Leafpaw quickly raced after her, relieved to be able to start training. He was eager to get the move correctly this time.
Appleclaw nodded and started to lead the way towards the camp entrance. "Have anywhere you'd like to see first?" He asked Foxpaw
-
"Well then how about we start with the lake, and you can see the training ground." Appleclaw suggested, beginning to head that way.
-
Appleclaw finally stopped near the great pine, where he turned to look at Foxpaw. "This is the training area." He explained. "And the lake is that way." He flicked his tail in the direction of the lake.
Leafpaw followed his mentor, trying hard to keep up.
-
Leafpaw raced into the training area. He gasped for breath and looked around for his mentor. Sometimes I really wish running was my strong suite. he thought.
-
Leafpaw looked over towards Peachpaw and Foxpaw. Looks like every apprentice is here... he thought with a roll of his eyes. "So where to now?" He asked Mosspool.
"Hello!" Appleclaw dipped his head in greeting towards the other warriors and apprentices. "You're all training now?" He asked.
-
"Would you like to pause the tour and see how the other apprentice's train?" Appleclaw suggested. He could see Foxpaw was eager to train, and it may help the apprentice's get used to each other.
-
"No, I can do it." Leafpaw muttered, and within a heartbeat he'd launched himself at the tree. He landed quite hard, but stubbornly kept his grip and climbed the tree.
"Alright, let's see what you know so far. Can you do a hunting crouch?" Appleclaw asked, demonstrating how to properly crouch down. He looked back and saw Foxpaw had climbed a tree. He blinked, impressed
-
"Good!" Appleclaw praised, then glanced at the rose. "What have you got there?" He asked curiously. The dark ginger warrior tipped his head to one side and gave it a closer look.
-
"I don't know..." Appleclaw murmered. He peered at the rose closely. "Perhaps we should take it to Ginderfoot. She's be the one to know." He said, glancing around.
-
Appleclaw led the way back to camp, and padded up to the Medicean den. "Ginderfoot?" Appleclaw called, standing infront of the entrance.
-
Appleclaw felt his pelt prick in alarm at the possible Oman. He tried to relax himself and looked down at his apprentice. "Hey, you'll be alright. I'll make sure nothing will happen to you." He said, trying to look confident. Plus, if it IS an Oman, it doesn't mean it's about him... He tried to reassure himself.
-
"Well we can go back to training or call it a day. Whichever you'd like." Appleclaw offered. He tried to give a reassuring look, but wasn't sure if he succeeded.
-
Appleclaw gave a nod and gently flicked his apprentice's ears with his tail. "Don't look so scared. We'll make sure nothing bad will happen to you." He said with a smile before padding over towards his sister. Mistyfire glanced up at him as he approached.
-
Leafpaw took a deep breath and leapt from his tree to the next. He made sure to twist a bit more like Mosspool had instructed and landed well this time. Leafpaw sighs a bit in relief, but looked down at his mentor. "Was that all right?" He called down
-
"We stopped to do some training, came back for a chat with Ginderfoot and called it a day." Appleclaw replied, not meeting Rabbitleap's eyes. The last thing I need is to get a queen riled up about a bad omen.... He thought to himself.
"Yeah.... Maybe." Leafpaw muttered, pretending not to be relieved and proud of himself. He slid down the trunk and landed beside Mosspool. "Now what?" The dark brown tabby asked his mentor.

Username: Halfclaw1234
Cat's name: Oakstripe
Cat's appearance: He is a big brown tabby cat with brown eyes. He has a torn ear and a long scar on his left front leg.
Personality: Oakstripe is a bit reserved and hard to read. He can be secretive and serious, and typically prefers to think logically. He's never got along very well with any of the warriors, not even his sister("that good for nothing fox-heart"), so he doesn't really have friends. He can sometimes be lost in thought about something if it confuses him enough. One place he's very easy to read is around kits. He's noticably awkward and confused on what to do around them.
Rank: warrior
Age: 39 moons
Crush or mate: open/none
Kits: none but takes care of Tigerkit
Other: Sage
Username: Halfclaw1234
Cat's name: Tigerkit
Cat's appearance: She's a fluffy brown-and white tabby she-kit with bright blue eyes.
Personality: Curiosity reicarnated. She is curious and asks questions about almost anything. She is clumsy and friendly, oblivious and sometimes an airhead yet loves the pursuit of knowledge and learning new things(or it's just her being very nosy. Mostly the latter). She can often be considered annoying but for the time being, according to her uncle, is "cute enough to get away with it." She's cheerful and enthusiastic, rarely becoming sad for more than a few heartbeats.
Rank: kit
Age: 4 moons
Crush/mate: open/none
Kits: none
Other: Sage (Oakstripe's niece)

Mistyfire watched her brother closely. She knew something was bothering him, but wasn't sure what. He rarely kept secrets, especially from her. It must be bad if he won't tell me... she thought, but didn't mention it.
-
"I don't know..." Appleclaw said, watching closely. "But I can make a few guesses." He said, scenting the air. Strangers... he thought to himself.
"Alright." Leafpaw nodded, flicking his tail.

Appleclaw and Mistyfire padded out of the warriors den. They both yawned and stretched, blinking in the light. Appleclaw glanced around, wondering if the patrols had been organized yet.
