Name: Clearsky
Personality:
Clearsky is a sensitive she-cat, and often closed at first glance. She doesn't speak up much or loudly, but is logical and open-minded - albeit stubborn.
However, she shows a much different face to closer, longer acquaintances. Clearsky is optimistic and tries to be cheerful, so that others can have something to lean back on in harder times. She is still closed-off and withdrawn in regards to her own feelings, and rarely opens up about how she feels.
But above all, she is a fiercely loyal she-cat; willing to go all the way with her beliefs and for a clan that she upholds. Obstinate, but stead-fast with her values, and hopes to never disappoint those around her.

Clearsky is a silver cat verging on white, with grey-black leopard spots. She has grey eyes, and a tail tipped with black. She is a cat of small stature, but of speed in the heat of battle.

Clearsky was out hunting. The forest shrouded her in swaying greenery, as she padded softly through the dense undergrowth looking for prey. A quiet shuffling sounded a little way off, and she pricked her ears at it. The wind was blowing from behind. She cursed her bad luck, but decided to try anyway. But she trodded a fallen leaf underpaw with a crunch, and there was a brief scuttling and then silence.

But her mind wasn't on hunting, anyway. She hoped that Littlepaw was alright, with a short-tempered mentor like Lilystream...but she certainly didn't doubt the she-cat's capability. Shaking off the thoughts, Clearsky continued into the forest.

Emberfall is a cat of reasonably small stature. She has a short, murky pelt, with a mix of browns and blacks, and a warm orange. Her chest and belly fur is white, and her tail is verging on black, with various grey and brown stripes. Her eyes are a light olive, gradiating to a darker shade around the pupils. Her muzzle is mostly orange, and she has arching legs and rather tall ears.

Emberfall was only recently made a warrior, so she still feels a considerable fear and worry for her new role in the clan. She used to be a rogue, and joined the clan at an apprentice age. Still, she feels slightly out of her depth, as everyone else has known each other for much longer. Mostly, her old status as an outsider does not help her disposition, and has only made it harder for her to feel at home in the clan.

But she loves the life of a clan cat, and is slowly warming to it.
Emberfall is a timid cat; sensitive and thoughtful with a good memory. However, when she finds a cat to open up to, she sheds that layer of defense - the quiet - and is reasonably talkative. She doesn't mind being alone, but still thinks that friends are better by a good lot. She is defensive and has an immensely stubborn streak, and can be competitive with the strangest things, but will always try her best.
She hopes to never let her clan down in any way.

My birthday's actually in autumn, as well! :) Maybe that's one of the reasons I like it...but it's nice to have summer behind it, and winter not yet arrived...if the seasons are proceeding as they should...

Clearsky bounded to the edge of the river, inhaling the clean, fresh scent and calming down after several failed attempts at hunting. A leaf floated to the centre of the water, and sailed gently down with the current. Suddenly, she scented a strong fear scent, mingled with the smell of Phoenixclan. What was happening?

Fear lacing through her spine, she dashed along the side of the river, following the scent. It was Specklering! With a shudder, she remembered how the queen had been so close to kitting. What was she doing outside camp, in her current state?

Clearsky halted abruptly, almost mistaking the bundle of fur on the ground for a boulder. "Specklering?" She gasped, inhaling sharply. She prodded the blue-and-white queen gently with her forepaw. "Specklering, we need to get back to camp."
The faint rise and fall of the queen's chest was all that indicated she was still alive. Clearsky couldn't help a wave of worry, wondering how in StarClan's name was she supposed to save her.

Then she heard a faint mewling, and gently pushed the queen aside to find kits huddled underneath. Remembering how the medicine cat would deal with newborn kits, Clearsky quickly nipped open the sac around them, and licked their fur the wrong way to warm them up. What now? she wondered.

"Well, then," she told herself sternly, "Let's get them back to camp." She started dragging Specklering, while carrying the two kits by their scruff.
"What on earth was she thinking?" she grumbled through the mouthful of fur, beginning the long way back to camp. Hopefully, all of them would survive in one piece.

Finally, the trees cleared in front, and Clearsky could see camp. She stumbled through the entrance, almost keeling over with the exertion of keeping both kits aloft and dragging Specklering behind.
She paused to regain her breath and considered calling out, but decided not to waste her breath and continued across to the medicine cat den.

Stepping inside, she yowled for help. "Specklering has passed out, and she has two kits!"

Illidel parted her jaws in a massive yawn, blinking open one bleary eye to examine her surroudings. She was back at her place in the Arena, so what had woken her? Then she remembered the horrific shaking she had felt a short while ago, and the loud crashing sound that had disturbed her peaceful dreams. What on earth was that?

She rose to her feet and started making her way up, as far up as she could get, so she could have a proper look at her surroundings. It wasn't like she actually cared what happened to the tower itself, but more like what she would do without it. If anyone had decided to destroy her current sanctuary, they would have hell to pay.

Now that the hardest part was over, Clearsky's calm began to fade - replaced by a rather unhelpful panic. "Fireleaf, please, Specklering has passed out! I think she's breathing, but... And I tried to do what you usually do for kits, and they seem to be alright, but you should take a look at them."

She looked over at Phoenixstar, and felt herself wilt inside. If Specklering went to StarClan, it would all be on her conscience. What would her leader think of her then? Clearsky knew she couldn't live with that guilt. Inhaling deeply, she hoped for the best.

Clearsky jumped nervously at Fireleaf's voice. Phoenixstar was talking quietly to the medicine cat, and Clearsky wondered if she should offer what little information she had. But she didn't want to interrupt her leader, so she stayed back, waiting in case she was needed.

Clearsky blushed at the praise, her pelt prickling uncomfortably. "I'm sorry I couldn't do more," she mewed sadly, wondering if she could have done any different. But, she supposed, Specklering was still alive and that was something. She hoped the queen would be alright...she nuzzled the heads if the two kits thoughtfully, hoping that they would still have a mother the next day.

Clearsky backed out of the medicine cat den, and mewed uncomfortably, "Maybe I should go..." and stepped out of the den. Sometimes, the medicine cat really frightened her.

"Do you want me to join the hunting patrol?" she asked Tribalspear as he ordered the patrols. Perhaps her luck would change after her disastrous morning hunting...

...I can make an apprentice, if you want. Or we can wait for the people who play Butterpaw and Littlepaw to start RPing again. :)

Hey, Dreamy. I'm sorry I haven't roleplayed yet; it's just that I follow the RP thread and everything that happens, but things are moving really fast and I'm not quite sure how to join in. I have a few other threads I'd like to focus on for the moment, so I don't think I'm going to roleplay in this thread. I'm really sorry if that sounds like a lame excuse, but I should have told you before. :(
