Cedarleaf's shook his head. "I'm fine, Poisonheart, really. I don't need catmint right now." He pushed away the herb. "I should ready the herbs." He managed to generate a batch of marigold before he felt dizzy. "Emberpaw, get ready." The medicine cat scanned the herb store. "You'll need your healing skills more than ever now." Cedarleaf looked back towards his mate. "Poisonheart, I'll need you to stay here." He licked her cheek. "It'll make me feel less anxious."

Dawnheart realized that Ivyheart was talking to her. "Me? Oh, yes, I-um, I'm fine..." Her voice trailed off as the she-cat padded away. Dawnheart twitched her ears as she heard her name from Nightstar's announcement.
"I'm staying at camp?" The warrior's eyes widened in disbelief.

Duststorm jumped. He was going to a battle. The brown warrior padded up to his brother, Cloudclaw. "Stay safe...And don't get...killed."
"How can I? Worry about yourself." The white tom flicked his tail. "Good luck, brother."
Duststorm watched his brother pad away and caught up with him. 'He's the only thing I have left...May Starclan light his path.'

Robin's swallowed. "I...I recall having a mother, brother, Russet and a sister, Light. My mother, Dawn, was always kind to me and my siblings. She never let us down, always hunting, always on the move. She was bright and positive. My father, I think his name was Boulder...hurt her. I could see the line of tears every time she returned, accompanied with the faint scent of blood.
Light was sick of my mother's babying, and she took Boulder's side. My sister thought her father's praises were more rewarding because he was so hard-hearted. She bullied my mother, pushing her down. Light turned on us."
    Robin's throat grew parched.
"She...she died when she refused to kill Dawn even though she bullied her. Boulder told her she was useless. My father," she spat. "Killed her. In cold blood." Tears started to glisten in her eyes. She continued, " Dawn eventually left the world. She killed herself."
"Me and Russet escaped the forest-spirit forbidden nightmare and ventured into the forest. To start over. Russet went missing during the night, while I was sleeping. I searched for him only to find him a few hundred fox-lengths from our small camp. He was mutilated, with blood covering everywhere. I still don't know what killed him, the scent of blood was heavy. But I did catch a very faint scent of fox."
Robin looked up with a small smile. "I traveled alone for a few sunrises."
    She paused.
    "Then I found you guys."

Sparrowsong realized that there was no time. "Never mind! He's in the battlefield, right?" She packed up a bundle of herbs and raced towards where the battle took place. She sought out the injured cat and spotted Wolfstar hunched over Highflame.
    "Wolfstar!"
She carefully turned over the tom and immediately saw a long gash. Sparrowsong set to work. She balled up a roll of cobwebs and pressed in on the wound, but the bleeding wouldn't stop. Alarm flashed through her.

(Do you want Highflame to live or die?)

Cedarleaf yelped as Poisonheart was clawed. "Emberpaw, get back in!" He attempted to push the deputy off of his mate.

Dawnheart hissed as a brown tabby tom with scars all over his face bounded up to her. His claws glinted in the light. The tom slashed his claws over her flank. Dawnheart bristled, her powers urging her to morph. 'No, I will fight this cat-to-cat.' The warrior whipped around, baring her teeth.
She slid under the tom's belly, catching him off guard. He managed to get a rake in before she flipped over, using her hind legs to pummel his belly. Finally, Dawnheart held him in place and clawed his chest, leaving a deep gash.
The tom gasped, crumbling to the ground. The she-cat searched for a new opponent, and caught Poisonheart being attacked by the Leafclan deputy. She started to sprint towards the deputy but a flash of red knocked her over.

Cloudclaw caught a Leafclan cat sprinting past him, recognizing him as Ratface. "Going anywhere?" The white warrior clamped onto the warrior's tail and slashed the tom's face, leaving a fresh claw mark. Ratface swung his paws at Cloudclaw's face blindly, but the tom easily averted them.
"Learn your own boundaries!" Cloudclaw was about to claw the tom's ears when a pair of claws raked him from behind. Overwhelmed, he whipped around to face nothing. Only a faint cloud of black disappearing. When the young warrior turned to face his original opponent, he was gone. Cloudclaw caught him limping away into the bushes.

Duststorm yowled as Lightmoon, a young warrior, boldly gripped his tail. The brown warrior whipped around, but she slashed his face, splattering blood everywhere. Blood dripped into his eyes, forcing him to blink uncontrollably. "What," he muttered. Frustrated, he lashed his tail, summoning a small dust storm. He pointed it towards where he thought the she-cat was. He heard a yowl of fury and pain. Bingo.
The blood cleared from his eyes. Duststorm turned on Lightmoon, blood roaring in his ears. "Why would you steal from us?" he yowled. The she-cat hissed, and lunged towards him, bowling him over. But Duststorm flipped himself over and pinned Lightmoon down.
    "I asked you."
But he didn't see anger or fury in her eyes. He only saw fear and agony.

    ((OooOOh I like it)
Sparrowsong pressed more cobwebs, applying slight pressure. "Fallenpaw, go into my den and find a yellow plant with a golden center. Coltsfoot, you know?"
The medicine cat was running out of cobwebs. Urgent, she used the moss next to her that she had brought along. It soaked up a little blood, but it leaked. Sparrowsong squeezed the ball of moss and re-soaked it. The bleeding had stopped at little, but his breathing was becoming more shallow.
    'No, no, no, no, no!'

(My internet was down for a few days;;Sorry)
Cedarleaf finished treating the remainder of cats. He gazed at Emberpaw. "You did a great job today." Sleep didn't come to him as easily before.

Dawnheart was exhausted. Her paws dragged along the ground. Patches of her fur were missing, and her wounds had dried blood around the edges. Cedarleaf had treated her wounds, but they still felt sore.

Cloudclaw was crouched over his brother. He was still in the battlefield. Bodies were scattered around. Most were mutilated, or covered in blood.
Duststorm lay on the ground, eyes half-closed. A long gash dragged along from his neck to his tail, and his breathing was ragged.
Cloudclaw was silent, his tail resting on his brother.
    "Hey, Cloudclaw?"
The white tom pricked his ears, and lifted his head slightly to face his brother.
    "...Yes?"

"Don't forget the times we've had. The good ones."
Cloudclaw nodded his head, nuzzling his brother's flank. "I will." His brother's eyes grew foggier, until there was only white. His breathing was fainter, his heartbeat slowing. Then silence.
Cloudclaw dug his head under Duststorm's body and hauled him onto his body. The white warrior returned to camp, a dull, dead look in his blue eyes. A hollow feeling rang inside him.

Sparrowsong followed her clan. Fallenpaw's words echoed in her mind. She looked back behind her, hoping to see the apprentice tagging along. But there was nothing. The medicine cat sighed, eyes half-closed. 'If only I had saved Highflame...'
    She remembered it clearly.

'"He..he's dead!" Sparrowsong yelped. But his flanks were rising and moving. The tom's eyes were closed, and his heartbeat was slow. It felt like it would stop any time now. "But he's alive..." Confusion flickered in her eyes.'

The she-cat shook her head, relieving herself of the fresh memory. Sparrowsong staggered.
'What kind of medicine cat am I...'

Sparrowsong twitched her ears. She was tireless, the medicine cat couldn't even hear her leader speaking to her. The tabby she-cat had blocked out all her surroundings.
'Fallenpaw's out there, with Spiritkit and Highflame.'
Sparrowsong suddenly realized. 'Where is Blackshadow?'

(You guys...Duststorm was supposed to be dead but I'll just let him live ;-;)

Dawnheart laid on a patch of grass, eyes blinking lazily. She stretched and rolled over onto her side.

Cedarleaf groomed his pelt, enjoying the gentle breeze blowing. The medicine cat had treated Duststorm's gash across his body.

Cloudclaw was eating a piece of prey by the side of the clearing. He was glad that his brother was okay.

Duststorm purred as Squirrelkit pounced on his tail. Cedarleaf had treated his wound by wrapping cobweb all over his body. His whole body ached, and he couldn't move his torso, but the young warrior wanted to serve his clan as soon as he got better.

Cedarleaf jumped as Brokentail approached him. "Thanks," he mewed. He turned around, nipping at the base of his tail. 'Random...'

Dawnheart perked her ears, eyes alert. She heard a faint rustling from the bushes. "Maybe it's just the wind," she muttered to herself. Unsettled, the warrior rose from her spot and crossed the clearing, settling on the other side.

Duststorm stood, heading toward the medicine cat's den. Cedarleaf had told him to rest there until his wound got better. The brown warrior entered the den and found his nest fairly quickly. Duststorm dipped his head towards Cedarleaf and Emberpaw before curling up. He felt embarrased to be there.

    Dammit I lost the thread again, I was in the middle of writing but the laptop shut off;-;

The werewolf looked into Moon's eyes, slightly crouching. "Would you like to join us?" Moon's mouth opened and closed once. Knight smiled and stood. He ruffled Winter's hair. "No one's leaving, we're all sticking together." He lifted Moon's arms, a thicker line of feathers showing. "But he does have wings." The timid boy snatched his arms from Knight's hand. Knight thought aloud, "Maybe he's parents were a hybrid?"
