Mrs. Snow walked over with a frown on her face. "Julia, please take a seat. I don't want to here anymore of this. All of you be quiet and solve this out amongst yourselves during recess. If cannot, I expect a parent or teacher, such as myself, will interfere. Try to be nice to one another, as it is the second day of school." The teacher returned to the front of the classroom and picked up a red marker. She began writing the schedule of the day onto the whiteboard. "Today..." She wrote as she spoke, "We will be.... separating into Book Groups and... handing out math books."
She turned back, her eyes narrowed, expecting her class to be in their seats and facing her.

<D We are getting so far ahead of what's happening now. xDD
These kids are still in kindergarten! xDD
But I will admit, I'm pretty excited, too. This is going to be awesome. -
ooc: I love the fights between little kids. They can be so funny- as long as no one gets seriously hurt in the end.
ic: Mrs. Snow nodded to herself as she watched the class settle down. She noticed Cole's book and smiled. "Now let's get started. We will be creating three book groups. I will be handing out four books for each student. Pass the ones you choose not to read up to the front of the classroom." Mrs. Snow turned back towards the front of the classroom and picked up several books. She began handing them out. When all the books had been passed out, the students had the following in front of them: The Kissing Hand, by Audrey Penn; Make Way for the Ducklings, by Robert McCloskey; Green Eggs and Ham, by Dr. Seuss; Stellaluna, by Janell Cannon. -
I like that. :)
-
ooc: Same here. I loved that book. I've read all the others except for Make way for the Ducklings.
ic: Oistin looked through his book and chose the one he liked the most, which was Stellaluna, the book about the bat. -
Mrs. Snow sighed, "I'm afraid not. But after we finish these books, I can probably get you one."
Oistin picked up the books he had not picked and passed them up to his teacher. She took them from him and held them to her side as she waited for the other children to finish deciding.
-
Mrs. Snow collected the books passed to her and neatly stacked them down on her desk.
-
"Well," Mrs. Snow explained, "Depending on the books you have picked, you will be placed with other students who have also picked that book. Now, can everyone tell me what book you have picked out?"
-
ooc: xD I never got that when I was in kindergarten.
ic: Oistin replied to the teacher, "Stellaluna," -
Okay, I'm probably going to set up a plot thread soon. In the plot thread, you can suggest plots for the entire class (I already have a couple), and sort of have a future plan for your kindergarten. ~Will return with plot thread link. <3

ooc: x) (Side Note for Self)

Hello, Hello. This is where all the Prairie Side Elementary School Plotting will go. You can make suggestions and set up your character's future here.

Yeppers.
I have plans for a lock-down drill, eventually. -
And as a personal thing for Oistin, I planned for his family and himself to trapped in a fire inside their house. He luckily gets out, as well as his father, but his mother and younger sister die.
-
xD
Yeppers working on Oistin's story... NOW! -
That's sounds neat.
*On day 15, there should be a valentine's sort of day.
*On day 21,there should be a Halloween sort of day.
*On day 32, there should be some sort of holiday like Christmas or Hanukah.*I plan on making two high schools two: ____ Highschool or ____ Academy, if there are enough people to support these two schools.
* There should be uniforms at some point!!
*Oistin will probably go to the Academy. -
ooc: Sorry, I must have skipped over this.
ic: Oistin looked at the cover of his book. He had read the book before and remembered something about a lost bat, but he couldn't remember anything else. "Stellaluna?" He murmured. -
Agreed, but it might be nice to start some plots.
*There should be an argument between everyone.
*After school (after the argument), there should be some sort of fist fight (Only when they are older, of course) -
"Of course, of course." Mrs. Snow nodded, sitting at her desk and taking attendance.
Oistin frowned. It seemed he was the only one in his group, but he didn't really mind. He got the book all to himself and he didn't need to wait for slow readers.
