Why was she asking who he was? They'd met before, not that long ago either -- maybe she just forgot who he was, forgot what he looked like. Deciding that this was the reason his friend could not remember him, the little black tom pushed his back against the wall and came into a sitting position.

He didn't know if it was a demon, or just an old cat in Riverclan, but he was being affected by it. It was forcing him to look at things he did not want to and hear things he did not want to -- hallucinations, basically. It just wasn't right and the now cinnamon tom wanted the spirit banished.
After Shadehours had made the announcement that the river was poisoned, he knew it was his chance. Maybe if he was hurt, the spirit wouldn't want to be inside him anymore. Maybe it would, but there was always the chance it'd flee. He wanted to try and risk everything, his life even, just to get the damned thing out of him.
He stared at his own reflection in the water, taking a deep gulp. The water looked strange -- barely any fish were swimming around in the spot where he was, and when he dipped a claw in, he noticed that there were little flecks of grey on it.
Maybe this'd work.

His bright eyes that were already fading turned to face Freekit, a small look of hurt coming onto his features. "Hiya Freekit," he said, already not his normal self. This water was metallic and it tasted like blood, but just a lot thicker. The cinnamon tom's pelt color started to change to a dark brown color, for him signifying that he was in a small amount of pain.

Calmkit said; this was directed towards both the cats that were there. And in the next few moments, the cat that he was talking about took control in a snap, it was easy, to his dismay.
He knew that the kid had pelt color changing thing, and he was basically in control of the outer body, not the muscles and whatever so he couldn't speak. Instead he just used his resources and changed Calmkit's pelt colors -- now the kitten looked exactly like Calmtides, and he knew that Morningcoffee would recognize the patterns and colors in a snap. After all, he had loved the she-cat at one point, before knowing that they were related.
Then he faded away. The changing of colors only happened for a few seconds, before turning once again to a dark brown color.

The brown tabby stood up and very quickly, his fur changed back to the blue color it was always supposed to be. He bent over and swallowed the herbs. His yellow gaze flashed across everybody who was there, staying on Morningcoffee the longest. A small smile spread across his face. It had been a while since he saw the she-cat. "Morning," he said softly, wobbling up next to the medicine cat. "Morning." he repeated, this time burying his head in her chest. He still loved her, she was the only one he had ever truly loved, even if they were related spiritually.
