She laughed too, her inner kit coming out. Just then she looked into his eyes as a breaze ruffle her beatiful tabby fur and the light played across her dark green eyes.

The New Warrior

Gorsekit crouched in the middle of the Birchclan camp. His eyes were fixed on a lady bug, creeping along. He swung his haunches and pounced. I got it! I got it! he thought. He let out a Mrrrww of triumph. I'll be a warrior! he thought proudly, a blaze of determination flashed in his eyes. A shadow then fell over the brown kit. He looked up to see weaseltail. " Get out of my way mouse dung!" he hissed. Weaseltail despised kits. " But I'll be a warrior soon! You can't talk to me like that then!" insisted the kit." "You? a warrior?Ha! Never!" he sneered. " b-but I caught that ladybug... I-I did!" he sniffed. Seeing what was happening, his brothers, Hawkkit,Shrewkit,and Stonekit, lept to his defense. " hey! You can't talk to Gorsekit like that!" snapped Hawkkit," he's as much as a warrior as you are!" growled Shrewkit. " pathetic! A real warrior wouldn't cry at a harsh comment!" laughed weaseltail. " he isn't crying!" instead Stonekit. " if you four are warriors why don't you just show me!" he hissed. " alright we will" spat Hawkkit. At that moment Hawkkit and Shrewkit leapt at his foot, hitting down on it hard. " MROOOOWWW!!" he screached. Stonekit bit down even harder on his tail, making him cry out again. Now Gorsekit lept at the warriors ear and bit down. He stumbled to the ground with some of the warriors fragile ear in his mouth.the tomcat hissed and ran out of camp spotting curses behind him. " you sure showed him!" laughed Shrewkit. " ya, you spoiled his good looks!" giggled Hawkkit. Stonekit nodded in agreement. " I... I gusse... I did!" he said astonished and proud of what he did. He noticed his leader watching. " I can't wait to see you in the warriors den!" he called. Gorsekit smiled and nodded. I will be a warrior! One day... he thought proudly. After a while he and his brother were scampering around the camp, getting into more mischief.
