    [align=right][size=8][color=white]Despite Papyrus's firm belief in getting an early (very early) start to the day, the flamboyant skeleton had ended up sleeping a bit later than he'd intended to. Given how early he usually woke, however, that wasn't much a problem— He merely set out to tidy up and organize things as always, in hopes of keeping his space free of clutter. Such a thing could be difficult, given Sans's messy nature.. Where was Sans, anyway? Papyrus tapped a gloved finger against his chin, taking a moment to ponder his brother's whereabouts. Well, wherever he was, he was sure to turn up soon, Papyrus figured. Sans always seemed to have a way of being in the right place at the right time.


    Upon catching a whiff of the pancakes being made in the kitchen, the skeleton promptly emerged from the bedroom, dressed in his usual attire: His 'battle body', of course. "HUMAN??" He called after the short walk to his destination, his tattered scarf fluttering out behind him. "FRISK, YOU DIDN'T TELL ME WE WERE COOKING! I WOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY TO HELP OUT, YOU KNOW." He slumped a little, as though he were pouting. "OH WELL, I SUPPOSE I CAN JUST MAKE LUNCH INSTEAD! NYEH HEH HEH. I HAVE A NEW TECHNIQUE THAT'S SURE TO MAKE THIS MY BEST PLATE OF SPAGHETTI YET! AND..." He trailed off, glancing around the room for a moment. "HUMAN!! YOU DID NOT TELL ME WE HAD A GUEST!" He exclaimed after the pause, his jaw shifting into what appeared to be a large grin. "HELLO THERE, NEW FRIEND! I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS."

    [align=right][size=8][color=white]"ARWEN..." Papyrus stroked his chin, tapping a booted foot on the kitchen floor. "FANTASTIC! WHAT A PLEASURE IT IS TO MEET YOU, FELLOW HU...MAN?" His shamelessly loud introduction finished, Papyrus grew quiet, taking a moment to process what had just been said to him. "...WAIT. YOU HAVE EATEN MY SPAGHETTI? WOWIE!" His tone saturated with elation, Papyrus perked right up, beaming. "YES!! IT IS I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WHO SUPPLIED YOU WITH THE DELECTABLE PASTA YOU SPEAK OF! I'M... NOT SURE HOW YOU OBTAINED IT. BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER!" He grinned, striking his typical pose. "...YOU REALLY LIKED MY COOKING THAT MUCH? I'M FLATTERED... BUT! YOU STILL HAVE YET TO TASTE MY BEST WORK, THE PASTA TO TOP ALL OTHERS!" He said a bit too loudly, looking rather proud of himself. "...BUT I SUPPOSE THAT CAN WAIT UNTIL AFTER BREAKFAST." He added, placing his gloved hands upon his hips. "AS MUCH AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO ASSIST IN MAKING 'PANCAKES', I'M SURE THEY'LL STILL BE TASTY EVEN WITHOUT MY HELP. NYEH HEH HEH."

Papyrus said with a grin, his eyesockets closing following his confident statement. It was pretty hard to top this in terms of ways to start a morning— But, no sooner than the thought had crossed his subconscious, it got better.


    Papyrus brought his gloved hands up to the sides of his face, looking positively delighted by Frisk's question. Could this day possibly get any better? "OF COURSE YOU CAN, FRISK! WHO BETTER TO TEACH YOU TO THE WAYS OF SPAGHETTI THAN ME?" He asked with a large grin, looking down at the smaller child. Papyrus's cooking may have improved a little since coming to the surface, but even so, the kitchen surviving their attempt at cooking later would be quite the miracle. "PREPARE YOURSELF, HUMAN! I WILL TEACH YOU EVERYTHING I KNOW. WITH ENOUGH TRAINING, MAYBE YOU'LL EVEN BECOME AS SKILLED AS ME! NYEH HEH HEH!"
