Acornkit padded angrily out of Crystalstar's den. SHE woulldn't let them leave. "Ya know what?" he told his siblings, "HMPH! Let's leave anyway! We'll go to sunning rocks!"

Nemean and Cassandra dashed into some bushes and ran, hoping Stormnight wouldn't catch them.

It was night. The stars twinkled in the sky. The forest was bathed in moonlight. Somewhere in the distance one could hear laughter. Sparrowflight shivered and left quickly.

Thistlepelt was hunting. What else is new? asked the voice at the back of his head. You do this every day. "Yeah, so what?" Thistlepet told it, "It feeds the Clan." He was just about to catch a mouse when he heard something. The mouse fan.
A growling came from one bush. From the bush emerged a huge fox. "Holy S%&*! A fox!" Thistlepelt backed up and looked around, looking for help.

Cassandra snarled at Stormfront, who had caught her. It was obvious she wouldn't escape, but she could try anyways. She struggled and squirmed, trying to get free. Success was impossible. She shrieked, trying to hurt her captor's ears so that he might let her go, but it was a lost cause.
Nemean turned as cassandra was caught and yowled a battle cry. "EAT DUST STORMNIGHT!" He ran at Stormnight. Hopefully Faolin had misjudged his set of actions.
