OOC: Recap please??

Burstpelt was sleeping soundly, lying down in the middle of the cats. Highstep had returned, now sitting and waiting for Bloodkit to return.

OOC: I really want to get to that new territory soon...

OOC: Kyari is active, it's Leafy that hasn't been on. I have been really bored since then. Nothing's been happening!

Burstpelt came next to her leader's side, her dark green eyes shining brightly.
Highstep watched from behind, and looked to Bloodkit.
"We're going to a new home." she said calmly. "Would you like to walk with us?"
Thunderkit smiled from behind his mom.

OOC: I am here, again super-ultra-mega low muse..........

"Of course! You're my daughter!" Highstep laughed cheerily, all of the unkindness forgotten and forgiven.

OOC: I'm just gunna wing it!

IC: Yew scrambled up underneath the bars, overhearing the dogs' conversation.
"Oh, that?" she squeaked. "That'll set off the sprinklers. When anyone does that, the humans assume that there's a fire, and evacuate everyone, even the animals!"

Fingers was busily fiddling with a lock to the feed room, her stomach growling noisily.
"A-Are you sure you should be doing this? Trixie just forgot to feed us! She'll remember eventually!"

"I sure am!" Yew squeaked in excitement.

Burstpelt rushed over to Leafshade and Shadowseeker.
"What happened?!" she said quickly, prodding the limp she-cat's side.
Taking Leafshade's pulse, she felt nothing but cold and icy fur under her paw.

Highstep purred, and Thunderkit beamed in happiness.
"We're all here now!" he smiled again.

OOC: YESH!! Burstie has an apprentice!

Thunderkit laughed and batted Bloodkit's shoulder.

Burtpelt watched the tom, and looked back at Leafshade's limp body.
"I don't know what to tell you, was she showing signs of sluggishness, slurred speech, confusion?" Burstpelt said, perplexed at why the she-cat had collapsed.

OOC: Mercury has been extremely inactive lately, so you're going to have to be patient for her to respond. Sorry if I sound mean....

Many pound staff were running around in panic, yelping and running about like... rats. Yew laughed at her own comparison, and helped the dogs along.
"This way! The main entrance is over here!" she squeaked, speeding across the wet tile.

Fingers had the lock just about open when a deafening alarm made her jump. Jets of water sprayed the blue cat, and she mewed loudly. Ishmael cried out, shaking off the water to only get drenched again.

The beautiful mixed dog bolted out of the open pound doors, and into the bright and warm summer day. She barked loudly in utter joy, and ran towards the dark and lush forest that beckoned to her.

Highstep pawed the two kits gently.
"Calm down. You're going to need your energy if you want to get to the new territory before sundown." she said sweetly, her tail twitching in amusement.

Should we start accepting forms for Leafeon, Kyari?

And my queen will happily take care of Maplekit. I don't know about Whitepaw's mentor, though. Maybe Symbolheart?? *Looks hopefully at Cookiekitty*

Highstep glanced at her sister.

OOC: We 're going to have to wait for Leafeon... which will take awhile....

OOC: She did? Then where is she?

Burstpelt turned from Leafshade to follow Wishingstar.
"She's dead, Shadowseeker." she says quickly, eager to get a move on.

Highstep turned to take one last look at the destroyed MeadowClan territory.
"We grew up there." she muttered to Wishingstar. "It hurts me to see it like this, but we must leave, for new beginnings, right, sister?"

Yew skittered out of the doors, smiling at the warm sunshine. The soft peat felt much better on her paws than the cold tile did.
