimes almost literally reflecting what is one her mind, and she sits so perfectly still it's almost creepy.
Rebellious
Yes, dispite the aloofness in her, she is also a bit of a rebel. While she would never disrespect her leaders to their faces, she just might behind their backs. She doesn't like following the demands of anyone, and if you're not her leader, don't expect her to listen to you.
Rigid
On the outside, Distance seems cold and rough, like she just doesn't care, like your just an annoyance. This isn't always true, but usually she just wants to get away from others so that she can think. And if you're bothering her, her sharp tongue will be sure to let you know. Seldom does she state this in a kind, caring way, for that is just out of her personality.
Low self-esteem
Yep. Her self-esteem is through the floor (in other words, the opposite of through the roof). While she won't state that she's been insulted, she often takes the words of others to heart, and if they offend her, she let's them build up until she's got a real grudge going along. While it may be surprising, Distance can be really sensitive, but she hides it by putting on an emotionless mask and living up to her name.
Advantages;; Extremely fast (like a typcial borzoi, where she originally got her name), thoughtful, thinks before she acts
Disadvantages;; Doesn't enjoy talking, isn't a good fighter, very low self-esteem, doesn't share her feelings.
Weight;; 81 pounds
Height;; 28 inches
Family ;; She thinks them dead
Crush;; HAH.
Mate;; OYEAHSURE.
Pups;; HMMM.
History ;; Distance was originally named that when her mother saw how fast she could run. She never knew that it would pretty much describe her personality as well. When she was about one, she was seperated from her family in a fire that she believes was caused by the humans and their high-technical advances. Luckily, she found Kiba's pack, but hasn't been the same as she was a pup.
Other;; Two steps down the road, I've had yet to crack the code.

Thanks~ I love this plot. <3 TSFH is amazing.

Name;; Lanceria (though she HATES to be called that)
Nickname;; Lance
Breed;; American Alsatian
Age;; 2.5 years
Gender;; Fae
Rank;; Guard
Appearance ;; Lance possesses a rare coloration for her breed: she is motly white. However, there are ticked darker patches on her back, tail, and head, but other than that she is a creamy snow color. Her nose is liver colored, matching her pelt for the most part. She has a sleek build, though her shoulders are pretty muscular. Her eyes are the color of tree bark.
Personality ;; Tomboyish
If Lance could choose her gender, she most certainly would. She dispises being a female, just because of all their stereotypes.

Hibiscus rolled her eyes at Redpaw. What an obnoxious cat. She turned to to Ember and Crackerjaw though and bowed her head respectfully. "I'm Hibiscus. Thank you for the honor, pleasure to meet you all." She gave a warm smile to the albino kit and then to the Havana brown.

( I can has recap? Just joined. Anything important to know for me to jump in with my characters? )
-
Aww darn, it is? X'D I'll add them to the TSFH thread, then.
-
( I'll make character fancies when I can get my sick butt out of bed and off my tablet and onto a computer, but here are some sorta half-crapped posts that my foggy mind can conjure. )
Skip padded across the camp, scenting the air with his sensitive nose. The Alsatian fluffed his long pelt and looked around, spotting a Pomeranian looking dog sitting by her lonesome. He knew that she was a dog commonly bullied, but it was out of his nature to bully. He paid her no more mind and instead lingered on the fading smell of those upper purebred pack dogs, wrinkling his nose in disgust.
Distance sat atop a large boulder, looking around at her pack. She spotted that small, disliked poofball excuse of a dog sitting alone and smirked. Poor dog had no friends, but that wasn't her problem, now was it? And by "her" she meant Distance, not Kandyce.
( Haha, I just thought of a good nickname for bullies to use on Kandyce, you know, since you want everyone to be mean to her. How about Kandoofus? Just a thought. My brain comes up with weird things when I'm stuck. )
-
( just for the record, both of my characters, Distance and Scipio, are already in the pack )
-
( Oh, that sounds interesting.
) -
Scipio rose to his black paws, flicking his folded-over ears as he looked around. Was it just him or had more dogs seemed to materialize out of no where? "Hm," he wuffed, shaking out his fluffy fur. He felt a bit hungry, and wondered if the hunters had gone out and gotten food. His eyes flicked over to a large rock, where a borzoi rested her head. He didn't know much about this strange dog, only that her name was Distance. It wasn't exactly a bad name, but it was still a strange one. It seemed too abrupt. Too.. well, he didn't even really know.
The brindle and white borzoi felt as though she was being watched. She observed the camp once more and found that a silver Alsatian was staring at her. Her eyes narrowed and she stared coldly back at him, but the dumb mutt did not break his gaze. A low growl rose in her throat, and she stood up, turning in a one-eighty so that her back and her rump faced him. Distance flopped into a laying position and hoped he got the idea.

|| Hibiscus | Thunderclan dog | difficult | Can be injured/captured/no kill | injuries ;; none ||
The nine-month old husky/golden retriever mix snarled at a small black apprentice who smelled of WindClan, but she couldn't be sure. The apprentice hissed back but she feigned a forward lunge, and had the apprentice scampering away. For Thunderclan! I will prove my mother and my father wrong! I will make a name for myself among my feline Clanmates at last. She gave a challenging bark, daring anyone to attack her. It would take a lot, especially from a bunch of cats, to bring her down. Right now, she laughed in the face of death as adrenline coursed through her veins.
