He xlenched his fist, eztingushing the flame. "Now can I have it?"

He glanced at scarzy. "New people around every corner. Whos this, Savanna?"

"Hello, scarzy. I'm Luke, Savanna's cousin."he gestured at his wolf. "This is Vaan."

Luke headed off to his room. "Let me know if you need anything, Savanna."

Luke lay down on his bed, and stared at the ceiling, thinking.

Luke flipped over on his sromach, ruffling the dark feathers of his wings

Luke sighed, the wings on his back shifting back into a small tattoo on hismid-upper baxk. He pulled an amulet out of his shirt, the only thing his mother had given him.

It was a small, bright orange crystal. "If you are ever in dire trouble" she had said. "Shatter the crystal and your aid will come?"

He scowled. Of his mother wouldn't tell him what it actually did. She wouldn't tell him anything. He hated that in a parent. Creating something, only to abandone it and not give a sh*t.

He tucked the amulet back in his shirt, and lit a small fire on his hand, playing with the flames. Really, Savanna worried too much that he would burn the place down. Then again, even a master of fire could accidentl desteoy an entire building. But he was no master of fire. Catherine had mastered fire, while he had befreinded it. Would a slve sooner obey it's master or it's friend?A weak slave would obey the master, but a steong friend would stixk to their partners side.

"Yeah? He called, extinguishing the flamw. No need to give his cousin a heart attack

"Yeah, whats up?" He called.

He sat up. "Alright, shoot"

"I told you, White Ice, the bane of my existence. Why do you ask?"

"From the center of Jotunheim."

"You go all over when you live alone for 12 years."
(He lived with Thor till he was five, then ran away. He's been alone till now.)

"Na, we're cool. Did 'em a favor." He grinned suddenly. "Ha, cool. And thei like, made of ice. That's funny."

"You know, while your here, mind givin me a quick rundown on the rest of the team?"

"So, the recruits are just you, me, Scarzy, and Elizabeth. Those are dismal numbers. Well, what are Scarzy's and Elizabeth'spowers?"
