Reflectionpaw barely had time to react as Sparklemoon fell into the water. Luckily, the warrior managed to pull herself out. "Are you all right, Sparklemoon?" she asked, but the warrior seemed to be fine. The bigger worry at the moment was the small, trembling rogue. She turned her hazel eyes on the wounded cat, noting her blind eyes and her inability to speak. It was only when Varui opened her jaws slightly that Refle realized the horrible truth-- the cat had no tongue!

The slight fear she felt was undeniable, but worry for the rogue cat prompted her to come closer and give it some help. "Y-You can hear me, right?" she leaned down, paw making awkward patting motions on the she-cat's head. "We're not hostile cats... so don't worry. We'll help you." She turned to the others, meowing, "We should take her to the medicine cat. C-Can you help me out a bit?"

"No one has ever seen the intricate magnificence in those designs before?" Emblem made a mock gasping sound, feigning surprise. "Why, I guess we're the only ones with an eye for beauty, then." Past the joking, Emblem really did admire the way Pigment so cleverly colored her fur. It was something he'd never seen anyone do before; it was new, and it did well in broadening his curiosity. Following her directions, he took a purple-ish berry in his jaws and crushed it, using the juice on the tip of his tongue to draw patterns on one paw. "It looks fantastic!" he declared, raising the paw to study it further.

This cat was originally for The Black Parade, but I felt that she wouldn't fit in too well and decided to create her as a new character, Astuziakit.

    Rp Sample: [As Astuziafox]

Name: Astuzia--Astuziakit--Astuziapaw--Astuziafox [Astuzia is Italian for "cunning"]

    Alliance: Shadowclan

    Rank: Apprentice

    Mentor: Goldengaze

    Gender: She-cat

Appearance: Astuzia is rather pretty, but appearances can be deceiving. This young cat has an average stature, but dons a coat of russet colored fur with black streaks running along her back. Her tail resembles a fox's tail: large and bushy with a line of black going straight through the middle. Her eyes seem amber, but they're actually a forest-green color which turns slightly orange when exposed to sunlight.

Personality: To the cats in Shadowclan, she's fiercely loyal and shows a caring and cheerful personality. She loves meeting new cats, but has clear expectations of everyone and will only befriend the ones she deems worthy. Don't underestimate her, though, as Astuzia can become the exact opposite when on duty or thrown into a battle, or, at her kit age, simply provoked. She can manipulate her opponents and scent fear and unconfidence from a mile away. Her brute strength is not to be forgotten either. Astuzia, no matter how soft and gentle she may look, is fast and powerful, and her full abilities are not displayed unless she or the cat she is protecting is in great danger. She's always willing to put her loyalities first, and in a fight, it seems as though she's put on a mask and her only goal is to take down the opponent and destroy. But her weakness is also her loyalty and nonstop determination, though, and if cats know how to get her into a tough spot, they will be able to defeat her. Look past the cunning side of her and you'll have a friendly, cheerful cat with a big heart for the ones she truly cares about.

History: Astuzia was taken into Shadowclan when her full potential proved useful to the cats. This happened when she was only a kit, but even at that age, she already showed great strength and loyalty. Not many cats know about her past, though, as she herself is ashamed of it. She was born a kittypet to an Italian family who greatly despised her because she was always shredding up things around the house and getting on their nerves. They threw her out one day-- but she had been happy to leave. Her quick-thinking skills and her strength showed themselves as she struggled to survive as a little kit before she was taken into a group of cats who accepted her. Because of this, she is forever grateful to Paragonstar and the rest of the cats.

    Current close friends: Faustkit, Sonickit

    OOC: Need another member? :)

    IC:
Astuziakit, having just awoken from her slumber, heard the mention of a game. Eyes alert, she got to her paws and bounded out, fox-like tail trailing behind her. Astuzia was careful to avoid the smaller kits still sleeping in the den; she herself would be receiving her apprentice ceremony soon, as she was roughly more than five moons. Her green eyes, turned slightly orange in the sunlight, fixed on Hawkkit, who seemed to be leading the games. She padded over, meowing a greeting. "Hey there, Hawkkit. What's going on here?"

Fidaelis grabbed a mouthful of feathers in his muzzle, attempting to bring them back to their ditch but felt an undeniable itching in his nose. Suddenly, the silver wolf let out a giant sneeze, and feathers blast out of his muzzle into the empty air. And, to his embarassment, the feathers floated right in the direction of Sky. It wasn't a very polite move, but Fidaelis couldn't help letting out a loud chuckle at this-- it was in his nature to be easy going. He made himself stop, though; he didn't want to seem too foolish and irresponsible like how he'd once been categorized as, especially to Sky, someone he was trying to become friends with.

Seeing Sky laugh gave Fidalis a startling realization: She was pretty. No, the she-wolf was beautiful, but only subtly. It was quite a strange feeling; Fidaelis had met plenty of good-looking wolves over his short 2 and a half years of living, but Sky seemed to be different, somehow. He scrunched up his nose in confusion, but then decided that he'd deal with that bridge when he came to it. After all, they were only collecting feathers, right? After giving another small chuckle and batting back some of the feathers to Sky, he began the trip back to the ditch again.

Fidaelis, at that moment, was feeling a bit out of it. He didn't really know why he tried so hard for Sky not to think of him as weird. Normally, he wouldn't care. If they wanted him with them, they'd have to accept every bit of him. But these wolves were different; he knew they'd accept him anyway, so why did he feel so self-conscious around Sky? Or was it possible that what he felt for the rest of the group was different from what he felt for the she wolf? Nah, it couldn't be. But his curiosity was at its peak: Would Sky still laugh with him if he told her how he had come to be a loner? He opened his jaws to say something to her, but decided against it. No, he wouldn't tell. Not unless she asked directly.

OOC: Been a while since I've been this active with you guys, so I'm just gonna keeeppp iiittt ccooomiiinngg. For about an hour, anyway.
    IC:
Fidaelis slowed down to let Sky catch up, and something nagged the back of his mind. He just... had to know. "Y'know, Sky, I used to be an alpha," he mumbled around the feathers, icy blue eyes gauging her reaction. Would she shun him, assume that he had done something horrible to get kicked out? If she did, though, he wouldn't be able to deny it. It was painfully true.

OOC: Aw, thanks! :) I'm glad you enjoy this, since I think it's really fun, too.
    IC:
Reflectionpaw let out a purr of contentment. She was certainly a lucky cat, to have such a great mentor and to belong to a clan which she loved. After resting for a while, she got back on her paws. "Can you try some moves on me? I'd like to work on my defense some more."

OOC: We miss you, Beech Dx
    IC:
Sky didn't sound too reprimanding, and Fidaelis found himself given new courage to continue. "I'm young, and so they thought that I'm too inexperienced and easy going to lead. They wanted someone older and stricter to lead. And... they sent me to be the omega." And treated me like sh*t, basically, Fidaelis thought, a spark of anger re-igniting in the pit of his stomach.

Fidaelis looked away. "W-Well, I'll tell you that... later." He sure enjoyed Sky's company, but he just wasn't completely ready to reveal the story of his treachery.

The sky was now filled with dim stars, and snow was steadily coming down. The two wolves, him and Sky, soon arrived at the ditch. Fidaelis found that everyone else had already settled down and were drifting off, while he had taken up the whole evening collecting feathers, joking around and half-telling his story. "Hey, sorry for wasting your time. You'll probably want to rest now. Long journey up ahead," he murmured to Sky, voice barely audible. Fidaelis swept his eyes over the wolves in the ditch. Tizar was sleeping beside Silvereye, and Stone was curcled up with... Calic! Surprise flickered in his eyes, but that was short-lived. He silently left Sky's side and pushed his feather bed a little further away from the others-- He would have to be the one to take guard tonight.

"Tree... climbing?" At this, Reflectionpaw hesitated. Her father had never taught her tree-climbing. He'd always told her to charge forward and not waste time hiding away up on the branches of a tree. And to be honest, she feared the idea of clinging onto a fragile branch all the way up in the air. There would be no safe place to fall to if her paws ever lost their grip.

Reflectionpaw gave Reedpaw a nod, and then turned her gaze back to the rogue. "I think she can walk," she answered Sparklemoon. "But she might need support. After all, she's been floating around for who knows how long..." Refle gave the rogue a nudge. "Maybe you can lean on me and Reedpaw while we bring you back to camp. You can manage it, right?" Her hazel eyes held traces of worry as she watched the tattered mess of a once healthy cat.

"You think so? Thanks!" Emblem grinned, lime eyes locking on Pigment for a second before he turned away, busying himself with another berry. He was oblivious to the she-cat's discreet looks, but thought she seemed pretty just the same. Although, to Emblem, he'd seen plenty of pretty faces over the course of his long, adventurous journey. A pretty face was nothing to him; what he had always searched for was someone... different. And Pigmentation was certainly different.

"Do you live around here, Pigment? Or just traveling through?" he asked, keeping his tone of voice casual.

Hushed and dampening was the mood of the Shadowclan camp when Astuziakit opened her eyes that morning. After the deaths of the clan, especially the leader's and one of the general's, the atmosphere had gone tense and heavy with grief. Why would a kit like she herself worry over things like these? No, she wasn't old enough to know what this meant to the future of the clan, but she'd lived through enough things in her early loner days to know what death brought upon the grieving. She wasn't close enough to any of the cats that had died, or any particular being in the camp, but she could feel the chill that those empty stares held. No one thought that a kit would give a second thought, and most didn't, but Astuziakit had always been a little different.

Finally, she lifted herself out of the den and emerged into the clearing, green eyes scanning the area to see what activities were happening. Patrols were being organized, cats were running back and forth to the medicine cat den, and there in the middle of the clearing was a small tom sprawled over his meal. This proved to be interesting to Astuziakit, and she found herself padding over. Even in the solemn mood of the camp, she was eager to meet the ones she'd never interacted with before, although this kit seemed to be slightly different. He didn't look carefree or childishly happy like the others--there was a thoughtful expression in his gaze. Astuziakit came closer, eyes locking on the uneaten mouse. "Hey, you wanna share that?" she plopped down, albeit a little impolitely. "Need to talk?"

OOC: O_o ... A song? May I please have the name?

    IC:
Fidaelis curled up in his nest, but his eyes were locked on their surroundings. He'd drifted off once or twice, but mostly kept watch over the other wolves. It was because of this that he saw Sky shivering in her nest, not quite asleep. But who was he, to go and comfort her? Sure, they'd had a brief talk and shared a laugh, but that was nothing much. On the other hand, though, she didn't seem to be closer to anyone else beside her brother, and Fidaelis... well, he enjoyed her company. And so the large wolf left his nest--he didn't need sheltering from the cold, anyway--and padded over to Sky, plopping down beside her. "Can't sleep?" he asked, concern tugging at the question.

OOC: I usually do semi-advanced to advanced, but anything's fine with me.

    IC:
Reflectionpaw looked up at the huge tree, her eyes widening. How was she supposed to climb that? Even if the chances of falling were decreased, there were still some possibility that she would slip and fall to her death. "I can do it," she repeated, voice shaking, and stepped forward to latch her claws into the trunk. Slowly, she inched upward, hindpaws pushing herself and frontpaws clinging on for dear life... She just hoped she didn't gain a heart attack from all this pressure.
