Are there any? I'm thinking of setting a drawing shop up but I have no idea where to start, how to set up the form, rules, prices, etc. Is there a guide written about this topic somewhere on WCRPG?

Or, if you know about this it'd be much appreciated if you just kinda outline it for me here too.

Hi there. Welcome to my shop. :)
I had been meaning to set one up for a while now, and now that I have a whole Monday off...there was never a better time.

So hey there.

MENU !

I do drawings BY HAND. >D yes, yes, no real computers involved unless I'm using a reference pic. :)

Here is the list of things I can do, along with examples.

BASICS !

Full body kitteh-1000 FK:
Pretty self-explanatory. A side-view of a cat, facing whichever way you'd like.
In the specifics, some things you might want to think about is which foot is where, head up or down, etc.

EXAMPLE:

Head shot by Garble-800 FK:
A head shot of a cat. x3
Facing whichever way you want.
Specifics-- eyes closed or open, ear position, etc.

EXAMPLE:

NEW! Digital Headie by Maggie Kirkland!-500 FK
A gorgeous headshot of a kitteh, done digitally by nobody but Maggie Kirkland! 8D

EXAMPLE:

Sitting Pretteh!- 900 FK:
Yeah...sitting cat. However way you'd like it.
Specifics-- tail tucked/wrapped around, crouched or tall, rigid or tired, head up/down, etc.

EXAMPLE:

Running!-1200 FK
A disclaimer on this one-this is a risk you're taking. I'm still studying the running cat's form. I might as well call this a BETA until I master this. It might not end up exactly as planned, and it'll take a while, be warned...

Um, yeah. A running cat in stride. Choose the frame you'd like from this pic and put it in the specifics in the form and whatever. The frames are counted like

1 2 3 4 5
6 7 8 9 10

and so on. Tell me the #!

Group Photo!-1700 FK
A clan/group picture with no less than four cats, no more than fourteen. This price INCLUDES a simple background, but you may upgrade to a detailed one, then the raw price of this is simply (1700-50) 1650 FK. Little extra things for cats to pay attention to (a bug on the ground for a kit) are also included for free, for they are technically not props. ^^ When you order this, please include descriptions of ALL CATS in the picture, as well as any notes about placement/poses in the SPECIFICS:.

EXAMPLE:

BACKGROUNDS !

This is also BETA. I'm working on it!

Just White-0 FK
What it's called. Just white background paper.

Simple-50 FK
A list of examples-
forest
lake
mountain
up a tree
etc

Easy little things, you know? Not too crowded or anything, no background cats.

What A Hubbub!-100 FK
A background with one or more kitties.
Probably a camp/hunting expedition or something, I don't know. x3

Oh, Sophisticated You!-80 FK
A more detailed backdrop for your pretty kitteh.
I need lots of custom details for this, guys! I can't really work with 'stars and make it pretty'.

PROPS/EXTRAS !

Props are anything interacting with the subject. An example would be a fish in a mouth, a butterfly on the nose, a collar, bow, etc. Anything else, like a squirrel in a tree, bug in the air, scars on the cat (there's a place for it on the form), etc, are free. :)

Small Props- 20 FK apiece
Like small bows, simple bugs.

Larger Props- 30 FK apiece
Detailed butterflies, fish, prey, larger decorations, collars, etc.

NEW:Letters!- 30 FK for a big title/text
Um yeah, so I can handwrite something like the cat's name or a clan name or something. Be sure to mention the mood/type of writing, and the color and size.

Words!- 40-FK for subtext/subtitle
Just like letters but a motto or maybe song lyrics or whatever. And again, mention mood/type of writing, color and size.

RULES !

1) Please be nice to me and everybody else. I don't work well under pressure.
2) A lot of these will take time. This is all done by paper/pencil, and I often have to do a couple of drafts before I am completely satisfied. Though part of the wait is because I am a severe perfectionist,I do try my hardest to stay on time and meet all of the orders I recieve. Thank you for your understanding.
3 )If you read this please put 'croutons' in the Other space in your order form! ^^
4) You may not change your order once it is up on the list of working-ons. I'm sorry, but there is no undo button for me here! x3
5) If you are dissatisfied with your completed product and you wish to have it redone/fixed, PM me and we can work out a price for the redo.
6) Again, please keep in mind that I am indeed a human being and I do get busy. When the shop is rules as busy/closed, it is busy/closed. Your commission will be ignored. You can, however, write down a form with a disclaimer so that you don't forget your order, then requote it when we are opened up again. Thank you.
7) You better cough up what you owe within a week of recieving the pic buster, or else you're banned from the shop and reported. Just on a stern note. >/
7) Add 'are red.' to your Others section in the rules.

Hokay, now that we've got that out of the way, let's order!

FORMS !

Here's the plan:

This is kind of like ordering a Happy Meal, got it?

USERNAME: and SCREEN NAME: are kind of obvious, but just a recap: usernames are what you use to log in. Screen names is the name that everybody else sees. Yeah, okay, done?

You pick a Basic item from the menu; a standing cat, sitting cat, etc, and write it in the BASIC: section. Then in DESCRIPTION: you may ramble on about what the kitteh looks like. Don't worry I read old bios when I'm bored, you won't bore me. Then in BACKGROUND: you choose a background; Just White, Simple, etc, and describe it. Simple enough so far, right?

SPECIFICS: is very important. Write the SPECIFICS corresponding to the pose that you chose, as well as any other tidbits about the cat that you would like me to work with. The more info the better, people! Oh, and if you want the name written along the cat's body like on my full body kitty, or the colors that I had used in those little boxes, please say here! However, written stuff like a big name and subtext go under PROPS/EXTRAS:.

When you get to PROPS/EXTRAS:, tell me all of the random props you want in it and whether if they are large/small. I may revise the prices if your large/small evaluations are not accurate, btw. YOU CAN'T GET PAST ME >D.

Then, since I am a lazy butt I am a busy person, please calculate the price according to the menu in the PRICES: space. Oh, and remember what those Algebra teachers are telling you? SHOW YOUR WORK.
Perfect Example To Make Garble Happy:

1000 FK for standing cat, 50 for Simple background, and 20 for small prop=1070 FK

Not an example:

standing, simple, and small prop= 1070

Or:

1070 FK

REFERENCE: is the place to put any reference pictures you'd like me to work with. Honestly they make my work much easier, so they are much appreciated. However please try to make them realistic photos unless they are references for the pelt pattern/color. It's a bit difficult to turn a cute manga kitty into a semi-photorealistic sketch for me, yougetmyvibes? ;) Thanks.

Lastly, in the OTHER: write whatever you want to add that don't fit in anything else and whatever and just say hello to me because I'm lonely :S.

Depends on how many cats I'm gonna draw. At least the leader, deputy, and the meddy cats should be up there, right? And you'd like the leader at the front and etc?

Oh, it's a lot of fun to do all of these.
So I'll probably be actively collaborating with the person who's ordering. I'm almost done with the rough setup of the different cats, so I can snap a pic and show it to you when I'm done. :)

I've just finished the sketch, and I'll be going over it in a darker pencil, then coloring, then I'm done. I've found that the last stage is the most difficult. ^^

I think this'll be done by Thursday, in the least. Woo! I am full of muse today.

Oh, and I've figured out the price. Clan drawings are 1700, and since you asked for a couple of herbs in the medicine cats' mouths, that was an extra 40. (I added a little extra leaf that a kit is paying attention to, but it's not a prop/not charged ;) ) So 1740 FK is due when I finish. ;)
