--
Appearance;
Giovanni is a lanky tuxedo cat with a white neck/chest, belly, and paws. He's a little bit bigger than normal cats, but that doesn't matter, does it? Giovanni's eyes are a deep and dark green, and it's not wise to make eye-contact with this cat, or you might get lost.
Giovanni has a stub-like tail, half of it was cut off during the mob raid that happened months ago; but his balance still remains the same.
Personality;
Intelligence--
Giovanni is a very smart cat, he doesn't choose to show it sometimes because he has his other bosses to do all the dirty work for him, so he only has to worry about the family. But, in dire situations he will tell his boxes to stand down while he takes the reigns.
Desicion-making--
His decision-making skills are appropriate, should it be called that. Giovanni isn't good at thinking about things that could put the family in a bad situation, that is why he has his Frontboss to help him decide on which is the better choice. But if you were to ask, ' but what about if he doesn't have one? ' then I could suppose at least he'll make moderate decisions.
Responsibility--
Giovanni is very responsible for any of his actions or for the family; you could call him a cold cat at times, but he's probably thinking about protecting something, which is most-likely the family.
History;
Welcome to the streets. . .--
Giovanni grew up on the streets of a small city that was full of ruthless cats and deceiving friends; he didn't mind the personality and background of the whole city, but it was the fear of the growing power inside of it. There was a mob in the city called ' Il gatto si alza ' and all of the street criminals were accepted one after the other into that mob, it became more corrupted than it should have, and the leader wasn't so fair, either. Somehow though, Giovanni had gotten his way into the group; climbing up the ranks until he was 2nd command, and he did this for 2 years. He was widely known, and when the leader was dying, he was asked to become the next leader.
Giovanni would turn towards the mob of cats below him and just stare, they didn't really care if they had a leader, they only wanted to cause destruction and mayhem for the cats whom they thought were lower than them; and certainly, Giovanni didn't want it. He's done his fair share or killing and lying, which was quite easy, but he would not lead a mob like this. Giovanni decided to leave the mob, but had a price put on his head for betraying them, he decided to make his way to the other side of town, onto the outskirts, and hide-away in an abandoned building with the few other cats that he had found there.
They all decided to join under Giovanni's orders, and created The Mafia.
The very first three bosses; Giovanni (M) - ' Don ', Baromese (M) - Front Boss, Mattana (F) - Underboss.
The family grows. . .--
The family had started to grow when more and more cats had heard about their group, some of the cats that had come from a very long way were either young cats, or kits, even! Giovanni couldn't deny them, so he allowed them to join. The first few months of hiding out in the abandoned building was going well, requests were being thrown at them left and right to obtain information by near clans about other clans, making negotiations with outsider clans to join alliances, etc.
Older and older cats started to make their way to the group, and Giovanni had a good look at them, elder cats were allowed to join, but they were forever remain as Soldiers, and they were not allowed to leave the church or the territory. But, having a giant heart, if you would call it that, allowed them to join because he could not send them back, especially with the mob down in the city, which made him shiver at the slight thought of them.
But, all was still not normal, as a year closed in on them, they felt that the building was growing unsafe, it had taken the mob a year to find out where Giovanni was hiding, and they were closing in fast, their cats could be seen on the front-ground territory early in the morning, and when they were spotted, they ran away down to the city from where they came; Giovanni started to plan out for the next escape, but not just for him this time, with the whole entire family he had acquired.
Banishment. . .--
Giovanni was too late at planning, though; a week before the mob had targeted their location, they launched an attack on the building and the cats inside. The boss ordered everyone to evacuate, and they had done so, running to the destination that the boss had told them to go; Giovanni and the 2 other bosses stayed behind and kept the mob from following the other cats, this though, lead to the death of Baromese and Mattana.
Stricken with grief of the death of his close friends, Giovanni could only stare at the mod before him, how dare they? How could they do this to him? He hated them, they were terrible, all because he wouldn't become the leader! Giovanni and his family was forced to leave the abandoned building but before they could the mob cut off half of Giovanni's tail to give him something to remember them by, the building was then taken over by the mob; and had angered everyone.
Giovanni urged his group to move forward, because there was nothing they could do about the mob; they should just get away as far as they could. And so, they agreed, moving forward was the only thing they could do or else everything would fall apart; and Giovanni was the only one they could turn to for answers and help. Making the long trip would be hard though, but it was worth it for some of the cats that would survive, and others that wouldn't? They said that they were happy that they were able to join The Mafia, which made the family sad, but, motivated at the same time because they didn't want to loose any cats.
They set out a week after recuperating from the attack, they couldn't stay there anymore because the outside weather and no shelter wasn't good for the cats that feared being killed or getting very ill. It took them 2 months of traveling, of course, there were cats who knew they couldn't go on, and one by one the group shrunk, but hope soon came to them.
Home. . .--
The family had found an abandoned church on the top of a hill near a small town, but a new church had been built in the town, and traveling to the farther church was harder for them, so it became abandoned. The cats decided to take the church instead, and it became their new home.
Belief/Religion;
Giovanni does not have a belief or a religion, he doesn't think hard about that stuff anyway and has more on his mind.
